I've been ordering from Meal Prep Sunday for 3 weeks now and they are honestly great. The food selection is great and the food taste is solid. I microwave mine due to restricted time so taste is 7.5-8/10. Im sure heating it on the stove would make it a bit better. I LOVE their juices though. I drink them pre workout and give me raw/clean energy. Overall it helps me stay on track and I love that they provide all the macros and you can keep everything tracked on the app they offer. I will say its a little pricey but they do offer weekly rewards for continuing to be a customer which is awesome. I like that they deliver it on time and in a nice cooler bag with an ice pack everytime in case Im not home right away to put them away. Tons of variety to choose from. They have many ways you can save by doing simple reviews, posting on your story, sending in photos of your meals etc. Good social media presence with live testimonials and an excellent first time customer discount. CON: They do need to improve their communication as far as delivery and account changes. I will talk to 2-3 reps, and I would not see it reflected in my account or I would have a delivery truck be on its way to me on the wrong day. I've canceled my subscription to this company because of the absolute lack of customer service and disrespect from this company. Now I'll tell you the good with the bad... Most of the meals are pretty good. There was a couple of them that were kind of awful but largely I enjoy the food. The bad is constant notifications. Your phone never stops blowing up because they want to tell you some minute little detail that you don't need. Most importantly, and the most egregious offense is that I suspended the service for one week essentially put it on pause, the food showed up anyways, despite having an email confirmation that the service was suspended for this week. They just kept closing the tickets. I got disrespect from the customer service reps when I called in, and they would not credit the week back despite sending me confirmation that I was on pause for the week. They would do nothing to assist. I was forced to dispute the charge with my credit card company and cancel the service. Do not order from this company. The food's OK but the customer service is not worth the hassle. When things go wrong that's OK. I'll judge your company by their resolution in this company issue resolution skills are nonexistent. Because you won't allow me to reply directly to the owner's response I will edit my comments here. The owners apologetic but offers no resolution. Does not take ownership of the issue with refunds credits discounts or anything just sorry. Oh well usually it works. Still unacceptable. Again apologies but no action. I understand your policy, but I have a email that confirms you accepted the pause, including dates and times. You accepted the paused week yet somehow this is my fault. Do the right thing. This is starting to really aggravate the hell out of me do the right thing goddamnit The business acumen of this company is lacking. These guys are willing to lose a customer generating $5200 in an annual revenue over $100 mistake. Furthermore, MPS says they will give me the credit when I take down this yelp review. I mean, yelp should take notice of this because buying removal of bad reviews is clearly un unethical business practice Tanner by the way there's 17 Tanners that work there they all hide behind that name for some reason... Keeps calling this an angle inferring that I'm some kind of a con- artist! Some more idea with this company the more I realize they are just shady and poor business people. I used this service for over two years, ordering between 5 and 7 meals a week, and had good experiences with their customer service up until this summer. They have clearly taken a turn for the worse, and have abandoned their loyal customers. For the previous two years, they had a loyalty rewards program where by you could get a free week of meals for having 6 months (26 weeks) of orders. I redeemed a free week in July 2024 and in December 2024. However, around the end of August, I'd earned another free week, but I went on vacation and when I returned, they'd revamped the reward program and my pending reward was nowhere to be found. I couldn't imagine that they'd steal something from me, at least not without appropriate notice, e.g. "use any rewards by Aug 31 or they will be voided". No--instead, their "Issue Resolution Center" insisted that it was a "one time only" reward, and I'd used mine in December. I was pissed, and getting no where, and went to cancel the service over this deceptive behavior, but when I went to cancel, it told me if I stayed, I'd get a PERMANENT 10% discount (see screenshots), so I accepted the award and hoped that perhaps I could get elevated to someone who could respect the value of a long term customer and of doing the right thing. So when their "Client Satisfaction Manager" Sabrina texted me asking if the issue was resolved to my satisfaction, I stated it wasn't, and provided the screen shots below to prove I'd redeemed the award more than once, and that I would like my free week of meals to be honored. After going back and forth, I was told they would offer me just "two free meals" or "five juices" as a gesture of goodwill. After claiming that even the CEO was aware of my situation, and he wouldn't grant me the reward I had already earned. When my order went through, I noticed my 10% permanent discount was missing and I was showing the normal charge for 5 meals, no indication of either 2 free meals (either as monetary credit or additional meals), and I opened a new ticket to ask them to verify that the 2 meals I'd been promised in text from the Client Satisfaction Manager would be applied and that my 10% would be applied. They responded in a way that made it sound like it would all be sorted out soon. When I received my order on Sunday, I had SEVEN meals instead of the five I ordered. I didn't want additional meals added to my order, and when I reached out to CSM Sabrina about this, she lamely apologized for any confusion but it was never a "meal credit" it was always "free meal" which is confusing, she admits. And so rather than credit me the cost of the two meals I paid for, the doubled down on keeping me dissatisfied, and then I told her to cancel my account. She warned me that my "10% discount" would not be something I could get back if I signed up again. No worries, I'm not coming back. But then, shortly thereafter, the Issue Resolution Center, which had previously stated that my 10% discount would be credited to me in a few business days, said that they would not be crediting me because they already gave me two free meals. Not ANYWHERE was I told that accepting the free meals would negate my PERMANENT discount of 10%. So here's my story and fair warning to you--don't expect them to do the right thing, they are managed by a team that definitely doesn't believe in customer loyalty, nor the timeless business adage that the customer is always right. I am so glad I found Meal Prep Sunday! I just recently started making lifestyle changes, including eating healthier and exercising, and these meals have been a lifesaver! The food is very delicious and tastes like home cooking. I only want this service occasionally since we mostly cook our meals at home. Their meals are tasty and proportionate and super macro functional so it makes it easy for my routine. This is my complaint, They make it super difficult to cancel or suspend subscription. There is an endless loop you're sent on, that I believe is intentional, that only allows you suspend temporarily or get a charge for fee cancellation. There's too many infuriating details to note here so I'll spare them. I called cs and it wasn't until I sent them screen shots of the endless loop, as I was on the phone with them, that I got a mediocre resolution. They still are charging me a 20% cancellation fee which in my opinion I shouldn't have to pay! I also initially had asked them to cancel my subscription from their end since I couldn't, they said that wasn't possible. Stay clear of this meal prep service. I canceled the service and they still billed my credit card $103 the following week. Meals are sent on Sunday and I learned of the billing on Wednesday. When I reached out to them they said 5 days notice was not enough time to cancel. It is, of course, enough time. Their resolution desk is a series of text messages to different numbers that all say to send it to someone else. Even the pop-up help screen on their web site does the same thing, all saying to send it to someone else... Pros: Can't deny that the meals are good. I recently started with Meal Prep Sunday Service and I'm impressed. I've tried a lot of meal prep places diets including shakes and intermittent dieting, but this one has honestly been the easiest for me to stick with. I've had SO many meals I loved from my selection. The pecan pie pancake, the chicken & chorizo tacos and the chicken biriyani were my favorites. It was such a good comfort-meal moment without wrecking my calories for the day. Their pressed juices are also surprisingly good. I usually brace myself for healthy juice taste, but these were actually delicious and something I'd grab even on their own. I've also been taking the AM/PM supplements they offer, and they've helped me stay consistent. The AM supplements give a clean boost, nothing crazy, just enough to feel awake, focused, and not dragging through the day. And the PM ones help wind me down so I actually sleep and recover instead of staring at the ceiling. Together, they just make staying on track feel a lot easier. Food is good. Delivery rarely has issues. I have used them for years. They have a "Loyalty Program," but once you are loyal for a certain period, you no longer get the rewards.
