I'm ngl 10/10 goes for quality of food no matter what, because I love the use of organic fruits and veggies, no seed oils, and a solid tasting meal at a reasonable price to not even cook. Plus, they're local and use local farmers. So, that's a plus. 1 minor thing is just I wish I could select what meals I wanted in my subscription instead of chef's choice, because I personally just WISH I could order some meals more than once because of how delicious they were. read more

Last week, I decided to give Farm Fresh Meals a try as I'm always on the go, and I've been looking for a healthy meal alternative to going out to eat a lot. However I was very disappointed with these meals. First off, they have a form you fill out and it shows you all of the meals. Looking at the photos, I was excited to try the food. But before I even got to seeing my meals, the wrong meals were delivered to me. I had to call the support and they assured me that the driver would come back and swap them out, a bad start to my experience. Following that, when I finally got the food I was very disappointed. The food looks nothing like the photos, and not only that but it is extremely bland, but not only that, all of the lean protein I ordered was extremely dry, as once I reheated it it seemed like it was cooked too much. To give them the credit though, the pork wasn't dry, however that's not saying much given its easy to keep that from being dry. I've tried multiple competitors in regards to meal prep and this is the most expensive meal prep company I've ever tried, but it's considerably worse than the others in San Diego. read more

So I had a not so great encounter with this company. There was some confusion when I signed up and I was getting double charged. They assured me this would be fixed immediately and have nothing to worry about. But they didn't. Called them again, same thing. So I had to email them multiple times until they finally fixed it. After this I decided to cancel my subscription as a whole, where I was assured I wouldn't be charged again, but I was still charged. I reached out to the owner and he was pretty hostile. See attached images.. They also claim their meals are GF but I'm pretty sure we found gluten in one of them.m Update for everyone: Jeff is lying. I had contacted him multiple times and he kept forgetting. He is very disorganized and hostile when you message him. Also Jeff, I had frozen the meals buddy.. Then I spoke with health officials first, and then contacted you once we had a case. I'm not sure what's going on in your personal life but I've never seen a business owner get so angry over a customer trying to cancel their subscription. read more

I never thought I'd ever say this...BUT Mondays are quickly becoming my FAVORITE day!!! My meals are delivered at just about the same time every week and it gives me such a boost of happiness to open my cooler bag to see the deliciousness in store for the week. I have searched HIGH AND LOW for a dairy free, gluten free, clean oils, high quality meat and vegetable meal service and NOONE BUT THESE GUYS GET IT! Every meal cooks in 2 minutes. Highly recommend for anyone on a specialty diet. This has made my days SO much more enjoyable and I'm grateful every day that this company exists! I've been searching for years. read more

If you're here and reading these reviews, I hope it's because you are about to make your own and have experienced the magic they provide! First the delivery is to your door, I live in a gated building and it was seamless, I received a picture of the meals first thing in the morning as promised. Then the meals are cold and on ice, labeled and perfectly packed. A variety of meals, pan chicken, lamb, chicken enchiladas, gluten free stroganoff.Every meal is balanced and perfectly cooked and seasoned. If you have the time, reheat in a pan with a little oil, if not the microwave takes two minutes. I have no excuses or desire to eat any other meals. I look forward to each one. YUMM read more

The food smelled and tasted more like good restaurant meals compared to two other food services I used before. For the most part the quantity was good and I didn't feel unsatisfied as I had with other services. I must eat the salmon dishes within the first two days of delivery because by the third day it tasted a little fishy. Maybe some tasty sauce for the protein in the meals because a little dry. I added tarter to the salmon dinner because of the dryness. read more

ANOTHER 5 STAR REVIEW!!! ---------------- You can always tell when a business or restaurant is directly managed and run by the owner. In this case, the owner  is Jeff, who is simply amazing! He is who you talk to when you call customer service. The Service, delivery and quality of his food is unprecedented! Jeff's organic, locally sourced ingredients and attention to  variety and taste make his meals a delight! The meals  we can now provide for our  elderly family member have made him healthier and happier as he has amazing choices. Farm Fresh takes away the stress of meal prep for him and allows him to remain independent, which is so very important. Thank you Jeff, for your Vision and your quality!! read more

I've used quite a few meal services over the years but none as good as Farm Fresh Meals. The portions are generous and always tasty. So happy I found this company. read more

