Absolutely amazing food! We got some delicious tacos that I have been craving since I left. The street seating is nice since it wasn't too busy of a sidewalk around lunch time. The waiter was very nice, quick and great at her job! This was an amazing lunch option after a long travel day!

Okay okay okay. I'm nice, and patient ... to a certain extent ... nice people, but slow service. Felt like I was working with the sloth from zootopia .. love him but darn. The tacos did hit the spot though. The salsas were delicious ! Ambiance is cute and stylish with good music. So overall, if service was a little faster / quicker lol, this would be a solid 4/5

Amazing service and food!! I had the chicken flautas and they were perfectly crispy and paired perfect with the little side salad. I was offered a spicy sauce with my flautas and I was blown away by how delicious and actually spicy the sauce was. I have a high spice tolerance and do not usually find sauces spicy in restaurants but this one blew my mind with the spice and flavor index!! They have an outdoor patio and located walking distance near the beach with extremely affordable prices compared to the surrounding restaurants.

We love it here!!!! Belkis (pictured above) is the best!!! Quesadilla was great. We will be back!

Nice service! Good food that came out quickly. This was the first restaurant I tried when I moved to Miami. It did not disappoint!! The tacos are a bit overpriced BUT they tasted really good!

I saw this place when I was visiting Miami, and surprise surprise, it was Taco Tuesday! They had this bomb deal: 3 tacos of your choice for $12. Started off with a Spicy Passion Fruit margarita. Get it! This was the closest I could get to have real Passion Fruit outside of Maryland, and it was delicious. As for the tacos, I got ordered the Impossible Beef tacos as part of the deal. Juicy, flavorful, and the accompanying sauces were equally great too. Try the paleta's here too! The margarita was so good in fact the server already decided to put another one in. It's funny how the conversation happened: Server: "I put another drink in case you liked it." Me: "Appreciate it! Although I have head to a training in a bit." Server: "Ah no problem, have a second one, and you'll be good to go! Clearly the servers there are more personable than in the DMV. Check it out, if you're looking for something quick and easy!

I came here on a Friday around 6pm because I was in the area. I wasn't looking to drink, but I was hungry. I had a hard time trying to decide what to get because there were plenty of options. I ordered the chicken flautas ($15) and they were decent. Very crunchy, but the portion was a little small. Also, it was pretty hard to eat. The server was nice and attentive. I sat outside and buses kept driving by so keep that in mind. It didn't seem like a lot of seating was inside. Overall, it is a little expensive for the amount of food but I may return.

After getting mentally blissed out from the yoga at South Pointe Park, finding Matilda's Taco Bar brought my belly pretty close to a happy place! It's located right by 4th and Washington, and has plenty of outside seating including a "VIP" area with turf. The inside space is pretty cool too, especially with the bathroom occupying what was the walk-in freezer of the previous tenant! The menu is Tex Mex classics, with a pretty good bar program. Clarissa my waitress was attentive with my meal courses and sharp with her recommendations. Although the chips aren't complimentary they do come with three different salsas: pico de gallo as well both green and red salsas. The chips had a good crisp to them, and the green salsa had a nice sweet heat to it. My mojito was a pretty good cure for the Sunday scaries, and the shredded chicken burrito bowl was keto friendly with a large amount of chicken, and not a lot of rice. It could have used a little more spice though. My cheating flan had just the right amount of the jiggle and wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. Definitely a wonderful spot for a day (or night) on the beach!

Lousy margaritas ($16 each). Little alcohol, tastes like Jose Cuervo margarita mix. Slow service. Do not recommend.

Down the street from Stubborn Seed and around the corner from Carbone, you'll find a cocktail bar mid-block that is so understated it will actually pique your curiosity. Is this place open? What's in there? What's up with that name? Yes, it's open - and very late! Inside, you will find a wide variety of cocktails and a smoky coolness waiting. And the name? Dang! - I forgot to ask. Homework for my next visit. Following an early dinner, the lady and I enjoyed a couple of drinks around 8:30. We were the only ones in the place, which still felt cozy. Learned a lot about the group that owns this spot from our friendly bartenders. Drinks were good, the playlist matched the loungey vibe, and the prices were in line with what you'd expect (gratuity included). Overall, a nice early nightcap. We did pop our head in last year around 10:00 p.m., and the place was ramping up. I've no doubt it's a great scene the later you get.

You know how some restaurants blast music so loud you end up yelling at the table? Not here. The music was at the perfect level where we could actually talk and enjoy each other. Not a single miss. The drinks though? 100 out of 10. Dangerous in the best way. Our waitress, I wish I remembered her name, was incredible. When we arrived we were greeted and promptly seated inside at the back wall in a booth. There was another couple to our left and one or two others across the room at other tables. The couple in the corner who was seat next to us proceeded to talk extremely loud and had several FaceTime calls with their children as if they were in a private location and not a restaurant. Our entire meal consisted of listening to them in the phone and talking so loud to each other and their server we could hear every word! This rude and annoying behavior overshadowed the meal and left us very frustrated and annoyed. If you are going to require certain attire (although several guest came in while we were there who had on shorts and flip flops) and charge very high prices, you should have a cell phone policy in place and redirect guest to step outside or leave if they feel the need to FT their family for 20-30 min. We spent well over $200 on a meal for two and it was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. The enjoyed the food we ordered except for the French onion soup which I sent back. The Burrata Caprese was fresh but could have used a few more tomatoes and my husband really enjoyed his steak. I chose not to order anything once my soup was returned because we wanted to leave as soon as possible. Over all the service was good and most of the food was too. Unfortunately, there are those who'd have no regard for their environment and those around them which makes others experience negative! The manager and severs were aware of what they were doing too as they walked by a few times and looked at them. But failed to intervene and for that they get two stars.
