My meals are delivered at just about the same time every week and it gives me such a boost of happiness to open my cooler bag to see the deliciousness in store for the week. So I had a not so great encounter with this company. There was some confusion when I signed up and I was getting double charged. They assured me this would be fixed immediately and have nothing to worry about. But they didn't. Called them again, same thing. So I had to email them multiple times until they finally fixed it. After this I decided to cancel my subscription as a whole, where I was assured I wouldn't be charged again, but I was still charged. I reached out to the owner and he was pretty hostile. See attached images.. They also claim their meals are GF but I'm pretty sure we found gluten in one of them.m Update for everyone: Jeff is lying. I had contacted him multiple times and he kept forgetting. He is very disorganized and hostile when you message him. Also Jeff, I had frozen the meals buddy.. First the delivery is to your door, I live in a gated building and it was seamless, I received a picture of the meals first thing in the morning as promised. Then the meals are cold and on ice, labeled and perfectly packed. A variety of meals, pan chicken, lamb,chicken enchiladas, gluten free stroganoff.Every meal is balanced and perfectly cooked and seasoned. The food smelled and tasted more like good restaurant meals compared to two other food services I used before. For the most part the quantity was good and I didn't feel unsatisfied as I had with other services. I must eat the salmon dishes within the first two days of delivery because by the third day it tasted a little fishy. Maybe some tasty sauce for the protein in the meals because a little dry. I just recently tried Farm fresh meals and i'm blown away at how yummy everything has tasted so far. I was ordering meals from a different company but decided to switch to farm fresh because they don't use seed oils and use more local produce and organic when they can. I don't mind paying a little more for higher quality but to my surprise it also is even tastier than the other place I used to order from which was decent but this is definitely more my vibe with ingredients and taste. The flavor of the mashed potatoes, the way the meat is cooked (so tender and juicy), and the delicious veggies. I am so grateful I found Farm Fresh meals! I am a very busy, health conscious mom of two littles that hasn't had time to cook and doesn't trust food from outside sources easily. I have always looked for the freshest and highest quality ingredient meals that are handled/cooked responsibly. Not only are Farm Fresh meals all that, but the meals are also exceptionally delicious - my compliments to their chef! Their delivery services are also very convenient. All meals are delivered before the start of my busy day on Monday and are easy to heat up in their microwave safe container. They also provide excellent customer service. I've been using Farm Fresh Meanls for a couple of months now after looking for a meal delivery service to try as my husband and I have new hobs that don't give us time to cook every night. I've been very happy with the service for a number of reasons. These make FFM stand out from other services: 1. You can choose the meals you want each week, including how many. They offer a subscription, but we have changing needs every week, plus my husband is a little picky about his meals. Does it cost a little more to buy a la carte? Yes, but only a few dollars. 2. Lots of different choices that change every week. I get very bored, but I haven't been yet. Lots of variety to choose from. I also love how many options three are, plus with two delivery days a week there are twice as many options each week. 3. Excellent portion sizes. These are full meals, you won't go hungry. 4. Delicious meals. The one small drawback isany times I find their sides under-seasoned. Mains are always spectacular. So it means I have to add a bit of salt. I would prefer if the entire meal was tasty and delicious, but it's not a deal breaker at all because the main course is always very, very good. 5. Healthy. I like how the calories and macros are thought out. You can also adjust each meal to paleo or keto if you like those trends, but I prefer the way they come. 6. I don't know how they do it, but I consistently get my delivery first thing in the morning, at the start of the time window. Overall, I love this meal service. I also love how it all comes in a bag with ice packs that you leave out the next week because they take them, sanitize them, and reuse them, so not much to throw away. Obviously the containers the food comes in will get thrown away, but there's no way to avoid that with any service. I highly recommend Farm Fresh Meals! read more

After trying several meal prep companies I am elated to have found the very best at farm fresh meals! Where to start? First of all the variety is perfect. Some companies have too little variety, while some have too much variety. With Farm Fresh meals it is literally the perfect amount of variety where you have a great selection and get to try different things but also get to see your favorite meals come back around to you in good time. Also the meals are absolutely delicious! I have never had a meal that I did not like. Health-wise they can't be beat. Every meal has all of your macros spelled out clearly for you as well as every single ingredient. No seed oils! All organic! No bullshit! They also offer a delivery service which is incredible. I did the 4 meals subscription plan. 3 out of the 4 meals were always flavorless and hard to finish. By the time I got to my fourth meal, it was already smelling spoil and inedible. Meals come with less meat and a lot of broccoli to make it look like a lot. I'm going to try my luck somewhere else. read more