I've been using Farm Fresh Meanls for a couple of months now after looking for a meal delivery service to try as my husband and I have new hobs that don't give us time to cook every night. I've been very happy with the service for a number of reasons. These make FFM stand out from other services: 1. You can choose the meals you want each week, including how many. They offer a subscription, but we have changing needs every week, plus my husband is a little picky about his meals. Does it cost a little more to buy a la carte? Yes, but only a few dollars. 2. Lots of different choices that change every week. I get very bored, but I haven't been yet. Lots of variety to choose from. I also love how many options three are, plus with two delivery days a week there are twice as many options each week. 3. Excellent portion sizes. These are full meals, you won't go hungry. 4. Delicious meals. The one small drawback isany times I find their sides under-seasoned. Mains are always spectacular. So it means I have to add a bit of salt. I would prefer if the entire meal was tasty and delicious, but it's not a deal breaker at all because the main course is always very, very good. 5. Healthy. I like how the calories and macros are thought out. You can also adjust each meal to paleo or keto if you like those trends, but I prefer the way they come. 6. I don't know how they do it, but I consistently get my delivery first thing in the morning, at the start of the time window. Overall, I love this meal service. I also love how it all comes in a bag with ice packs that you leave out the next week because they take them, sanitize them, and reuse them, so not much to throw away. Obviously the containers the food comes in will get thrown away, but there's no way to avoid that with any service. I highly recommend Farm Fresh Meals! read more

I am so grateful I found Farm Fresh meals! I am a very busy, health conscious mom of two littles that hasn't had time to cook and doesn't trust food from outside sources easily. I have always looked for the freshest and highest quality ingredient meals that are handled/cooked responsibly. Not only are Farm Fresh meals all that, but the meals are also exceptionally delicious - my compliments to their chef! Their delivery services are also very convenient. All meals are delivered before the start of my busy day on Monday and are easy to heat up in their microwave safe container. They also provide excellent customer service. I had an issue with a couple of my meals and Rola was prompt in responding and provided a very satisfactory resolution. I also love that I am supporting a local farm. I cannot recommend Farm Fresh Meals enough! read more

After trying several meal prep companies I am elated to have found the very best at farm fresh meals! Where to start? First of all the variety is perfect. Some companies have too little variety, while some have too much variety. With Farm Fresh meals it is literally the perfect amount of variety where you have a great selection and get to try different things but also get to see your favorite meals come back around to you in good time. Also the meals are absolutely delicious! I have never had a meal that I did not like. Health-wise they can't be beat. Every meal has all of your macros spelled out clearly for you as well as every single ingredient. No seed oils! All organic! No bullshit! They also offer a delivery service which is incredible. Save your time and money and start with these guys! You can try another company if you would like but I guarantee you you will be disappointed and/or settling for something that is way less than what Farm Fresh Meals offers!! read more

I did the 4 meals subscription plan. 3 out of the 4 meals were always flavorless and hard to finish. By the time I got to my fourth meal, it was already smelling spoil and inedible. Meals come with less meat and a lot of broccoli to make it look like a lot. I'm going to try my luck somewhere else. read more

I ordered Farm Fresh Meals all the way from Massachusetts! I made a mistake on my order and Jeff was super responsive. Today, when they delivered to Dana Point, my parents front gate would not let them in bc my dad didn't answer his phone. I quickly emailed Jeff and he sent the driver back. Super responsive at 6am! Aside from the outstanding customer service, my mom was very impressed with how everything was packed and how delicious the food looked. She is not easily impressed so this is a huge win! I can't say enough positive things about Farm Fresh Foods. I hope my parents will continue to enjoy and support this business! I know I'm will recommend them over and over again! Thanks Jeff!! read more

I cannot rate this establishment based on personal experience. I sent my in laws food delivery from Northern California to their home in La Jolla on Father's Day. My in laws reported they felt the food was fair and portions lacking. However I did not taste or see the food myself so I can only rate customer service ! When the owner heard that my in laws weren't impressed with the meals the owner called me to invite me to try their food during our next visit to Southern California. What excellent customer care. I wish farm fresh well and hope they succeed during these trying times . I hope to try your meals someday when travel is safe again... covid19 is still at large. read more

I should have been suspicious about all the recent 5-star reviews. I suspect they might be fake reviews because the food quality is very poor or maybe people don't have standards anymore? The pork tenderloin was overcooked and it was very difficult to finish because it also tasted horrible. The potatoes in that dish also tasted strange; I can't pin-point why, but as someone who never turns down any potatoes, I couldn't even finish it. The beef teriyaki was cooked rare (which is fine) except the meat was very stringy and tough to chew (a sign of poor quality meat). Again, I couldn't finish this dish either. The chicken in their salad reminds me of Tyson's pre-made chicken breast (with the fake "grill marks"), and it also tasted like Tyson's chicken breast. Very poor quality meat (yet again). The only decent dish I ordered was the Wild Isle salmon cakes, but even that is farmed salmon. Even if Wild Isles salmon is the "gold standard" that every farmed salmon is measured against, it's still FARMED salmon. Wild caught is always the way to go, and Target sells wild caught salmon for $20 a bag for several fillets (which you can cook and make into salmon burgers). Overall, the meal prep dishes here are expensive for the very poor quality of food. I paid a hefty price for being lazy, and I regret trying this place because I wasted $$$$ on inedible food because I couldn't finish any of the meals I ordered! read more

