Been dining here on & off for 17 years- never disappointed. Simple, consistent, well-made food, at good price. They make great cheesesteaks; my favorite is the JJ which has a layer of ham under the steak & American melted over the toasted roll. Fried mushrooms are golden, beer-battered, orbs served with made-from-scratch horseradish sauce guaranteed to open your sinuses. (Most sauces/dressings are homemade which elevates everything they're served with). Stromboli is crisp-baked football stuffed with a thick layer of meat. Sauce tastes homemade, not out of can, dough has nice chew & some browning. Another favorite is Clams Casino pizza. This unique pie has a ton of chopped clams & heavy dose of oregano. Crisp bacon, green bell peppers, & garlic add such flavor even non-clam people go crazy over it. Interrior is unique, all wood, custom built bar & seating area that includes balcony, wood burning fireplace, & view of the wildlife. No sign, cash only, & sometimes closed for vacation so always call first. Even though it's just a pizza/sandwich menu, people travel from far away to eat at this hideaway.

I got a cheesesteak with roasted peppers. I had a trunk picnic in the parking lot. There is a fantastic view from the parking lot. I did not like my cheesesteak. I was expecting a soft roll that most places in that area use. The roll felt like a soft roll bakers version of a traditional roll. It was very bready. My Cheesesteak came with sauce but not a lot and the meat was a little dry. When I tasted Cheese It was good. Not many peppers and they were on the bottom. There is a great view from the parking lot.

I saw a post stating no "crazy beers." Does this mean no craft beers other than some imports like the ones they listed?

If you're a self proclaimed "beer snob" the beer list won't impress you.

I've heard nothing but great things since this place opened, so I was definitely looking forward to trying some of their food. My friends and I started with three appetizers; homemade mozzarella sticks, nachos with shredded chicken, and lemon pepper wet wings. The moz sticks were lightly breaded, crispy, and filled with gooey deliciousness. The nachos were good, not great. The ingredients were fresh, but disproportional (not enough chips and queso and too much LTO). The wings were absolute perfection. I still have a handful of places to try, but Cuzin's is definitely a contender for best wings in the valley. After the appetizers I moved on to Cuzin's colossal club. This sandwich is enormous! It's piled high with pastrami, corned beef, ham, turkey, bacon, provolone, Swiss, LTO, and house sauce. It's served on grilled rye bread. My friends ordered the three little pigs burger and the cali chicken sandwich. They both enjoyed theirs as much as I did. Our server was friendly, helpful with the menu, and had superb timeliness from start to finish. Cuzin's has indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup is available, but there is no delivery. I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

So many flavors to choose from. I got the sweet and spicy Thai flavor and it was worth it. The bartender was also our server since we sat at the bar. I asked her about Garage beer and she gave me a small glass of it. YUM! Had that to top off a good ole American lunch. Very quaint and they have food for everyone. From vegan to meat eaters and everything in between including kids. (Dining area set apart from bar so kids aren't in the bar area). Definitely a place you should try!

The bread component was extremely soggy & non existent. Overall the soup desperately needs help. *Bleu Cheese: straight outta the Restaurant Store and unremarkable. These wings are sensational, and an elevated bleu cheese would have taken them to new heights! The cook on the wings was exquisite! New place for us now for great wings! Great craft beer selection, if that's your thing. I was happy to find Garage Beer Lime ‍ on tap. The staff was sensational. I am already looking forward to my next trip, but Im gonna bring my own bleu cheese. #rushieeats

We found this place because I was looking for somewhere I could get a beer and walk out and around the town of Jim Thorpe (I believe they allow it here). But ended up staying for the vibes and plus we were super hungry. I wish I remembered our waitresses name but I believe she had pink in her hair. She allowed me and my girlfriend to sample some beers that she thought we would like because we were hesitant and what to order. We got the sangria sour beer and the white ale which were perfect for us. We also saw online that everyone loved the smash burger so we had to try it. We added truffle fries for 3 dollars which was so worth it. Some of the best fries we have ever had. Also I think we decided it was the best smash burger we have ever had. We both have never tried bacon jam and we were a bit hesitant about the pimento cheese as well. I think my favorite moment from this trip was sitting at the bar here and eating this meal. Plus the burger lived up to the hype. Thank you to the waitress we had you made our day!
