The first quoted me an absolutely ridiculous price that would have cost an arm and a leg. The second guy offered to do it for cheap but he couldn't figure out the issue so he just disappeared and never showed up. Kevin and Milo came in and had to clean up the mess left by the previous contractor, then thoroughly tested all the zoning, dampers, and zoning board to actually diagnose what was going on. Not only did they figure out the real issue, they fixed everything completely and at a very fair price. On top of that, Kevin noticed my thermostat wasn't functioning properly and replaced it on the spot, explaining exactly why it was causing problems. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable and clearly knows this stuff inside and out, but what I really appreciated was how he explained everything in a way that actually made sense. No pressure, no sales pitch -- just honest options, estimated costs, and pros and cons for each path forward. And a huge cherry on top: they cleaned up extremely well afterward. Given the mess that had been left behind before, this really stood out to me. Everything was left neat and organized, and they made sure the area looked better than when they arrived. That level of professionalism and respect for your home goes a long way. So after our cold snap in Febuary of 2026, our heater/AC unit wasn't working, when the technician…read morecame out, he immediately said the entire unit was bad due to the unit being too old, he claimed the evaporator was clogged, the blower motor squirrel cage bearings were bad and the Air filter was the wrong size, all with out a borescope or any kind of diagnosis. But for the low price of 20K but they could cut us a deal and do it for 17k..he could have us back up and running.. pass,,, We called a friend who actually did some diagnosis and come to find out the evaporator was NOT clogged and the bearings were fine. Plus the air filter was dirty and all it was to blame was a contactor relay in the AC condenser which only cost us $30 plus a from Amazon. plus a new Filter for about $20 and we were up and running. I get business is slow but but to deliberately make a false claim it is shameful.
