They connected me with an electrician named Jake. That was the beginning of our luck! Jake intelligently asked me to send him some pictures of the circuit panel. The circuit panel was basically an antique. He was able to diagnose the problem and gave me instructions on what to do over the phone. I am very thankful to this company. It was a wonderful experience. It was quick and easy. Jake was spot on in everything he said. What a great experience. Not happy with my experience when looking at the full picture. I had a hot tub panel install on…read more11/2020 and paid a premium for it due to the holiday season and booking backups. They had an opening and a good rating online, so we decided to go with them. This March (3/2026) as I was freshening up my hot tub for spring, I noticed that only half the jets were working on only one side of the tub. I started troubleshooting what might be the issue and eventually made my way to the electrical box for the hot tub unit. I opened it up and noticed what looked like corrosion on the key/plug. When I pulled it out and gave it a closer look, I noticed that 3/4 main wires were completely fried or corroded. Yikes, that is probably the issue. When I called Mr. Electric's service center, I was met with no concern (Oh my, that doesn't sound good - yeah, you think?) and no offer to come out and inspect the work and then repair the issue (past the warranty period), just that another technician could come out and do the repair work for us. Why would I pay for your techs to come out when I'm experiencing shoddy work from you guys already? I pay a professional to do the job right, the first time around, so that I don't have to get things re-done and spend more money. With the track record I already had with them, I opted to not re-hire. I instead went with my main HVAC/electrical/plumbing company who came out and repaired and cleaned everything up (and stands by their work every time). When talking to the electrician who came out, he mentioned the reason this whole thing happened was because the wires were not tightened correctly during the initial install, one of the wires became loose overtime, overheated and then fried the other ones. The box that housed the electrical unit was closed and always locked with a padlock (so that my kids wouldn't open it up and messed around with it). When I mentioned that to the electrician, he said it was probably a poor install from the get-go. I'm so glad I caught it when I did, I hate to think the harm this incompetent install could have caused to my house and family. Not sure if those loose & overheated wires could have caused a house fire but I wouldn't want to risk it regardless. I will never hire this company again.

If you get nasty I get return the favor and lawyer up". Be careful! I hired him to solve. He spent three hours walking around my home mumbling and asking me how to fix these issues, it took all my effort to get him to rewire one light. Then he recommended that I spend $3800 to totally rewire my home. Two other very confident electricians told me that this was absolutely not necessary. Pete Cicionne does not have the ability to solve more complicated problem with the electrics in a home. He can do simple things, but that is all please don't trust him.

There was no up front quote prior to the service fee being charged, and while I expected I might pay a premium, it would up being over 50% more than another quote I got. I would consider the company itself to be opportunistic and somewhat manipulative. The service fee does not roll into the project itself as it would at a mechanic, but does make you feel committed to them. That fee includes a whole house eval, which was then used to try to sell me every kind of upgrade possible. Since I paid the fee, I used the opportunity to ask about some electrical codes for things I'm considering doing myself, and there was no hesitation to price it out for me in case I wanted the work done. When it came time to present the potential options, they were presented as financing options--definitely a sales tactic to get me to commit to spending on these extras projects, which would have been triple the cost of the one thing I called them for. My idea of a good contractor is one that presents options with honesty and warns me when something is a problem, and this was opportunistic. I'd look elsewhere.
