I should have written this review a few years ago. Keith Painting painted the exterior of my house in late summer of 2020, during the height of the Covid era. They did extensive prep work before commencing to actually paint the house. The prep is key. Anyone can paint a house, but getting the surface prepared so the paint job will look good and last a long time is most important. I have a particularly difficult retaining wall in my front yard holding up my front lawn, and the wall is covered with stucco. Water seeps through the stucco and over time breaks it down. If the surface is prepared properly, the stucco can last for years before this happens; if it's not properly prepared, all it takes is one rainy season. These guys did a great job both on my house exterior and stucco-covered wall. They look great and have lasted a long time. It was a breeze working with Daniel to get the project set up, and telling him my concerns about the retaining wall. He assured me that he "got it" and that the wall would perform like it was supposed to, and boy did they come through. They also bid the job $1K lower than the other company I had bid the job (who I should add is also a company I have had do painting before, and who I trust to do great work.) I will definitely use Keith Painting next time I have a painting project, and I have already sent referrals their way. read more

Painters took down downspouts to paint, but put them back up without using the brackets that were used to hold them up previously, thus leaving 2 large 1 inch holes where the brackets once were. Once it rained, water entered through the holes and caused a leak in one room, and in another room, our entire ceiling collapsed. They also lost a handful of hardware that they removed while painting the house. read more

Keith painting did an amazing job painting our 1938 Spanish house. This was no small feat - it is on a hill and three stories. They had the scaffolding and insurance needed (unlike some of the other companies I met) to safely complete the job. They also sanded and reglazed all of the windows which aoriginal multi paned, wooden sash windows. On top of the quality job that was completed on time, the customer service was amazing. Daniel communicated with us regularly, explained everything involved in the process, and kept everything on track. I will definitely use them again and can't recommend this family-owned business enough! read more

Today we had our final walkthrough with Alex and his son Alex now that the exterior painting is complete. We got quotes from several painters and there was quite a price range. One company wasn't available until November, another company wouldn't do the wood repair and suggested we use their very expensive carpenter referral; another very expensive painter was experienced in older homes and yes it's older, but not in Bungalow Heaven, so they were out of the game. Keith Painting was our happy medium and Alex was very agreeable and made some good suggestions. They used Dunn Edwards paints and a Sherwin Williams porch paint. The workers were Omar and Miguel and they were here some long hours in the heat to get the job done right. Super happy with this company and highly recommend them. read more

Keith Painting did a terrific job on the exterior of my house. It was long overdue and they had their work cut out for them in repairing stucco, doing some wood repairs, and removing chipped paint along with all the prep needed before actually painting. The final result looks so great! Communication was excellent, and while they were busy with many jobs, they gave me a realistic time frame and kept to it. The job was very reasonably priced and completed on time. The workers were diligent and hard-working, and made sure I was satisfied with any little fixes needed. I can enthusiastically recommend them for both quality and value. read more

Keith Painting did an amazing job on our house, and in the middle of a pandemic paint shortage! After interviewing several painters, Daniel impressed us the most. He was patient with all our questions (and color indecisiveness). His crew was respectful, it was done on time, and we love how our house looks. After his inspection when he gave us his quote, he said if his guys found any rotted wood during prep, they'd replace it as part of the cost. When they got to the back patio, they found two posts that needed to be entirely replaced, and he was true to his word. The estimate was the cost. We enthusiastically recommend! read more

As first timers with exterior paint, I would definitely insist on getting a paint sample so you know exactly what to expect even if not suggested. Owner was very professional in giving us a quote from the beginning and ensuring we were happy with the experience/product at the end. Painters were very kind, professional, and hardworking. There was a bit of communication that could have been better on both ends, we learned a lot in the process. We truly appreciate how much Daniel went to ensure we were satisfied customers. We are very happy, thank you! read more

We just had The inside and outside of our home painted by Keith Painting. I cannot say enough good things about them. Alejandro and his team did a spectacular job. They were so accommodating as well. The outside our home has a large wrap around cat enclosure and they made sure that our cat could go back in at the end same day it was painted. They have the best customer service we have ever experienced with any company we have hired. I'm pretty picky about painting in general and wow they really impressed me. We couldn't really find much that even needed touch ups at the end of the job. Owner Daniel assured me though that if we did find anything later they'd be back. We found their estimate to be quite fair as well. If you are looking for a fabulous home painting company then look no further. read more

