08/10 I discovered Organic Krush in Plainview, NY, and…read moreinstantly understood why people rave about it. Their vegan and vegetarian dishes deliver clean flavor with real substance. My tastebuds were hooked from the first bite. Traveling the distance to see my doctor and get a delicious breakfast was always a treat but desiring this food more often, I knew I would need to find a closer location. The Organic Krush located at 27 N Park Ave in Rockville Centre NY is my desired location and not only is it in reach, but it is in the midst of other well-known places to shop and the AMC theatre. Offering a host of organic signature dishes and cold press juices Organic Krush provides enough variety to keep your desires gratified to satisfaction. You are warmly greeted upon entering Organic Krush. The staff are so pleasant and carry a pleasant tone. I adore their eagerness to answer any questions and get you the correct answer to help you learn more about their product. The restaurant is spacious and offers ample seating as well as outside dining in the rear. I normally get cold pressed juices and a meal. I had the pleasure of visiting twice in one week. I purchased the cold press TRULY GREEN drink that was high in antioxidants. Its ingredients are cucumber, spinach, kale, parsley, and lemon. To me it was really tasty but to others, it might be an acquired taste. I also had the smashed avocado toast. Who doesn't love a good avocado toast? Well this avocado toast was really filling and packed a powerful taste and it consisted of gluten free bread, seasoned smashed avocado, cilantro, Pico de Gallo, and topped off with a sunny side up certified organic egg. D'LICIOUS!! I also had the FALL IN LOVE salad and I did just that... Its ingredients are- roasted sweet potato, kale toasted chickpeas, roasted carrots, red onions, cauliflower, red cabbage, cilantro, spicy ponzu, over quinoa and served deliciously hot. I always FALL IN LOVE with a hot salad. I forgot the manager's name but we did talk about detoxing and juicing which I plan to do really soon. They also have books for those who want to read up on how to take care of your body through food and juicing. Pro tip- the Berry Nutty Steel Cut Oats are your go to for an early morning treat just ask for it to be hotter than normal if you love it hot hot hot! Also, grab a sample of the truffled popcorn in the little cup. Hot coffee is just as good! This is the healthiest meal I can find in Rockville Centre, Long Island. Everything is gluten free, and many items are also dairy free and soy free. Good service from the eatery staff. The place was busy during lunch hours. Just note, there are restrooms available for customers only. I love the comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The Egg Drop Stir-Fry Rice and Chicken Thai Noodle Bone Broth are delicious and healthy! The pancakes, Paleo Banana Muffin, Chocolate Zucchini Muffin are to die for. Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie is tasty and healthy in the summer. On top of that, meals come in compostable fiber takeout bowls along with disposable utensils made of plastic. If you care about cutting waste, the same as I do, it makes sense to carry reusable utensils made of stainless steel.

Staff people were mostly sweet…read more The vibe is busy strip center - high overhead - owner skimps hard on AC and or landlord does.. and the software for the register freezes and had me standing watching for what seemed much longer than likely was. One employee and I never ever go there.. but one was annoying.. I kept trying to catch her when she came to the front and saw the young man unable to ring me up and give me change.. she kept grinning hysterically at a delivery pick up guy and walking back to the back and to him over some item once made there.. All while ignoring the desperate cashier who could not figure how to get change.. and ignoring me. Ten minutes it felt like.. So I had to say something like... Something is really wrong here... you are all not helping this man... and NO ONE is making the bowls or green drinks in the station behind the front.. Staff were standing further back and going past the station - making nothing- to the front and back again discussing various things. Finally the girl and one guy began to make my order which was called in 15 minutes before.. and the girl kept looking toward me then giggling toward the other worker. I said excuse me.. but laughing while preparing someone's food is going to get the order cancelled.. I tried to explain that was not ok... but they simply seemed too simple to get it.. and I wanted the Acai bowls and green drink.. so ignored my own demands. It was that kind of warp I was in. It was like a ten minute time warp of Wacky and distressed food service. Would be four stars for the items because the flavors were great and the two guys were very nice! Just a downer for them in there.. Not enough AC and software that was freezing for both guys. This place is doable for some .. but the kind of place my mother could never go to.. She has no patience for off behavior of people preparing food. * Update note -- stopped in AGAIN in need of Acai & Green drink and totally professional young guy was in and all was normal. Will return... And deal with any young staff issues for the trade off of healthy drinks.

All the things you need to make anyone feel comfortable while dining out. At the counter, it's commercial style assembly, but not really. The lady making our salad was so pleasant, first off. She walked us through the options and allowed us to modify them. I got exactly what I wanted. My friend, nuts and berries, I joked. I thought they were making them together, but no, that massive salad was mine and mine alone. I was completely shocked at what I saw. We took our food and stayed in to eat. My salad wasn't the way I make it at home, but I'm glad it was not. The dressing was amazing, the toppings, fantastic, and the amount perfect if you're hungry. You can share a bowl if you want.
