Jesse's prices are very competitive but what I liked most is that he is organized, his crew is prompt and hard working and it's not rushed. I had a large project which involved a total attic clean out, rodent proofing, sanitizing, radiant barrier, sealing and insulation. Jesse was able to organize it around my schedule so the crew would the project on three Saturdays (three phases) and it came out beautiful. My family is already noticing a big difference in the heat within the house. Given I was doing so much work with my attic, I thought it was a good time to get an air duct and dryer duct clean it (another company did this part). but these two things combined (new insulation and cleaner ducts) have made a big difference in the air quality within our home. Thank you My Insulation Guy for getting this project done in a timely fashion, while providing professional, diligent service coupled with quality name brand insulation. It looks beautiful!

The last few weeks as we transition into late spring / early summer, there is a stark temperature differential between inside and outside. From the initial meeting, writing up a quote with multiple options, to the installation, everything was done fairly quickly. The total labor took about 2 days for our average size (approx. 1600 sq ft) house. Mike was very reasonable with giving multiple options from the Premium A package and the the Tune Up B package to keep this project within our budget, as well as preparing proper documentation for tax purposes and increasing property value. The only part we were not too happy with was how messy the blown insulation is when they entering and exiting the attic. This is a minor issue as the attic is not very often accessed and blown insulation is just messy by nature. Nothing to the fault of the installers, just something to consider when choosing materials for the job. Overall, we are very happy with the results and there isn't much I can complain about.

Before estimates came in, it was clear that Insulation Labs was the best-- Ray came on time, knew what he was talking about, answered all my questions, and followed up promptly with the estimate. In addition to being the best service of all five estimates, it was also the lowest price. Julio was in touch for all things scheduling. The team that installed the crawl space vapor barrier came on time when they said they would, cleaned up all debris following the work, and left the work area as they found it. Julio called after the work was done to ask how everything was-- and I told him that the crawl space door seemed to have been bent back a bit in a way that could let a rodent slip under the house (which is understandable given how much material they had to bring into the crawl space). Julio promptly made an appointment for his team to come and fix the issue, and they even added additional hardware cloth on two other spaces upon my request. Overall, I am extremely impressed with the professionalism, service, quality of work, and responsiveness. And the price was the best of all five estimates I got as well. I recommend hiring Insulation Labs for your job.

It's more of a boutique operation, which means he can offer you guidance without layers of people in between. Jonathan himself, or one of his team members from my understanding, will be up in your attic getting the job done, and they work fast. We requested insulation in our attic, and he came in and had it installed in just a couple of hours. He also replaced an attic fan that dated back to 1970, so our attic ventilation was addressed as part of the service as well. We noticed a major difference the same day, especially with the heat we've been experiencing here in Southern California. We recently bought a house that had inadequate insulation, probably somewhere around R-3, and now we're upwards of R-38. Our air conditioner was hardly ever cycling off. It was running almost the entire time since we bought our house in the middle of this hot summer. We were confused as to why the house kept heating up even while the AC was running. I called Jonathan to discuss the issue, and we talked through radiant barriers, attic ventilation, attic floor sealing, and the existing insulation that was there. He guided me through a cost-effective, value-driven process that made a whole lot of sense. He explained the benefits of each option, and ultimately we landed on starting with the insulation. That alone ended up curing the issue with our HVAC system not being able to keep up with the heat. Now the house feels cooler on hot days, and our AC isn't running nearly as much. We're incredibly happy we selected him as our service provider, and I would refer him to anybody who needs insulation or attic work done. Jonathan is the real deal. He's a genuinely kind and authentic human being, easy to communicate with, and someone who clearly cares about the work he does.

American Home Shield sent us (Michael Tyrone Wolf/Wolfepack Co.) people who checked my unit in 5 minutes, proclaimed it was an electrical issue and left without checking anything else. Their boss even called me up the next day to raise his voice at me because I had the audacity to leave him a 1 star Yelp review. I'm so grateful I found Trevor's company online. I begged him to send someone out on a Saturday - so rare! But Eduardo came as promised, spent an hour thoroughly examining our unit, confirming there was no electrical issue, but gave us the honest diagnosis that as our unit was so old, it would be extremely difficult to source parts. He said he could put a bandaid on it and keep revisiting the issue or we could invest in a new unit and even lower our electricity bill that way. We took the second option - and we are glad we did! AJ, Pablo and Marco came bright and early on Monday to work on everything. As I worked from home, I did not hear a peep from them. They did everything quietly and were a well-oiled machine. They were so thorough and took the time to explain things to me and my husband. They were genuinely happy to do their jobs. The 3 of them did so much back-breaking work all the way till past 6pm. We were so grateful for their dedication. When they finished, we had beautiful cold air coming out of all our vents. They cared not just to do the job well, but to make sure they left us happy and satisfied. The company founder Tom, even came out the next day to check if everything was done correctly. It was so lovely meeting him. We are going to be lifelong customers and we are spreading the gospel about these folks. One thing you need to make sure in Southern CA is that you find honest, hardworking HVAC people because our summers can get brutal and we can't afford to let our ACs malfunction for long.