I am very happy with the job they did on the exterior of my house. Daniel was very responsive and accommodating to my schedule. Very good quality for the price. The exterior of my house looks amazing now. I highly recommend them for your next painting job. read more

Our house needed a good paint job back when we bought it 21 years ago, so to say it was in need of painting is an understatement! We received several quotes, and Keith Painting's estimate came in right in the middle, and we found it to be fair. We loved the fact that Alex brought his teenage son out to our home to assess the job. Alex explained that the business is a 3rd generation business (his own dad taught him and his brother, Daniel, and now Alex was teaching his son). We were told that the job would take about a week (maybe a little less/ maybe a little more). The first two days, there was lots of sanding, sealing of cracks in the stucco, and priming. We had a stretch on three of our walls on our back patio where there had once been a patio cover, and you could see exactly where it had been due to a very poor stucco job. Miguel blended the lines of it beautifully by recreating the stucco design! After all of these years we can no longer see the line! (totally stoked about this!!) Miguel and his partner started the job last Monday at 8:00 a.m. and worked each day until 6:00 p.m. every day and finished in only 5 days! We'd chosen a grayish taupe, which in hindsight we thought clashed with the red brick trim we had on one of the front walls of our house. After a quick text to Daniel over the weekend, he sent Miguel back to our place the following Monday to paint the brick (with a warning to us that it will likely require maintenance due to paint not adhering well to brick). We couldn't be happier with the attention to every detail in the prep work and the excellent paint job they did on the stucco, wood siding, window trim, shutters, doors, AND the brick! Thank you to the Keith Family for an outstanding job! read more

Keith Painting is an excellent, respectable and reliable painting company. Family owned and operated and they provide phenomenal service. We selected Keith painting last year for our house after getting over 8 estimates on our property. They offered the best explanation on their services, they were professional, had great reviews and were very patience and accommodating throughout the process. We liked their work, customer service and price (of course) so much that we used Keith painting again this year for a family owned house in the area. I would definitely recommend Keith painting for your painting needs! Excellent job, professional service, and customer service is second to none. Thank you Keith Painting! read more

In this age of corporate indifference, it is refreshing to find a copany that is family owned and operated. John Keith and his family have painted at least 5 houses on our block over the years--including our house years before we bought it in 2015. Their bid was right in the range of the other bids we had received. After checking their licensing with the state, we signed with them. Our house, a single story frame stucco-covered home with a detached garage Magnolia Park in Burbank, was in need not just new paint but also stucco repair as well as some replacements of soffit wood that had rotted over the years. They finished the work in under a week, first power washing, then repairing the stucco, replacing the rotted wood, then priming and painting. The workers who did the cleaning, repair and painting had been with the company for years. They used high grade paint for both the wooden trim and the stucco, fully warranted in writing. The only part not warranted was the concrete porches, which they painted blue, the same color as our trim. All of the warranties as well as the one exception (the porches) were stated in writing in their contract. What we liked especially is that one or both of the Keith brothers (sons of John Keith) came by each day to inspect and to discuss with us any concerns we had. When the painting was complete, they came by for a final inspection, and we had pointed out for them which parts needed touching up. They made all the touchups that we had indicated before accepting our final payment. In short, their work met or far exceeded our expectations. We whole heartedly recommend them for a truly high-quality paint job. read more

Keith painting did a good job with painting the exterior of our house. Daniel was very professional and prompt with getting us the quote and with starting and finishing the job. We reached out to Keith Painting via Yelp message and I'm so glad we connected! Alex is extremely professional, kind, and well-versed in painting. His team, including Omar, were quick and detailed. They even worked overtime to make our job happen so we could move into our new house. Their work gave our house a completely new look and feel. They painted all of our old stained wood baseboards, all the trim and doors, two bedroom walls, and our great room walls and ceiling (including skylight wells!). I couldn't be happier with the outcome and highly recommend them. read more

I am extremely happy with Keith Painting. After having 2 painters before, that were horrible, I was super pleased with Keith Painting. Quality and workmanship are superb! I met Daniel Keith. He is extremely nice and accommodating. His employees are very competent and very punctual. Miguel, the lead painter, is highly experienced, and did an excellent job replacing rotted wood also. They kept to the schedule and even finished ahead of schedule! I wholeheartedly recommend Keith Painting! read more

