I used to work at SoCal and let me just tell you guys DONT EAT THERE. The people absolutely don't care for your health , ive seen people drop food and put it right back into your plates. They also don't use gloves when mixing your vegetables. Absolutely disgusting . They even eat out of the chicken bin with their bare fingers while making your plates. I'm only doing this because I really hope nobody has gotten sick by this place It's terrible. read more

Overall they are ok. I am on my third week with all potatos/grains/protein. The first week was really good there was a variety of food from steak, salmon, chicken and turkey. But the second week I received 4 meals of just steak, kale and sweet potato. I like steak but having had 4 meals of the same thing in a week made me tired of it. Never had another salmon meal. For my recent delivery I actually got somebody else's food, hopefully they got some salmon and less of the steak. Other than that their communication is good you send them emails or a text and they are usually quick to respond. read more

If you like clean, healthy food and don't need lots of spices, you will love this food! I have been having this delivered for about a month now and couldn't be happier. I customize the meals with no grain/rice and no red or white potatoes (only sweet). My meals are a protein and either 2 vegetables or a vegetable and sweet potatoes. The meals are cooked perfectly so when you heat them up they are not overcooked at all. Love that they are organic veggies and protein is grass fed, pastured and wild caught. read more

When I first talked with the owner to find out about what the business had to offer and find out about the company, first let me say that he seems like a very down to earth, genuine, caring person who is trying to make a difference in the world so that people can live a healthier lifestyle. Second, the food is made with local, high quality ingredients, it is never processed, always 100% fresh and really really delicious!!! Personally I have been trying to live a healthier lifestyle and I have experienced my ups and downs over the last year and a half of making this change. I know it is hard to cook all your meals and meal prep and on top of that cook possibly different for for the rest of your family. I am a full time college student and trying to work at the same time so time is always a complication for me. Usually if I am trying to eat somewhat healthy and go out to eat to Chipotle or Panera or elsewhere, their healthy foods still aren't all that healthy because they are packed with sodium and other ingredients and all the money spent adds up quick. Well, now I have finally found the solution to actually eat healthy, have portion control, enjoy really delicious food and support a LOCAL business. I would give them 10 stars if I could. This is our 3rd meal delivery service and it FAR exceeds the others. Food is excellent. They tend to keep it simple, which I much prefer. For example I prefer good quality grass fed grilled meat and veggies rather than some crazy spaghetti squash casserole that tries too hard. My son has autism and is gluten, dairy, and grain free, and they accommodate this diet easily. Their service has honestly made this working mom's life so much better. Thank you! read more

We tried out SoCal Fresh last year, food was decent. Decided to start doing our own meal prep at home and cancelled our subscription. The website only allows you to cancel the follow six weeks, which is what we did. Thinking we had cancelled our subscription all together, we never looked at it again until six weeks later when we were charged. Immediately when we got the notification we contacted customer service and said we were to be canceled. Customer service responded saying she has confirmed that we were fully canceled in the system. That following Sunday we received all 15 meals that we did not order nor choose. They arrived on our doorstep while we are were out of town because we were obviously not expecting food on our porch. After back-and-forth with customer service they have still charged our account and will not refund us. If you sign up beware of the terms and Make sure you keep following up to make sure they do not charge you again. Because you will not get a refund for their mistake read more