I have to say that I am just SOOO grateful that I have found Farm Fresh Meals! I just moved to San Diego and I needed to find a meal prep service FAST! I looked all around here on Yelp and Google and when I went to their website; I saw how EASY it was to order AND how fast! (I had found them on a Thursday night and as long as I ordered before noon on Friday; I could have my meals delivered by THAT Monday! woo hoo!) So I made my order and Monday morning; I woke up and my food was right at my door! How nice it was to just wake up to meals! Then when it was time for lunch - I tried one of the meals.... it was a Teriyaki Chicken Thigh lunch and MMMYYYY word! When I tell you that chicken tasted like my mama had JUST cooked it 15 minutes ago! It was SO juicy and tender! I literally ate it for lunch and dinner until it was gone! And then I was SAD when I finished them all! However; I did have a Turkey and Bellpepper meal as well and that was JUST as good!! I just now put in my 3rd order for next week and I cannot WAIT! Their food tastes SOO fresh - it literally doesn't taste like "meal prep", you know what I mean? It's truly so good! And I really love that they come straight to my home, so I don't have to do anything but wake up on Monday, warm up my food, and eat! Plus, I've already started losing weight in just the 3 weeks I've been eating their meals! I also have more energy too - which is a big deal for me! So I'm truly VERY grateful for this service; I'll totally recommend you to all of my friends! Also; I've had the pleasure of speaking with Jeff a few times and he really is SO friendly! Customer service is SO big to me, so I just loooovee to support companies who truly love and appreciate their customers. You definitely have a loyal customer in me! THANK YOU for running SUCH an amazing business! Also EDIT: The portion sizes!! SERIOUSLY! Soo good! I eat a LOT and that's been my biggest problem in the past with other companies. The portions were too small but Farm Fresh? OH the perfect size! read more

I simply want to express my gratitude for your providing well-balanced, wholesome, organic foods for our consumption. You could teach a great many people on healthy eating. I only wish you were here when we were desperate for foods my fading Mother had the opportunity to be tempted with. You are a blessing, and a tremendous respite for myself personally in the situation in which I find myself. I am accustomed to feeding myself and never eating "out". After all, Mom made manicotti to osso buco to stuffed veal to lasagna to stuffed cabbage; etc. We didn't need restaurant food. And I've been eating "clean" for decades now. Yes, I miss the manicotti! Thank you Jeff. read more

Starting off 2022 by doing Whole30 and I'm so glad I have Farm Fresh Meals to lean on. Whole30 can involve a lot of meal prepping and cooking, so FFM is great to have in the fridge for when I just don't have the energy to cook. I planned Whole30 back in December and took into account FFM; so far they've been making this month-long journey so much easier. FFM have been a staple in our household for about a year now and we're happy to keep supporting this local meal prep company. read more

We discovered Farm Fresh Meals last year, and I've been hooked ever since. They have a great variety of dishes, and each week's menu has several items that sound and taste great. It's so nice to not have to worry about cooking or going out several times a week, and the portions and prices are both fair. Will continue to use, and highly recommend to anyone in the area. Would be nice if there was a pick up option, but definitely not a big deal. read more

Fantastic service, quality meals at a great price! I have tried many other meal prep services in the past and I can say FFM has been the best so far. Meals: the keto meals I've been getting are nothing short of delicious and assorted, which has not been my experience with other companies. Cost: I have not seen any other company offer this competitive of a price point per meal anywhere else, even the larger nationwide most popular services can't match. Service: Jeff the owner has been nothing but exceptional, extremely responsive, helpful and accommodating of my needs. Thanks Jeff! Delivery has also been on time and perfectly packed. If you are unsure or concerned about the cost, I have done my own meal prep in the past and it's absolutely not worth it. When you put together the groceries cost, time spent cooking/prepping and let's not forget that you will not me be making delicious assorted meals, this service is a no-brainer. Sticking to a diet can be difficult, specially if you are starting. When you don't have to think about your next meal, it makes it very easy to follow with your diet and accomplish your weight goals. read more