Daniel and Miguel from Keith Painting were both great! Daniel met with us (masked and safe distance) to go over our home and documented all the areas we wanted to improve. He got better paint than we had originally done the house with to help protect our doors and window sills from the harsh sun on the south side of our home. Miguel and his crew stayed masked and distanced when working and were so INCREDIBLY meticulous! I've included some of their great work (don't mind the dust that got blown on the front painted porch from the yard work - it was 100% perfect when the painters left!) The pricing was competitive - but the real value was in the attention to detail. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and hire them again in the future! read more

All of the estimates we got were fairly high - we went with Keith Painting because Daniel seemed to understand exactly what we needed. As it turned out, we had to turn around and cancel right away because California went into COVID lockdown. As soon as we were able, we called to reschedule. The company was gracious all the way around and accommodated our sudden rush after months of delay. Carlos and his co-worker (sorry I forgot his name) were prompt, polite and careful with our home. They got right down to work and did an amazing job. Our realtor was impressed with how smooth and even the new paint looked and the photos for our home sale look magnificent. Thank you. read more

My husband Robert K. and I are delighted to have this opportunity to update the excellent experience we had with the Keith Brothers, Alex & Daniel, who completed the work on January 27, 2016. I discovered Keith Painting, Inc. after doing an extensive search on the internet for a reputable company to replace the shingles on the entire front of our home and repaint the whole exterior. Not only did they meet that qualification, I found the Keith brothers to be extremely professional, honest and reliable. The family-owned company was founded by their Father in 1953. The best review of their work is on Angie's List, where a dozen members all give them A ratings, including me. Our "Birdhouse" home was built in 1959 by real estate developer William Mellenthin who was known for designing charming ranch-style homes with gorgeous, wood beam, cathedral ceilings. Having owned our home since 1991, the last time we had the exterior painted was November 1993; unfortunately the 1994 Northridge earthquake damaged the stucco and as a result we neglected upkeep of the exterior. Thus, our home needed substantial prep work, including the replacement of old, warped, half-torn, over-painted shingles. Because we wanted colors to reflect the Craftsman-style architecture of our home, we were unsure about what to choose and didn't decide until the day that the prepping began! Daniel confidently showed up with Sherwin-Williams custom paint charts and recommended the ideal colors for our taste. Please view the attached photos to see the superior work replacing and staining the cedar shingles, as well as repairing the extensive wood trim--eaves, fascia, shutters--to look new. The prep work was meticulous. The lead crewman, Miguel (or Michael)--who's been employed by the Keith family for 25 years--did superior work in power-washing, repairing the stucco and in such details as painting the 15 windows and French doors perfectly. It took 2 weeks of intensive, 8-hour days to complete the job. After learning of Miguel's extensive experience staining interior woodwork--and with the Keith Bros. approval--we hired Miguel later in the year to stain and finish the inside of windows, French doors, and other woodwork to match the interior wood of our home. Another perfect job well done! In closing, from the moment we met Daniel when he came over to give us an estimate, we've had a very good feeling about the integrity and ability of Keith Painting. They provide excellent work with attention to detail and top quality products, along with great customer service. What we appreciated the most was their attitude that they would do whatever it took to make sure we were satisfied. We look forward to working with them again. read more

Loved the work Keith Painting's did for our house! We had our interior painted and they were wonderful, reliable, finished when they said they would and it ended up looking great! I contacted Keith Painting based a trusted referral from a friend I had received. She had told be about the good work they had done on the exterior of their home. I needed painting done inside due to some repairs and upgrades made to the house. Daniel and I worked out a price and shortly thereafter I was scheduled and all work was completed in a timely manner. "Dion" was the worker at the house all three days and does beautiful work! Daniel came by everyday to check to see how progress was going and to see if we had any concerns or questions. "Dion" was very quiet and neat in his work and even stayed late all three days to get everything done. No surprises, good attention to detail. I will call him for my next painting project! read more

