We stopped in here bc it had decent reviews. It was a simple vibe. Grab and go. We ordered through their little kiosks and food was quick. The workers seemed nice but little interaction. I got the quesabirria tacos and a mangonada which was divine!

Tacos meat and cheese. It turns out it is that easy to make food that's good and doesn't break the bank. El Primo Ref Tacos does just that. With an interior design that convinces you are in a classic Mexico City taco shop and a menu that is simple yet elegant. The place is nice and has an easy going vibe to it. The people behind the counter are also great and the food comes out pretty quickly. I only wish that the tacos were a little more dressed up with the options to put extra toppings. Defiantly recommend the quesabirria! A quesadilla with meat inside, chicken or birria

We were going to see Marcello Hernandez at the Olympia theater across the street and wanted to grab a quick bite before the show. El Primo came in clutch! It's a quick taco spot right across the street, with a few tables and a delicious inviting smell! We quickly ordered and the food came out freshly made. The guac was so tasty! I had the Quesabirria which was excellent! Only negative was the hot sauce was served cold, but it packed so much heat it more than made up for it. My bf had the Quesatacos and he said they were great, he only wished he'd gotten a few different fillings. All in all we found this on the fly, but will definitely find our way back here.

This is honestly a favorite of mine. The menu is birria only and you won't be disappointed. The food is always delicious and tastes the way birria should. Take a gamble, everything on the menu is good. The atmosphere is casual and clean and never too noisy. And I love that they play spanish music. The staff are always nice, not over the top hospitality but I've never experienced a rude staff member here. I also appreciate that they have a kiosk to order from as well, providing some relief to staff on busy days.

It was after 1am on a Friday night and we were on the search for some good eats. Found this lovely place that is open until 3am. Came here and it was packed!! The food took a really long time to come out (probably 15-20+ minutes) which is a really long time for some tacos, but totally worth the wait! I got 2 tacos dorado, 1 quesataco, and 1 vampiro. It was A LOT of food, I would've been good with just 3 items. They are generous with the meat! I really liked all of them but the vampiro really stole the show, perfectly crispy, flavorful, and loaded! I was the only one in my group to order it and everyone at my table was jealous! Prices here are great, and cheap drinks as well! I will definitely be coming back here again!

I stumbled upon this place while walking around the area, craving some Mexican food. I found this little gem and decided to give it a try. When I arrived, it was empty, but that didn't stop me from staying and I'm so glad I did. The restaurant was spotless, the environment was very calm , and the staff was incredibly welcoming. Two lovely ladies helped me, enthusiastically recommending their favorite dishes. My friend and I decided to go with the quesabirria, and let me tell you, I'm extremely picky when it comes to birria because not everyone gets it right, but this one was amazing. The tacos were loaded with flavorful, tender birria and melted cheese, and they were super filling. I also ordered a Mexican Coke because you can never go wrong with that. I highly recommend checking this place out; the food was absolutely delicious, and I'll definitely be coming back!

The red theme inside is strong with their tables, chairs, menu, and even the refrigerator is red! The service was quick and easy via the tablet or ordering at the counter with a worker. Birriamen: the flavor of the soup was delicious however I wish noodles were not instant ramen. For the price I would not order it again.

We had quesadillas plain and chicken nachos..were sooo good I even ventured and got me a Birriama!! Omg spicy but out of this world. Thanks

The background music ambience was an added touch to the exceptional service and quality of food served up! Was on point! Visiting from California

This taco spot is right on Flagler street diagonally across from Julia & Henry's Eatery. It is on the street that is almost finished with construction and I'm sure will get a lot more traffic. There are different specials Monday - Wednesday. I opted for the $2 taco Tuesday special. My overall opinion was kind of 'meh'. The guacamole didn't taste like there was anything in the container but avocado (no lime zest, onion, tomato) and the chips were quite stale. The tacos themselves appeared very small - more like street tacos - and I was unfortunately craving for more. There wasn't a birria sauce served alongside but a spicy, tangy sauce of which I was a bit confused. The inside is clean and there were many tables for dining in. I am sure would benefit with a salsa bar or water service counter as it was a scorcher of a day. There are many taco Tuesday specials in the neighborhoods of Miami so I may skip this one moving forward.

Absolutely fire tacos. The birria was juicy, packed with flavor, and the tortillas tasted super fresh. The staff was friendly and fast, and the whole vibe felt authentic. One of the best taco spots in Miami, no question. Highly recommend El Primo Red Tacos

I came for the Taco Tuesday deal and tried their beef tacos and margarita. The beef tacos were the only ones on special for Taco Tuesday. I'm normally not a beef guy, but these tacos were pretty good. The meat was tender and flavorful. The service was good great and I got my food fast. It's a very casual place, but a good vibe. The only thing I wish is that more meat options are available for the Taco Tuesday special.

My favorite place to get Birria! The staff was wonderful & the vibe is great! I was truly in shock with how good the food was, it was like I was back home and my grandma was cheffin it up lol

Great prices!! Great service. Great flavors. The menu is small but mighty. It's got a very relaxed atmosphere. Large room with tables and chairs and honestly that's how I like to eat, at ease. You order and then they call your name and boom. So grab a table first. They may fill up quickly. I ordered the quesadilla and it did not disappoint. Perfect amount of cheese and beef. It was cooked perfectly. Nice and soft. It came with a Birria sauce and it was great. I never dipped a quesadilla in a sauce before and it hit the spot. The only con is that because it's in downtown the parking can be very difficult. But there's plenty to do around so it's definitely worth it.

Do they have any taco Tuesday specials?

They have $2 tacos on all tacos, EXCEPT Birria QuesoTacos; (their most famous and delicious tacos) are not part of that promotion on Tuesdays. Each Birria Quesotaco will cost $4-$5 EACH! But definitely worth the drive and bucks! You won't regret it!

The music selection is fire though and I was jamming out the whole time while waiting for my food. I complimented them on the music selection and they mentioned the owner is dominican and puerto rican which explained the great music selection. I was helped out by Adrian and his service was helpful in finding what dishes to order. I took my food to go and it was piping hot, definitely made fresh to order which I enjoyed. The nachos were what I was most eager to try as they are all the rage on social media. They lived up to the hype and that nacho cheese is absolute gold. I love that it's served in a pizza box. It just makes it iconic. It travels well and everything was still hot when I got home. The Al Pastor taco was just okay, nothing to write home about but now the steak burrito was really really good. I love that they don't have rice in their burritos and instead replace it with potatoes, which is absolutely delicious. They give two different types of salsas with your order plus limes and the green salsa is unreal. Add it to everything for a flavor boost! All in all this place is fire and if you're craving nachos, this is definitely the place you should come to get your fix!

My dinner plans changed last minute due to the weather, which was heavily raining and decided on Lolita despite not having reservations. Upon arrival we were instructed to go upstairs where the very young and inexperienced host could not figure out the system and said sorry there was no availability to accommodate us. We left disappointed and while going downstairs I decided to pull uo their booking site to confirm availability. The system reflected several available time slots for dinner. Kudos to the downstairs host that accommodated us immediately once I showed her the system reflected availability. The servers were truly incredible downstairs and I appreciate the very attentive and charming service provided throughout the evening! I ordered a beet salad which was almost perfect but was lacking feta or goat cheese which I highly recommend they consider having in the kitchen. The oxtails tacos were delicious and very filing.
