We needed our facia on our second story repainted, as well as some odd and ends exterior paint done. David and his brother Dan were incredible to work with! They communicated with us constantly throughout the process, and had a pride of ownership that isn't often seen in contractors. They went above and beyond just painting my house, like re-caulking an outdoor planter shelf so future water damage wouldn't ruin the new paint job. They always came to my home on time, and left everything in a clean, organized state when they were done for the day. I would 1000% work with these guys again and highly recommend them to anyone who needs painting done - they are the best!! read more

I was looking for estimates to paint our building's hallways and I decided to give a new company a shot...I do not regret my decision. I messaged SoCal Painters and David quickly responded and set a date to come over for a free estimate. I was surprised that he gave me an estimate on the spot and was significantly lower than my "trusted" painters. I hired them to do a smaller job first to test their skills and I was satisfied with their work and professionalism. David and his family were constantly making sure that everything was going smoothly, and even painted some areas that were not in our original estimate. After the job was finished David offered to come back and fix anything that may be damaged during our hallway renovation project. I was glad I took a chance with a family owned company that cares about their profession and can be trusted. read more

David and Ash and Ariel were amazing. First off, I had narrowed down an accent wall to 2 colors and the one he helped me choose turned out to be the best color in the house. They did 3 bathrooms which are now a breathe of fresh air. So vibrant and beautiful. Their work is clean, fast, and they are super nice to have on the job. Its a family run business and you feel that from the first meeting. I had hired David and SoCal to do my dining room and brighten up the old wood from an ugly dark spray on paint with lacquer to a swiss coffee on the wood walls and beams. Even added a touch of blue to the ceiling. I added on the staircase, pocket doors, railings and posts due to how amazing the dining room turned out. It is very hard to find good people in a big city where work is aplenty. These guys are great! They will paint more of my house in the years to come and eventually the exterior. I can be pretty nit picky on touching up and these guys whereas pleasant throughout the entire process. Seriously. Bravo fellas. Love the work. You are truly blessed. read more

SoCal Painters - My dining room after SoCal Painters completely outdid themselves. What talent. I never thought my home would be this amazing! - Painters Near Me - Burbank, California

Hired this family owned business to paint walls and ceilings - approx 900 sq ft of my 1100 sq ft home. David was quick to reply to my call and came out the next day to give a quote. We got quotes from 3 companies and David's came in the lowest by a substantial amount. They were able to start the day after thanksgiving and even came out thanksgiving morning to get paint swatches from us. On that note, David was very knowledgeable on what color and finish would be best. Best part is that Sam, Dan, and their team finished the entire house in less than 1 day!! They did a walk through after to ensure everything met our expectations, and also said we could call if we noticed something later and that they would come back out and do a touch up at no cost. The job was basically flawless and we are very happy! read more

I highly recommend using SoCal Painters to get your painting job done - they do an excellent job at a reasonable price! The team was very professional and worked very hard to achieve the results I wanted. They did the job with a lot of care and attention to detail and were very dependable and good with communications. Highly recommend without reservations. read more

My house needed a paint job and I was referred by a friend of mine to these guys. They came out to inspect the house and gave us a quote. We decided to scheduled them to paint the exterior & interior of the house and they had completed the job in a timely manner. We called them back again for another job around the house and let me tell you, the customer service and response from David was professional. Highly recommend these guys if you need any paint job for your home or business. Great work guys! read more

SoCal painters were amazing! I called them last week to see if they can paint 3 of our rooms in the next week. Most company's were telling us they can't or was beyond over priced but this company was able to accommodate my request. Was able to come in with a skilled and a professional team, complete it. I am very happy with the work. I will use them again! Being as detailed and picky as I am, I was happy to see that there were fine lines between the trim and walls. There wasn't any runs either! No mess was left behind. They were perfect! Will use them on our next project. read more

I needed to have some parts of my house painted because our HOA was asking us to. There were just a few places that needed touch up. I called a few places and I felt the most comfortable with David. I decided to paint the entire house because his pricing was so reasonable and fair. They did a wonderful job. Great communication, competitive pricing, job done well and in the time promised. Our house needed some exterior painting done, areas were peeling and wooden walls were exposed. After few searches, and contacting a few painters, we decided to go with Socal Painters. It is a family owned business. Competitive pricing. Very good with communications, which I really appreciate. I contacted someone else, but wouldn't give me an estimated starting date, I was not in a hurry to get it done, but I also didnt want to wait for the unknown. Also during the work, when they noticed something, they let me know right away. They are very detail oriented. After all the work was done, I didnt have to clean anything else! I would hire them again if I need anything else in the future. read more

SoCal Painters repainted the entire interior of our new home. We met with David before hand and figured out what colors we wanted and what type of finish we wanted. The results are amazing! They completed the job when they said they would and left us with extra paint for touch ups down the road (all labeled so we don't have to guess). Price was also the lowest of 3 quotes we got. We will be using their services again once we decide to paint the exterior of our house. Would highly recommend. read more

Dave and Dan were responsive and professional. Amazing people to work with. I would highly recommend them for any project.