Keith Painting - Business Card - Painters Near Me - Burbank, California

Keith Painting just completed painting our home -- inside and out. If you're looking for a company that charges a fair price, has good/prompt communication with you, has a crew that does impeccable prep work, is skilled at both repairs AND painting and has an incredible work ethic -- then look no further! Keith Painting delivers in every way! We had noticed their signs in yards and spoke with those homeowners (when possible) -- and each highly recommended their work. We knew we had a big job on our hands because after moving into our home, we discovered the previous interior paint job had been VERY poorly prepped. Some walls looked as if wallpaper had been partially left behind while others had over-filled and unsanded nail hole patches. Some of our wood trim looked like it had been chewed on by a dog. When Alex (co-owner with his brother Daniel) and his son came out for the estimate, I showed him all of the damaged walls and trim -- and he assured me his crew could make repairs and improve things considerably. Miguel and his partner Donelo (hope I spelled that correctly) worked miracles on those walls and trim! Their prep work and attention to detail is so impressive. While painting the outside of the home, there were some areas I expected a bit of sanding; but they took many of those spots down to the bare wood. If you have any stucco that is bubbling, rest assured they will remove and restore -- making it look like new! We even had some rusted metal trellises that they repainted for us to match our exterior trim -- and then Miguel reinstalled them with new clips! The guys showed up every morning and stayed late each day -- usually past 5:30. Needless to say, they met their timeline! Alex was a pleasure to work with and assured us BEFORE the job started to please speak up if we wanted something touched up, etc. That gave us confidence the company believes in customer satisfaction! We appreciated all they did to give our home a beautiful new look. We would hire them again in a New York minute and would heartily recommend them to all! read more

We needed our house painted badly. We had wood rot, cracks in our stucco, and a ton of stucco damage from previous negligent painters. I called Keith Painting and Daniel came to my house within a hour and gave me a quote. After doing my research, Keith Painting gave us the best price and had the best 5 star reviews so we booked them. From day 1 we had nothing but a great experience. Daniel put up samples for me a few days before his team started and finished on time. They were so meticulous and did such an amazing job. I was worried they would destroy my patio furniture, or get paint everywhere, (some construction workers are so sloppy) but Keith Painting was so thorough. Every day they cleaned up their mess and accommodated all my needs. For example, on the last day they were here I remembered there was a light switch outside that wasn't functional. I told the project manager, Alejandro, and he removed the light switch, stuccoed over it, and painted it. No problems, no extra charges, so pleasant to work with. Daniel is such a gem and we are so grateful we found him and Keith Painting! They did an amazing job painting the entire exterior of my house and replacing the mid century modern wood beams that had wood rot. They didn't cut corners or leave a mess. I am thrilled with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a painter. I will definitely call them again when we are ready to paint the interior. Thank you! read more

Keith painting just completed the exterior painting for my two story home. From start to finish, Keith Painting was transparent, communicative, and professional. Daniel Keith provided me a same day quote, and his team finished the job within the time frame promised. Miguel, the lead painter, and his partner Guillermo are incredibly hard workers who stayed most days until the sun was setting. They came back for a few minor touch ups within a few days, and the house looks terrific. I would definitely use Keith Painting again. read more

I can't say enough good things about this family-owned company. A friend of mine had heard about them from a neighbor who had recently hired them and had a fantastic experience and she recommended I give them a call. I did and spoke with Alex and every bit of the experience from then on was exceptional. First, he did a walkthrough with my realtor while I was out of town for work and when he called with the estimate I felt very comfortable trusting that the price was right and fair. Then, because I had a limited amount of time before my furniture and household goods were to arrive, he offered to make some calls to clients to see if he could rearrange a few other projects in order to get mine completed in that window (thank you again to Alex and the other clients!). Alex also took the time to help me figure out the best paint colors for the walls and ceilings, which was a lifesaver. Still, the best part was the workmanship itself. Alex's team, led by Omar, was truly amazing! My unit has a lot of crown molding and wainscoting and they did everything, to include all of the prep work, to the highest possible standards. And to top it all off, they were the nicest people to work with from start to finish! If I had a boss, a friend, a close relative, or anyone I know ask me to recommend a painter, I would tell them to skip the whole process of getting quotes from multiple companies and just go with Keith Painting. You're not going to find anyone better, more trustworthy, or easier to work with. A+++ read more

Keith Painting recently painted my neighbor's house - exterior. My neighbor is super picky (he had already fired a previous crew). He raved about KP and honestly his house looked phenomenal after the job. Recently I had to have a new pergola built in my back yard. In addition much of my paint and stucco on my home's exterior was in bad shape. My neighbor highly recommended KP to do the pergola and paint/stucco work. Their rate was quite competitive and the completed work was top notch!!! The pergola looks great and the work they did on the house really makes it look new. They work quickly and professionally. I was impressed by the fact that for a relatively small job four people came. Aside from doing stellar work, they were friendly, polite and did extremely careful work. I give Keith Painting my highest possible recommendation. Use them - you will be ecstatic with the outcome. I'll be using them to paint the inside of my house as soon as clear out all the clutter. read more
