I thought it was definitely worth it until these guys blew it in the customer service department. I was spending roughly $ 1200 per month consistently. Now if you had a business relationship with a customer where you are making that profit consistently wouldn't you want to provide good customer service if the customer had one complaint in 6 months? Also keep in mind that your meal prep delivery business is loaded with competition. So what was my complaint? Well I left town and decided to put the delivery on hold for a week. Someone screwed up on their end and they still delivered. Not only did the delivered food sit and rot on my front porch for a week, but they made a 2nd delivery on day 7 so there were 2 weeks worth of meal preps when I got home on day 8. When I got home I called them and told them what happened and asked them why they did not pickup the food when they arrived 7 days later if they still had me on schedule? They said they have no record of me putting it on hold to begin with. And that all they do is deliver and pickup empty bags!! Lmfao. So I said what the hell do you do? Just deliver food and collect money with no concern for your customer's well being since you notice rotting food and do not say or do amything sbout it? They still refused to give me a refund and they lost my business forever.

Every Friday they offer their crispy pork bánh mì, so I ordered that, along with the combination, and the BBQ pork. Everything was delicious. The bread was crispy with the perfect balance of chew and softness. I always ask for extra butter and pâté. I'm usually not a fan of pâté since it can taste a bit too funky sometimes for me, but theirs was very good. I also wanted to try their spicy sauce, so I asked for it on the side. It had the perfect level of heat, about medium, and I really enjoyed dipping my sandwich into it. I reality enjoyed their egg Vietnamese coffee, and their winter melon tea with lychee jelly too.

Vinh's Banh Mi runs out of a legit licensed home-kitchen near the Temecula Duck Pond, no dine-in, just order ahead and swoop in like you planned your life. Prices are extremely reasonable. Don't believe me? Check out their website!!! I've had it 2 weeks straight (no shame), and it hits every time. The tofu banh mi? Elite!!! Perfect for vegetarians!! The bread is fresh, crispy, and big enough to make you feel like you made a responsible life choice. Veggies are super fresh, the pickled carrots and radish bring the tang, cilantro keeps it classy, and the jalapeños show up with just enough attitude... but I like my food fighting back so I ask for extra jalapeños!! Pro tip: Ask for a side of the spicy sauce for extra kick with flavor!! They make their bread from scratch and it is absolutely delish!! Then I did what any reasonable person does. I ordered more food for "the household" (aka me but with witnesses). The family taste test crowned the chicken banh mi as the winner. Overall, 5 stars!! Would happily enable this habit again. Met the owners and they are extremely pleasant and friendly!! Go support this local family-owned gem!!

We joined the Inland Empire CSA about 6 months ago. It's improved my life in so many ways! I'll…read morestart with some general reasons why CSA's are awesome: 1. Getting a veggie box of whatever is in season forces me to taste and cook with ingredients that I wouldn't have tried otherwise, and it has been nothing but creative goodness. 2. My diet is much healthier. I know the produce won't last if I don't eat it, so I incorporate something from the weekly box in almost every meal. 3. It feels so good to know where my produce is coming from, and to be supporting local farmers. There is something cool about knowing your feioja didn't come to you on a boat from New Zealand...it's right from Temecula. I could probably visit the tree if I wanted to! 4. It's all organic and totally affordable. Expense is the main reason I don't buy organic and I love that this lets me afford it. Why is the Inland Empire CSA so good, you ask? 1. Affordability. I looked into a bunch of CSA's and this was by far the best bang for your buck. The quality of the produce is great and our half pledge is enough veggies for 3 people each week. It turns out to be $9/person per week, and it's basically all the organic fruit and veggies you could ask for. 2. Service. The people that run the CSA are very friendly and send out a weekly newsletter with updates from the farms that grow the food, a list of box contents (so helpful when you get something you've never seen before) and recipes! Super responsive via email and all-around great. 3. Locations! They have pick up spots all around San Diego county. I bet there is one within 15 minutes of your house. All in all, I really think everyone should try a CSA. It's been a wonderful experience and I'm looking forward to renewing in January. I absolutely love being a member. Check it out!

Ever since joining I have been totally impressed with the quality of produce I've been receiving. Everything is so fresh and in season. I feel good not eating food that's been imported from thousands of miles away. Being a member now for over six months I've tried many foods I've never had the opportunity to eat before like dragon fruit, passion fruit & jujubes. Gary, the person who is responsible for growing the food seems extremely knowledgeable about current sustainable growing practices and the re mineralization of the soil so everything is peaking with nutrients. You can't go wrong with providing yourself and your family with the healthiest food possible and the Inland Empire CSA will definitely help you do that.
