fav açaí place for years they left a cute little note and it made me so happy. The Nutella is super yummy but sometimes the honey is just enough sweetness

You practically get an entire meal in a bowl- I mean...is there really anything better than that? SoBol has you covered with a few types of Bowls, Smoothies and even Waffle(s). Menu is small with a couple of blueprint items- but I'm sure you can customize anything to your liking ranging in Kids, Regular & Super sizes for the Açaí Bowls. I was a bit doubtful when I saw their unripe Banana display. But in the end, ingredients were very good: fruits were all ripe- even the banana used in my bowl. Had the Regular Original with the Shredded Coconut, diced Strawberries, Granola, etc- which was very good and blended extra thick. Then they topped it off with crumbles of crunchy Granola and a honey drizzle. Score! It's a nice grab and go little spot and service was very pleasant- Thank you! \(~o~)/. And if you want to linger, just scoot in by their small counter. These guys really made it easy for everybody. By the way... I got my Bowl to go and gotta admit, even with several stops I made, my bowl traveled well- because even when I got home, that thing was still intact. North White Plains got what they deserved- with their very own Açaí Bowl spot to boot!!!

I'm always a fan of fast-casual food spots that focus on healthy options. I was messing around on Yelp a few months back and noticed SoBol - it seemed to fit the fast-casual model so I decided to bookmark it. I kept it on the back-burner for the longest until today when I had a chance to go check it out. Located in North White Plains, SoBol doesn't stand out too much from the road but it's located in a small cluster of other businesses which makes it convenient if you're in the area shopping. The location itself isn't big at all - a few stools and the ordering counter make up the retail space. It should be noted that SoBol is a chain - they're mostly clustered in the Northeast (especially on Long Island); this is the sole location in Westchester. I had an idea of what SoBol offered but decided to look at the menu before ordering to see exactly what they had; it mostly consists of bowls, smoothies, and other similar products so perfect for a light breakfast or lunch. One of the employees behind the counter asked if it was my first time and since it was he walked me through the menu, which I thought was a nice touch. I ultimately decided to get their original acai bowl; this contained granola, the acai mix (kind of had a yogurt consistency), strawberries, blueberries, bananas, shredded coconut, and honey. Since I don't like bananas, I substituted pineapple. Overall the bowl was very good - lots of different textures and good flavor. While I was impressed by SoBol, what gets it a fifth star from me was the service. The two employees working were super friendly, took the time to explain the menu, gave some coupons for my next visit, and even made suggestions on custom bowls and smoothies. They were awesome and really made the visit an experience. I really wish this place was in downtown White Plains - I would be here much more often. However, the fresh selections and awesome service will definitely make me a return customer - so you might see me in North WP more often =)

This place has gone downhill since it opened. I had to wait 12 minutes for a regular açaí bowl today and there were four people working behind the counter. The staff was not wearing gloves. Nothing was prepped. I was the only one here when I got here. And, I still had to wait. There were several people who came in after me and I'm sure that they had to wait longer than I did. There are other places to go for açaí bowls in the area. I would come back here.

Got an açaí bowl. Very fresh and delicious. Limited seating, looked like most people take their smoothie or bowl to go

Sobol "bowl", 680+ calories and 80g of sugar!!
    Kevin M.

My co-worker suggested Sobol for lunch as a way to break up the same ole thing we usually get. It was delicious, but I must warn you - pay attention to calories and sugar content. My order was 680+ calories and 80g of sugar (that is like eating 3 snickers bars!!!) I thought it only fruit, but I was clearly mistaken. The container i got was also difficult to eat out of, especially if you wanted to have the granola at the bottom. Usually bowls come in a bowl... sobol puts theirs in what I would describe are won ton soup containers which are not good for getting down to the bottom. Again, it was delicious, fruit was fresh and its a great treat. I would not make it a habit to come here for an every day meal though.

I got a chance to stop by SoBol White Plains today and was really impressed! It's a cute little shop with plenty of parking out front. All of the smoothies are vegan and the pitaya and açaí bowls are vegan as well if you ask for no honey. They use fresh fruit and everything is all natural, the prices were really good for the quality in my opinion. They also carry some vegan friendly cookie dough by laurels butter. I tried the pitaya bowl (small/children's size which was plenty for me) it was super tasty and fresh. My husband got the super green smoothie and we both loved it since it had a nice thick ice cream like texture.

I'm over the moon with this place. I have been internet stalking where to find pink pitya powder. They have both smoothies and bowls. I didn't read the sign that said smoothies ( I was a little excited). They have vegan friendly food. They food seems to be bought locally.

SoBol is amazing and way better than the competition over in Pleasantville. Although they don't have a bunch of crazy concoctions they have exactly what one would look for in a smoothie bowl. The regular sized smoothie traditional acai bowl I ordered cost me $8.97. They also had a kids and large size in addition to this. The fruit was extremely fresh (strawberry, blueberry, banana) and the granola had a nice cinnamon taste to it and it's GLUTEN FREE! I especially liked my bowl because the granola to base ratio was on point! As for the parking it's fairly limited and it will probably be horrible during the warmer days but it's well worth the trek. The inside of the store was extremely clean, they offered some package goodies, and coffee for sale!

My favorite açaí bowl place in White Plains! The classic açaí bowl with added nutella and peanut butter is my favorite! The green bowl is also great!

Finally! A great acai and pitaya bowl place has opened in white plains! Just opened up in Jan 2018, it's a small cozy shop that offers the bowls also in smoothie form. The bowls can be customized w various milks, toppings, seeds. They use their own homemade granola blend that is delicious! They also serve coffee. I just tried their standard acai bowl- very good- similar to what I've tried on the west coast & Hawaii. Good service too. Will definitely be back soon to try the pitaya & expect to frequent this place often when the weather warms.

Such a cute little spot off 22. The acai bowls are always so fresh and there's so many options for fruit and toppings. A really great spot for something quick and healthy!

I'm not really a juice or smoothie person, but I was craving a thirst and that really felt like it would hit the spot (or at least something). There are a couple of smoothie places in WP so I decided to whip out Yelp to see which was the closest. Freckle's Juice was close by so I decided to order from them. First off, I had no idea that this was a Bronx-based business - that made me extra excited to try one of their selections. Browsing the menu, they have a nice variety of smoothies and juices and also guide you as to the benefits of some (immune boost, protein, etc). I was browsing and their Berry Pink stood out. This was one of their monthly specials and had a mix of strawberry, peach, orange, chia seeds, almonds, and coconut water. The smoothie was really good; the flavors worked well together and was still nice and cold even though I ordered delivery. Overall I was really impressed with Freckle's. While I seldom go for a smoothie, it's nice to know that this Bronx-born businesses has expanded to White Plains. I would definitely return for another beverage and to explore more of their menu.

My daughter took advantage of Freckles' 2-day Groupon deal and used it as her New Year's detox liquid boost. Turns out, her 6 Green Juices+6 Alkaline Smoothies were everything she wanted. Easily head to this City Center location in downtown White Plains on Level 3 to get your take-away pressed juices, smoothies or shots. The kid easily picked up her 12-pack with a complimentary reusable bag at that. I'd ask if this location also serves savory items like soups and bites similar to their Bronx location. There was a 'pick-up-by' hiccup with my daughter's order- but folks here managed to fixed that ASAP. There was some confusion from my daughter's part where she didn't select the correct location- but again, folks here prepped a brand new 12-pressed juice and smoothie pack to pick up New Year's Eve with no hassle. Thank you! I like this brand and particularly dig that a fly-by-night fluke doesn't own this company making it seem as if they're cut out for running a juice spot.