We had in-wall AC units been removed in several rooms and needed professionals to patch and paint those "giant ugly" holes in the wall. SoCal Painters did excellent work and we were very happy with the final results. They did show up on time and finish on time as well. Very honest and NO empty promises. I highly recommend So Cal Painters for your upcoming project! A tenant recently moved out and we needed to get the property ready for the market. I got the pleasure of getting introduced to David when I was on the hunt to find a painter to paint both the exterior and interior of my home. He was extremely kind, patient and helpful as he spent hours with me on deciding what colors would really complement my house. David would always answer promptly and provide me with updates as to the progress of the job, which I really appreciated. Him and his crew diligently spent their time ensuring the house was perfectly painted and did not miss any single details. They all did an excellent job. I highly recommend SoCal Painters to all those who are looking for a fair and reasonable price to get their home painted. I will definitely be using them for all my painting jobs in the future because of their tremendous and efficient work! read more

I should have left this review many months ago. We hired SoCal Painters to paint our first home about eight years ago. We felt like they did a good job. We mostly worked with David, and his brother a bit. Then we hired them/David again last December to paint our current home. I appreciated how they did their best to work within our schedule and get the house completed prior to our move-in date. However, they 100% brought in their C-Team to do the job. To this day I am constantly finding messy paint work around our house. The original paint color of the interior walls was a light green. We decided to paint over all of that with a neutral white/light gray color. I am constantly finding visible green paint throughout our house that the painters missed. I also often see several large areas where I can faintly see the green underneath the new color. It is evident that they only did one coat on many of the walls, Especially areas under and next to windows, wall corners, etc., where they didn't think it would be as noticeable to do a sloppy job. I actually mentioned to David after the job was completed that it didn't look like they had done two coats. David claimed that the reason it didn't look very good is because I had selected Benjamin Moore paint. He claimed that Benjamin Moore pain isn't as good as Behr paint (which they're able to get at a discount), and Benjamin Moore paint typically requires three coats because they make it so thin. If that's not a load of BS I don't know what is. And please note, if prior to the start of the project he had told me that Benjamin Moore paint won't be thick enough to cover the existing green color, I probably would have chosen to hire a different painter. He was just coming up with an excuse after the fact for their poor work. Additionally, on the day that they completed the job, I came over to give final approval and payment. It was very stressful for me because I saw sooo many mistakes. It's a 1500 square-foot house, and we spent an hour of me walking around pointing out all of the obvious mistakes and having them fix it in front of me. There were far too many mistakes for me to be able to catch that day at 5PM will their whole crew packing up their trucks and getting ready to leave. Especially with the lighting not very good since it was evening. Btw- for both of our closet interiors that were updated and had removable shelves- did they easily remove the shelves before painting the walls behind them? No. The geniuses were lazy enough to leave the shelves in place and paint the walls areas in between the shelves, and got paint all over the new white shelves. They did this about five minutes before they finished the job because the paint was still very wet. I had to ask them to repaint the closets 2x because they kept doing a terrible job. And- even after removing all the shelves and correctly painting the walls- they immediately put the shelves back, and because all the shelf edges touch the walls it ruined their paint job and got paint on the shelves again! And last but not least, as the project went on he kept adding more charges to the job and claimed that those things weren't in the original scope. So in the end, I don't think they were that much cheaper than other well-known companies. I should have left this review 10 months ago, but I just found yet another wall next to a window in my son's room where I could see a lot of green showing through in several places (we had the room painted Gray) and I just about lost it. I'm sick of having to touch-up their shoddy work on a weekly basis. :-/ It's disappointing how many companies there are that hire unqualified subcontractors to do their work. read more

Recommend SoCal Painters , i did not use them but the owner was passionate to describe the work to be done in detail.

I had a couple of small holes in the drywall of my garage and left a message through Yelp with SoCal Painters for an estimate. David got back to me a few hours later and it's a cheap fix that can be done by myself instead of spending a lot more for him to come out. He told me what materials I needed and instructions on what to do. Excellent customer service despite me not being an actual customer. read more

SoCal Painters did a great job. They quickly gave us a bid at a reasonable price. David stayed in communication while the job got scheduled. On the scheduled date, David's father, Sam, and two brothers arrived at the job on time. They brought all the right paints with them. They explained to me how they were going to do the job and how thorough the prep would be. Then, they smoothly and quickly did the job. I thought it would be a lot to complete in one day. But they got it all done. It all looks great! We're happy campers! read more

