Finally made it to Juices For Life....so I've been on a healthy restart for my birthday (5/17). Hadn't eaten all day. Decided to walk by Yonkers waterfront...3:30pm on 80+ degree day. Needed something to give me some energy and decided to finally stop here on my way to the waterfront. Didn't know they had a private lot but will use it next time. There were some open spots on the street. The 2 guys inside were very nice and friendly. I ordered a large Castle Hill with grapefruit added in. The cashier gave me the look of death....he was only playing around though. The juice hit the spot and give me the energy I needed to complete my 3.5 miles at the waterfront. This place has GREAT potential. I came here looking for a refreshing juice/smoothie and the first time I thought it was okay, not bad but not amazing. I came here the second time and truthfully, what made the experience bad for me was the service. I'll give them this, they were busy. And when you work in the food industry and you're busting your ass working, it's not easy so customers shouldn't expect much. HOWEVER. The lady at the cash register took my custom order and she asked me if I wanted any honey or sweetener added to my drink. I told her that I didn't. So, fast forward to when my drink is ready, I ask the man behind the counter if honey was added and he tells me yes. I told him that I ordered my juice without honey or sweetener and he tells me something along the lines of, "You were supposed to have told the girl who took your order." and I look at him say "I DID tell her." and he just looks at me and tells me I'm gonna have to wait until he's done with the 5 orders that he was working on. The girl doesn't even apologize to me. Neither does the guy. They were just both kind of rude and careless. The juices are good, I can't complain about that. But service matters alot to me. And if you're going to be rude, I'm going to be honest in my review. Like I said, this place has great potential to be bigger than what it currently is. Maybe it will be! $5 smoothies and juice.. I'm a fan! Located in Yonkers in a small strip of stores is this place. I came here after searching yelp for the nearest juice spot near to my house. Very easy to find and theres a small parking lot on the side of the building. There was only a few people in line when I came in so I was helped within 2-3 mins. Now to the menu.. Theres tons of different shakes and juices to try with cool names like "Superthug" & "Go Bananas". I had a hard time finding one because there were so many to choose from. I can't remember which one it was specifically, definitely had some peanut butter & banana in it ; Usually when I get smoothies from other places it's sometimes watered down but this place was pretty rich in flavor and it had an even blend of the ingredients.
