Called W.E.D.O. when my A/C began blowing warm air recently. I called in the afternoon and they were able to schedule me the following morning as their first call as I live down the street from them. They don't charge to diagnose and their prices are probably about the best you'll find. Technician Angel came and first checked the capacitor, and then came inside and checked the temp at multiple registers both before, during and after the process. He hooked up his equipment to the compressor and discovered it was low on refrigerant. He quoted me a price that honestly couldn't be beat. I had gotten a quote from another more commercially known company in town whom wanted 3 times the amount just to top off the refrigerant. Their labor cost alone was more than my entire visit from W.E.D.O. and there town they did. Not only are their technicians super helpful and knowledgeable, but so is their office staff that answer the phones as well. They will never try to up sell you anything and are about the customer first and value returning customers which I was, and had them replace the capacitor on my system 3 years prior. read more

Our air conditioning went out on Thursday. Friday a service person came by to evaluate the problem. His name was Forest. Forest proceeded to check everything out and verify the condenser needed to be replaced because the compressor had gone out. And no AC company repairs compressors any longer. It's easier to replace the whole condenser. It took three days for them to order the parts and install it. Today was the first day we were able to enjoy a lot cooler house thanks to forest and his helper Quan. They do quality work and the value was competitive. My Trane AC stopped blowing cold air on a Friday and I found W.E.D.O. on Yelp since it was nearby. I called at 12:10 pm and W.E.D.O. advised that technician will be out between 1-3 hours. To cut this review short, Geo arrived at 12:30 pm, found the problem and showed me the issue. Geo replaced the part, cleaned the unit and check the temperature output - he finished the job by 1:09 pm. Now, that is an excellent response time and speedy work completion within an hour - no fuss, no oversell! This company is amazing! My AC started leaking from the intake vent (?). We hadn't been running it a lot even though it was hot, so I couldn't figure out what the problem was. I called one company I had used for plumbing that also did AC. They were going to charge me more than double of what this company charged me and there were no guarantees it would fix it. Then they said if it didn't work, then I'd need a new AC. This company came and found out the tubing that takes care of the condensation was blocked. They not only vacuumed out the tubing, but when it happened again almost a week later, they came out and used something stronger that didn't come out with the vacuum at no extra charge. This is my second call to WEDO this year for service for my 30+ yr old a/c unit. Both times they have been ultra responsive and willing to get out to me ASAP. The service technician did a great job examining the system and looking for the leak from the compressor all the way inside to the registers. After moving to the hotter than hot IE I thought I found my AC repair guy in the summer of 2020 when the capacitor had to be replaced. Sadly, when I looked through my old reviews I discovered said AC guy had a string of one star reviews in the last year and had more or less become a scammer. This meant that when our AC went out again in May of 2022, it was time to find a new AC repair guy (or company) and this led me to W.E.D.O here in Chino. Thankfully this time the situation wasn't so dire with the AC going out on a warm-ish May day as opposed to a scorching July day. Still, Dan was able to get me scheduled for the next morning and even advised me to check the fuse box beforehand to save me an unnecessary service call which I thought was amazing! After checking the fuse box a service call was still needed so Mike came the next morning and broke the bad news. There would be no easy/cheap capacitor replacement this time -- after 18 years the compressor went out, which I knew from prior research is a bigger and more expensive repair. Complicating things was the fact my AC unit was so old they didn't even make it anymore. Still Mike was able to provide me two options, a cheaper one (replace the condenser, which I think in layman's terms is a new outdoor AC unit) or a more expensive one (basically a new AC system for the entire house). Dan sent the estimates later and even recommended the cheaper option, which was another plus since he wasn't pushing the upsell. As an added bonus Dan was able to send a technician the next day! Forrest arrived and after a few hours the job was done. One more added bonus: Forrest was funny (in addition to friendly and hard-working -- poor guy was sweltering up in our attic!) So once again I feel like I've found my go-to AC company -- and this time I really believe they'll be our go-to for however long we're in Chino! read more

Two words to describe this company and the staff, it's HONESTY and RELIABILITY! Touch not having a properly working AC during the peak of summer. Dealt with Dan to diagnose why our AC fan blower isn't working. He thoroughly explained what two components could be wrong and their pricing right off the phone. They are open on sundays which most HVACs companies are not and came to our service within an hour. He came to diagnose our blower and the first thing he asked was, "did another company service this because one wiring wasn't attached properly?" All he did was attach it back, never asked for my money and said this is a common tactic that other companies do to get you to either replace the motor or capacitor for a much higher fee. That was exactly the previous company was suggesting me do was to replace the motor. Dan came in to fix the mess and was so honest! The capacitor on my condenser went out. I called W.E.D.O on Friday night and Saturday morning, the men were at my door at 8:45. They were at my home for only 20 minutes or less, and the capacitor was installed and they also checked all my other equipment and even went into the attic and checked my furnace.