Today, when they delivered to Dana Point, my parents front gate would not let them in bc my dad didn't answer his phone. I quickly emailed Jeff and he sent the driver back. Super responsive at 6am! Aside from the outstanding customer service, my mom was very impressed with how everything was packed and how delicious the food looked. She is not easily impressed so this is a huge win! I should have been suspicious about all the recent 5-star reviews. I suspect they might be fake reviews because the food quality is very poor or maybe people don't have standards anymore? The pork tenderloin was overcooked and it was very difficult to finish because it also tasted horrible. The potatoes in that dish also tasted strange; I can't pin-point why, but as someone who never turns down any potatoes, I couldn't even finish it. The beef teriyaki was cooked rare (which is fine) except the meat was very stringy and tough to chew (a sign of poor quality meat). Again, I couldn't finish this dish either. The chicken in their salad reminds me of Tyson's pre-made chicken breast (with the fake "grill marks"), and it also tasted like Tyson's chicken breast. Very poor quality meat (yet again). The only decent dish I ordered was the Wild Isle salmon cakes, but even that is farmed salmon. Even if Wild Isles salmon is the "gold standard" that every farmed salmon is measured against, it's still FARMED salmon. Wild caught is always the way to go, and Target sells wild caught salmon for $20 a bag for several fillets (which you can cook and make into salmon burgers). Overall, the meal prep dishes here are expensive for the very poor quality of food. I paid a hefty price for being lazy, and I regret trying this place because I wasted $$$$ on inedible food because I couldn't finish any of the meals I ordered! read more

I have to say that I am just SOOO grateful that I have found Farm Fresh Meals! I just moved to San Diego and I needed to find a meal prep service FAST! I looked all around here on Yelp and Google and when I went to their website; I saw how EASY it was to order AND how fast! (I had found them on a Thursday night and as long as I ordered before noon on Friday; I could have my meals delivered by THAT Monday! woo hoo!) So I made my order and Monday morning; I woke up and my food was right at my door! How nice it was to just wake up to meals! Then when it was time for lunch - I tried one of the meals.... it was a Teriyaki Chicken Thigh lunch and MMMYYYY word! When I tell you that chicken tasted like my mama had JUST cooked it 15 minutes ago! It was SO juicy and tender! I literally ate it for lunch and dinner until it was gone! And then I was SAD when I finished them all! However; I did have a Turkey and Bellpepper meal as well and that was JUST as good!! I just now put in my 3rd order for next week and I cannot WAIT! Their food tastes SOO fresh - it literally doesn't taste like "meal prep", you know what I mean? It's truly so good! And I really love that they come straight to my home, so I don't have to do anything but wake up on Monday, warm up my food, and eat! I cannot rate this establishment based on personal experience. I sent my in laws food delivery from Northern California to their home in La Jolla on Father's Day. My in laws reported they felt the food was fair and portions lacking. However I did not taste or see the food myself so I can only rate customer service ! When the owner heard that my in laws weren't impressed with the meals the owner called me to invite me to try their food during our next visit to Southern California. What excellent customer care. Can't believe I hadn't done this before now, I was driving on 101 and saw their billboard and thought hmm, perhaps I'll give it a try. And seriously glad I did, I'd tried a couple other meal thingys and never was too impressed with them, either it wasn't enough food, it came with meals I didn't like, or just didn't taste that great. This one solves all those problems. This biggest thing is I am actually satisfied when I finish one of the meals, it's not like it's enormous but definitely enough for me. I tried Farm Fresh a month ago. My hubby & I have always cooked, but I eat gluten free and with limited ingredients for health reasons. He can eat anything...but we both enjoy their meals. I love they use avo & olive oils and little dairy. We can add extras to the meals if we want and we easily heat them up in foil in the oven. I am now spoiled and only cook twice a week. BUT, I still bake my GF goodies so, I am soliciting Farm Fresh to add desserts to the menu. How many of you would like that? While it's not cheap, none of these meal services will be if any good. It's expensive to buy and make and they need to make money. Wow these meals are really really fresh! The quality is unreal. I had the salmon and it was the best salmon I've ever had! The fish was really fresh and melted in my mouth. The food was okay, meat was over cook in different meals. The meals don't have much favor either. I give this company 1 start because of my bad experience with the company and directly with Jeff, the owner. The 1st time they made a mistake and sent me 5 meals on Monday when I had ordered 10. The owner sent me the remaining 5 meals on a Thursday which is the next delivery day. He offered me a refund for the inconvenience so that was good service till then. I wanted to continue giving them a chance. I requested to have my meals delivered starting at 8am because my work opens at 8am. He didn't guarantee that would be possible, okay whatever I said. He told me to text him directly to his cellphone if I had any questions or concerns. On my second week with their services, lots of mistakes occurred. 1st they delivered it early AM. When I got to work at 8, I waited till 10:30am and I went downstairs to check and the bag was outside which has been sitting who knows how long. I was upset because I didn't even get a notification via text as they did the first week. They even sent me a picture the first time. This time I didn't get anything. I text Jeff but didn't hear from him all morning. When I went to check the meals, there were three containers with the same label but with the wrong food. This got me again upset because of their lack quality control. I rely on wanting to know my macro nutrition and this made me not trust them. So I quit them. I later asked for my refund, which they did gave me a refund. But when I text Jeff about sending someone to pick up the bag, he was rude and said he doesn't offer pick up services and to throw them away. Which in contradicts his policy because he clearly states on his website to promote sustainability and the company reuses their bags. Anyways, also, to add up, many times I tried to open the container, the lead is so hard to open that they break in peace's and get mixed up with the food. See images read more
