Lenny & Archie did a fantastic job on our place in Glendale. When I got busy at work and couldn't do the job right away, and I called him to start the project up again, he insisted on coming back out to get another look. I was also busy finishing a job when they were painting, and they were very patient waiting for me to come outside to answer questions and pick paint chips. There was one trim color I absolutely hated, but didn't know how to change it (it was the wood rafters under the overhang and beams which supported the roof which the previous flippers had just painted "poop" brown to hide the imperfections in the rotting spots. Lenny advised me on a darker shade of the existing Trim color which I liked and had never thought of. Not only did that color work great, they even glued some of the rotting wood spots. I was also nervous about the porch paint since the flippers had used a terrible quality paint which peeled right after we moved in. He made sure it was sanded all the way down and advised on a durable "porch paint" which will last a long time. In addition he was friendly w/my little girl and my dog - he even came back to paint the porches on a day when we were gone as a family. The best painters in the Valley! I had just moved into my new condo last year and called a bunch of painters to paint and do some repair work in the bedroom and kitchen. The bids I either got were either crazy high, were never sent after the initial visit, or they refused the job because it wasn't big enough and they had plenty of other work lined up. Lenny came out, took a look, gave me a bid, and despite also being also completely booked, promised to follow-up to schedule once he had availability. Lo and behold, a couple weeks later, he ACTUALLY DID. His bid was also super super reasonable. Archie (who did the painting and works with Lenny) was able to find a time and date that worked for both of us. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the results, even coming in when he was supposed to have a day off! I recently hired Ole Time Painting to paint the interior of my house, including a complete removal of the existing wall texture and installation of new texture. It was a pretty massive undertaking spanning several weeks. Lenny (owner) was extremely friendly and a pleasure to work with while planning the project. We had been looking for a good painter for a a few months and found Lenny and Ole Time Painting through our contractor and boy are we glad we did! Easy to work with and very professional Lenny and Oscar were a great team and very respectful of our, wishes, our deadline, and both went above and beyond to provide excellent service and a awesome paint job. Our early 30's Spanish style home is on a slope and a mostly original exterior, Lenny and Oscar took great care to respect our landscaping, the exterior that we wanted to stay as close to original as possible and they also worked great with our other contractors. I was refinancing my house and had a small window of time to get repairs done and the house painted. Lenny went out of his way to make certain that I met my deadline and his guys went out of their way to go over and above what I would have considered normal for painting the exterior of an old house. I was referred to Ole Time Painting by my interior designer, and the quality of work definitely shows. Lenny and Steve painted my kitchen, dining area and the living room. Our kitchen was dated and I didn't want to redo the kitchen just after a move, so our designer recommended to painting the cabinets, and I'm glad that we did -- now they look fantastic. They really took the time to tape the edges, sand and prime -- and with the right color it looks better than new. My living room ceiling is sloped and is very high, and some places are difficult to reach; also, my ceiling and wall are painted in a different color -- I don't know how they painted the ceiling and wall with such good edges. They were punctual, professional and friendly and great to do business with. Lenny also came back to finish the work after another contractor redid the wall at no extra charge. Lenny literally saved my bookshelves! After getting a really bad paint job on my library-sized bookshelves and cabinets, I was referred to Ole Time Painting by my handyman.