I signed up for this service several months ago and love having it to supplement my cooking--especially on busy work days. Can't believe I hadn't done this before now, I was driving on 101 and saw their billboard and thought hmm, perhaps I'll give it a try. And seriously glad I did, I'd tried a couple other meal thingys and never was too impressed with them, either it wasn't enough food, it came with meals I didn't like, or just didn't taste that great. This one solves all those problems. This biggest thing is I am actually satisfied when I finish one of the meals, it's not like it's enormous but definitely enough for me. The other part I'm happy about is I haven't had a bad one yet, they're all so tasty and since you get to pick them it makes it that much better. So happy I found these guys and that they don't make you subscribe and sign up for crap meals you won't like, you pick it and they deliver, doesn't get much better than that! read more

My parents got me a gift card to the service to give it a try. I was blown away by the quality and taste of the meals. This is definitely not just some gross frozen meal program. Everything is quality, fresh and VERY delicious. Feels like I hired a private chef to start preparing all of my meals. Keeping my subscription, my wife and daughter love the meals too! Also, customer support is as good as it gets. I talk to the same person (shout out to Jeff!) when I have questions and they are extremely responsive. You really don't see companies like this anymore. read more

I have been a customer for 7 months and have to say they are the best. Forget Freshly and those other services, order local with Farm Fresh Meals! I tried Farm Fresh a month ago. My hubby & I have always cooked, but I eat gluten free and with limited ingredients for health reasons. He can eat anything...but we both enjoy their meals. I love they use avo & olive oils and little dairy. We can add extras to the meals if we want and we easily heat them up in foil in the oven. I am now spoiled and only cook twice a week. BUT, I still bake my GF goodies so, I am soliciting Farm Fresh to add desserts to the menu. How many of you would like that? Please let them know so I can enjoy more goodies:) Thanks Farm Fresh for being an answer to prayer! Pam Z read more

If you're looking for a healthy meal prep service that doesn't give you the ick, Farm Fresh Meals is the way to go! I've tried quite a few different meal prep services and Farm Fresh Meals is by far the best of all of them. The ones I tried in the past have were super oily, incredibly boring (plain veggies & chicken), or didn't meet my dietary restrictions. Farm Fresh not only gave me my time back, but they also provide quality meals that I enjoy. The specific meals vary from one week to the next, they're healthy but not boring, and they fit my dietary restrictions (lactose & gluten intolerant). Great healthy meals. A bit pricey, but the portions are great. If you don't like to meal prep yourself, this is the way to go.

I just tried my first order as I've been on a junk food travel bender. WOW I am so impressed with the quality of this food, my husband is very picky and also said it was great. While it's not cheap, none of these meal services will be if any good. It's expensive to buy and make and they need to make money. I will be increasing my order for hubs and I and keeping my subscription for a bit a luxury health gift to myself! I would highly recommend this service if you are looking for a gluten free meal delivery option. I tried freshly which was disgusting and inedible, Veestro was decent but all frozen, this is much higher quality and very reasonable when you compare to something like territory foods. I did the chefs choice option because I am only gluten free and like the variety but I think they have keto, paleo, and whole30 and you can specify what you don't want. I also got a phone call to confirm my preferences. read more

The food was okay, meat was over cook in different meals. The meals don't have much favor either. I give this company 1 start because of my bad experience with the company and directly with Jeff, the owner. The 1st time they made a mistake and sent me 5 meals on Monday when I had ordered 10. The owner sent me the remaining 5 meals on a Thursday which is the next delivery day. He offered me a refund for the inconvenience so that was good service till then. I wanted to continue giving them a chance. I requested to have my meals delivered starting at 8am because my work opens at 8am. He didn't guarantee that would be possible, okay whatever I said. He told me to text him directly to his cellphone if I had any questions or concerns. On my second week with their services, lots of mistakes occurred. 1st they delivered it early AM. When I got to work at 8, I waited till 10:30am and I went downstairs to check and the bag was outside which has been sitting who knows how long. I was upset because I didn't even get a notification via text as they did the first week. They even sent me a picture the first time. This time I didn't get anything. I text Jeff but didn't hear from him all morning. When I went to check the meals, there were three containers with the same label but with the wrong food. This got me again upset because of their lack quality control. I rely on wanting to know my macro nutrition and this made me not trust them. So I quit them. I later asked for my refund, which they did gave me a refund. But when I text Jeff about sending someone to pick up the bag, he was rude and said he doesn't offer pick up services and to throw them away. Which in contradicts his policy because he clearly states on his website to promote sustainability and the company reuses their bags. Anyways, also, to add up, many times I tried to open the container, the lead is so hard to open that they break in peace's and get mixed up with the food. See images read more
