And that's the order in which I liked them. The bartender was so nice and he had eyes in the back of his head, because he always seemed to know when I needed something and was right there. I am SO glad that I found this place. It has quickly become my absolute favorite Taco restaurant in Brickell and one of my top 5 all time. Everything is fresh and hot (temp) and the service is always helpful and friendly. I wish I could remember the different servers names but Fernando at the bar is Great. Also, the prices are very fair (especially on Taco Tuesday). A couple of small minuses . . I wish they had a few more craft beer options and the only thing I've been disappointed with was the really tiny shrimp. One of the nearby chain competitors has full on jumbo shrimp in their Tacos and burritos. At least use medium sized or larger shrimp. There are so many places to eat locally. This was just okay. We stopped by for a Friday lunch. Service was quick and friendly. The lunch special wasn't all that special though, because the sign brought us in, but once we sat down, we found out that there were limitations on which tacos could could order for the lunch special. Also, the queso was very very small with the lunch special. Just a tiny cup of queso with some chips. It was a cool little outdoor area. We didn't have drinks, so I cannot speak on those. Found this place randomly walking along Brickell and it was AMAZING, everything from the service to the food. The salsa was incredibly fresh and our waiter made amazing recommendations. The atmosphere was nice for an evening dinner outside and the tacos were so good I didn't even get a picture. Both my friend and I ordered the chicken tacos and they were juice and fresh. I tried the beef,steak, shrimp and fish tacos.... The staff was really nice and knowledgeable about the drinks and also the food. They had the heat game on, good music and a nice vibe. Stopped in while staying in town awaiting our cruise. Small restaurant with ONLY outdoor seating which seems to be somewhat common in this area. They did have a large fan which kept us quite comfortable. I will say that their music choices are definitely inappropriate for children as there was quite a bit of profanity. That being said, the food was well liked by all. My quesadilla was a large size and very tasty. My husband said the Anaheim tacos were really good and had super flavorful toppings. The restaurant is an outdoor smaller area but very cozy. There is music or a sporting game playing. Our server was super helpful in letting us know what is good. We ordered the corn mix with chips and it was MOUTH weathering! It was so delicious and full of flavor. We also ordered the guacamole and chips but the guacamole was very plain and had way to much citrus it didn't have much flavor but our server was so sweet she just swapped it for another corn for us which of course was so nice!! The corn mix is $11 and the guacamole was $13.50 We also ordered the Tijuana tacos (3) for $18 and they were full of flavor. They do not skimp on the meat. Our tacos were filled and so juicy! A classic brickell eat in the sense that the music is too loud, the food just okay, and the service not great. Happy hour deals are good but the offerings are limited. The setup is weird. They have more tables than they can actually fit in the space with people there and servers kept on scolding us that we were creating a fire hazard by standing next to our high top. Music was very loud and my throat hurt from shouting by the end. Fun vibe for late night drinks maybe. Not so much the vibe for happy hour. Brussel sprout tacos are the only vegetarian taco but are not included on the happy hour menu. So no happy hour food for vegetarians. They were pretty good, but I was taken aback by how openly hostile the server was when I was surprised by my bill at the end, having thought these to be part of the $3 taco happy hour deal. On the whole do not recommend. It's pretty par for the course since food options aren't great in this neighborhood, but bad service is a pet peeve and I found all servers I interacted with to be inattentive and a little rude. read more

I had a weird experience here today. I walked from the Brightline to Brickell, surveying all the restaurants to choose my lunch. I chose this one. I sat at the bar and told the bartender, with a big smile and energy, this was my Taco Tuesday. I ordered the mint lemonade which was better than a cocktail. I got the fish taco, beef taco, and chicken taco. They arrived. Looking great. So far so good. I picked the chicken one up and took a bite and the entire thing folded in my hand, as in the hot meat and condiments were all over my hand. My corn tortilla was soft like moist bread. It fell apart. I dealt with it as I was hungry. But then it happened with the beef taco. I wanted to enjoy my food, not spoon it in my mouth like a cave woman. I told the bartender, I think his name was Dan but not sure. I really didn't want to complain but I wanted my food correct. He suggested I get double tortillas. 1. I don't think that would solve the problem. 2. I don't want the extra calories. I'm still getting a mush tortilla. He suggested flour tortillas. Ok great. I sent back the fish and the beef taco. I got back only the beef taco on the flour tortilla. I told him he was missing the fish taco. He shrugged his shoulders like not a care in the world that this is not my order. I'm hungry enough for three. I have money. You sell them. So we had some drama because I pointed out his lack of COMMON SENSE. I sent back two. You ordered only one. My hunger did not change. Finally he facilitated the third taco, but the attitude and the staggered lunch was not a good experience. His attitude sucked as if I don't matter. I had a 2nd drink but I wanted a third that he never offered once we had discourse. Then I put out my card for the bill. I got 3 x $4 tacos = 12 2 x $7 drinks = 14 Total $26. The credit card machine showed $37 and the tip area was open. I intend to only leave the minimum of 15%. But what was $37 so I asked for the check. He put an automatic 20% tip on it. And my $4 tacos, two of them were $5, but ok. The menu didn't indicate this. I questioned it. He waved his hand around like that's standard. #1, if that's how you make tips, you ought to sell me more stuff instead of ignoring me but ok. He said he would remove it after I pointed out how he never told me about it and hoped I was stupid and can't add and would double tip. I pointed out he should act like words I can't type on Yelp. He didn't care. He got zero tip. I hope the owners care more than this bartender dude. read more

Sat there for a minute to enjoy the vibe and decided to get tacos and it was then that I realized this place was a Los Angeles based Cantina(how funny) Cause I had literally had just told the bartender to get my drink and add something to it and my comment was "I'm from LA so just imagine" Haha she said that tells me nothing and I knew why as soon as I was reading the menu Lol Menu has names for the tacos like LA,TJ,SD,HB Bartender probably hears that corny line all the time Im from LA Lol. Anyway Pretty clever for a Miami spot. The ambience is cool you can do date night or you can do a guys and girls night out. It sits right on the Blvd so I'm sure all kinds of different people walk in. Definitely gave me a cheers type of vibe too because some people knew each other's others were new. The LA taco was not it for me but again I know a great Taco. Not that it was bad just wasn't tasty the meat was missing flavor, tenderness and was a little dry. Maybe next time I'll get more lucky.
