Owner and employee are very nice people. Place from the little bit I saw was nice and clean good vibe. My issue is with the eggs. At 96 cents an egg, they are not worth the price. Pasture raised they claim but the egg shells are weak and the yolks are not a dark orange. I understand this is not a real gauge on a healthy well fed hen. But the shells are very weak. Primal pastures has been an absolute blessing to my family and to the community of Murrieta. It goes deeper than that, because they truly are a blessing in this world with the way that they practice regenerative farming, and with the raising of livestock and crops in the most humane and God-intended way possible. I am an absolute stickler when it comes to the toxins that go into our bodies from the food we eat, to the water we drink, to the clothes we wear, to even the air we breath and more... And with primal pastures, I am completely convinced that everything they put their name behind is the ABSOLUTE gold standard. And by gold standard I mean it is the way God intended it to be and the way humans were created to live. We have the family membership: my wife and 3 kids, ages ranging from 10 months old to 5 years old and we visit the farm for fresh air and sunlight every single week. The people and community are friendly, the landscape is green and beautiful, so much beautiful nature. Our visit to the farm has become a routine for our whole family, a sort of decompression from the stresses of everyday life. The kids absolutely love it, the hours fly by when we're there but the minutes move slowly in the most relaxing way. The seasonal fruit and vegetable pickings is a definite plus as well, (the kids love going and picking blackberries and cherry tomatoes when they're available!). The ambience for this property is very uneventful. Yes, it's open land. But last time I was there, I got mosquito bitten and I also have rattlesnakes a back up to the river bed. It's too sad to see their two dogs left out there, when they all go home at the end of the day and their dogs are mangy.. the sheep and lamb are on the chopping block To me that is not a fun place or a happy place to be just because it's green and they have trees I can go to the park for that .. The first order I was told it was there at the location, but it wasn't at the location nothing to worry about because it will be there, but then it wasn't there so I had to wait until someone showed up with my order from another location and yet I still made a second purchase and this chicken was laughable. I never try to prepare chicken that was thick and tough and tight and unable, and yet the precious man at their location said it must've had something to do with the way I prepared it. That's funny. Arriving to Primal Pastures was like taking a time capsule to my youth! The rolling greens, sparkling water, tree swings, slide that curved the hilltop... kids, chickens, dogs, pigs, flowers, laughter, play.... It was a sensory awakening! The little girl in me couldn't wait to play and get dirty. We took the tour and I immediately fell in love with not only the ambiance and nature, but also the idea of taking my families health and eating to the next level. I ordered from them at the end of August and started with two of the 8 oz Pastured Beef New York Strip Steak, the Pasture Raised Ground Beef Patties, and a 2-3 lb Bone-In Pork Loin. We used the ground beef patties to make burgers. They are a little thinner than I pictured and typically choose, about 1/4 lb (They clearly label them, that's on me.) so depending on how you like them cooked, you really need to pay attention to the timing. Also, since I like 1/3lb or a little more, I went with a double patty... which is a little more than I need for one hamburger. Regardless they are so good and flavorful that I stuffed myself with half a point of burger and loved every second of it. The 8oz NY Strip Steaks were thinner than I imagined, but also had good flavor. The bone-in pork loin did not at all look like the picture. We wondered if we got the right piece. We made it anyway, and the flavor was really good. I think it was just an end or side piece, so it was most likely still what we ordered just appearance wise would not have had the same impact as the description and photo. Overall, we really liked the taste of what we ordered so we have ordered from them a few more times. We followed up with more burgers, and have also since tried the pastured beef tri-tips, T Bone Primal Hog Pork Chops, and the chicken thighs. The tri-tip was delicious and they say it was sourced from Avenales Ranch on California's Central Coast. The pork chops didn't have the classic T-Bone look (the BF wanted them to look like a T-bone steak just pork) but they were bone in and delicious. The chicken thighs also had great flavor and the we were able to get the skin to crisp up at home. We still have some chorizo in the freezer that we need to try, and will definitely order from them again. read more

You can feel good knowing where your food come from. Primal Pastures uses the Permaculture method in raising its chickens and hogs to assure you are getting the cleanest meat possible. They source their beef from a grass fed and finished ranch in Arizona. I just received a Quarter beef order, approximately 75lbs of beef, which arrived frozen solid and vacuum sealed in individual cuts. I cant wait to thaw one out and put on the grill! Sure you can find lower price beef at supermarkets, but you can be sure with primal pastures, you are not getting any hormones, antibiotics or Non GMO grain fed beef. read more

I took my two kids, ages 6 and 9, on the You-Pick tour. The produce tasted amazing and they had so much fun seeing the animals and being able to eat food straight from the plant. This would be a great place to go picnic on a cool day. They have little tables and chairs set up all around and a playground for the kids. There is even a little soccer field and pickle ball court. Can't recall how I found this company but I'm so glad I found it. I've placed at least 4 orders through Primal Pastures (PP) and have been totally satisfied thus far. I've bought their chicken wings, ribeye steaks, bacon/bacon ends, ground chicken and their seafood - wild cod and canned wild Coho salmon. The bacon is something I'm hooked on buying - I can actually taste the difference in this bacon compared to what I bought at grocery stores. The delivery is prompt and everything arrives cold with no issues. I've heard about the benefits of buying meat and other protein from farms and I am a believer!