David and his family was recommended to me by a general contractor also friend. He painted our whole house inside 1400+ square feet with a huge wooden vaulted ceilings. They also removed ugly popcorn ceilings. They painted everything we wanted at a fair price. I say if you need a big job done do it with licensed painters because they did it right. Just put it this way you get what you pay for yea you could go with people that are not licensed but if they screw something up then you end up paying more to get it done right! They did the whole inside of our house in 5 days and they helped me pick out colors which is nice sometimes you need another opinion. I highly recommend them. Also they are very nice people. read more

I own an apartment building built in the 40's with the original kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Everything has been painted over multiple times and needed another coat. I was worried because this was not going to be easy nor cheap. When Sam & David gave me an estimate I wasn't sure if the price was fair so I got a few other estimates. After checking around I gave them the job. I'm happy to say they did a great job and had the best price. I'd recommend them to anyone for any project. I can't say enough good things about SoCal Painters! We had a painting "emergency" when out-of-town guests were scheduled to arrive on Saturday & a different painter we had hired cancelled the week before. I called SoCal and they came to the rescue! This family-owned company takes customer service to the next level - even though the main father/son team was in the middle of a large job, David called his brother to swoop in and save the day! We were so impressed they would go above and beyond at the last minute and NOT try to gouge us with any kind of rush fee. Ash showed up on time, was incredibly sweet & professional, worked QUICKLY and did a fantastic job. Our guest room looks AMAZING and is now ready for company TWO DAYS EARLY! SoCal Painters is prompt, professional, affordable, and does QUALITY work. How many contractors can you say that about anymore? We will definitely be using SoCal for all future painting projects. Thank you David & Ash! read more

Hired these guys to come out and paint the exterior of my house. They walked me through what they were going to do step by step and asked questions without taking liberties on different painting locations. No surprise to see a 5-star rating for David, Dan, Sam, and the rest of the amazing team at So Cal Painters. David is incredibly kind and engaging in coordinating and overseeing the job and client relations, and Dan, who leads the painting team, is one of the most conscientious, responsible, and driven people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. The job began with David going over the project meticulously, explaining strategies and limitations, suggesting worthwhile add-ons (like painting cabinets), and then continued with superb communication from David and Dan as the start date approached. When the job commenced, Dan took the lead, decisively, and Sam and the rest of the team all knew their roles and fulfilled them skillfully and efficiently. Dan was always ready, willing, and able to answer any questions or take care of specific tasks when asked, and David checked in with us throughout the process to ensure all was flowing smoothly. The job was estimated to take 5 days, but after 3 days the team had accomplished everything promised and the interior of our home looks as beautiful as we had hoped. Dan & co. happily took care of any touch-ups we noticed - after David and I did a walk-thru - and left with the promise to return at a later date to take care of anything we might notice over the coming weeks that needs touching up. Renovating a home is hard, frustrating work, and I can't express enough how much I value the opportunity to have worked with these guys. Thank you David, Dan, Sam, and the So Cal Painters team for a job exceptionally well-done! read more

I was looking for popcorn ceiling removal on a tight timeline and SoCal Painters came through in a big way for me. The work was done well and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend SoCal painters for their professionalism, speed, and quality. read more

I called SoCal at 8am on Monday morning. David and his dad were at my house in less than a half an hour! They provided me with what I thought was a fair estimate. I let them know that I would be getting 2 more estimates as well. I don't accept contractors based solely on price, believe me, I go by their reviews and how they present themselves when we meet, and how they explain the work will be performed. SoCal did end up being the lowest bidder at the end anyway. They were held up on another job for a few days which delayed mine but David kept in Amazing contact with me about everything! (Communication is gigantic to me). They were going to paint my back outdoor porch(wooden) and do some stucco/paint work on my exterior as well. Ash came and did the entire job himself which I thought was amazing! He did a wonderful job painting the ol wooden/lattice porch! I had a few areas of concern but these guys handled it in a timely and professional way!! They didn't ask for any money upfront either, and that's hard to find with all of these crook contractors these days. Like others, I read reviews on just about everything that I do, which is a big part Iof why I called SoCal for an estimate in the first place! I would recommend these guys to ANYONE that needed paint work done. read more

I highly recommend So Cal Painters! We needed to paint the entire interior for our 3B+2B house, including pop corn removal from the ceiling. I messaged David. He was quick to respond. We set up a time to meet and walk through the project. Every detail was covered. He promised there wouldn't be any surprise cost down the road. His quote was very reasonable with a realistic time line. I happily chose his team. However, due to a COVID scare, the project was a bit delayed, for a couple of days, which is none of anybody's fault. David was always great in communication. Therefore, even there was uncertainties, I felt reassured. He and his team were courteous, professional, skillful, and adhere to all the necessary safety measures for the pandemic time.
