Came here for a happy hour with my team at work. We got here about 530 in the afternoon and it was surprisingly empty. That did not last for long within about a half hour to 45 minutes the place was rocking. We ordered drinks and several appetizers including their famous cheese fries as well as their buffalo chicken bites and fried mushrooms. Everything fell into the category that I would say is decent. read more

Good burgers and loves the loaded cheese fries is a must when you go. Bar too with happy hour and more

Came in for a quick bite. My grilled chicken sandwich was awesome as usual. But the kid waiting on me was not on his game. Never got napkins or silverware. Brought me the wrong drink. No worries, I waited patiently for him to return, 15 minutes later. Never got refills and dirty, empty baskets just sat there til I left. Think I'll stick to the Plano location. But again food was great. read more

I occasionally come here for the loaded cheese fries. My last visit will be my last. I specifically asked the server to make sure the fries were hot. He assured me they would be crispy. They arrived room temperature at best. He apologized and assured me he'd take care of it. When he brought me my order, it looked like my original order with extra cheese added and then microwaved. They were slightly warm. I left him a good tip but I will not be back. read more

I am a vegetarian so the fact that they carry a veggie hamburger is a big plus. Their ranch and BBQ sauce is really good too which for me is a big plus. The over all ser ice was quick and very attentive. They recently added sweet potato tots which is a good option but I'd rather have sweet potato fries. Overall good food! read more

Snuffers - Classic Veggie Hamburger - Burgers Near Me - Addison, Texas

All I wanted was a juicy burger and I got it! I've been here before and had the guacamole burger which I loved! I don't know any really good burger places by where I live so I remembered this one. I ordered the DrPepper BBQ sauce on the side because I wasn't sure if I would like it and I did not. The burger alone was magical I ordered a medium rare and it was perfect. They're open until late too super plus! read more

every time i order a Burger I order a side of fried pickles ,always delicious, but today don't know what happens pickles taste it horrible.

Snuffers is one of my al time favorite burger places, you cannot go wrong here. From their delicious cheese fries & mushrooms, to their wraps, chicken and of course their burgers. I had been a vegetarian for a little but and this was my all time favorite place to come and get a "burger"." They have a new location right where Dukes use to be, it's very nice. I have only been once and it is a different feel than the original Addison one but I like it.They have a HUGE bar which also is great for Addison. read more

Snuffer's is conveniently located 3 minutes away from me, so whenever i'm in need of a burger fix, this is my go to place. I went here with a buddy of mine and the boo. The place is not as big as you'd expect a place to be in addison, but it get's the job done. There are many booths where you can sit so seating really isn't a problem. My buddy ordered the bacon and swiss burger and the boo and i shared a bleu cheese bacon burger and an order of the large cheddar cheese fries topped with bacon and jalapenos. The burgers aren't better than twisted roots, but doesn't mean that they aren't good. Our burger was topped with crispy bacon bits and crumply creamy bleu cheese. My buddy's burger looked awesome as well. What stole the show was the cheddar fries. Honestly every frie had cheese coated around it. They really do make sure to get cheese and bacon in every layer instead of just the top. It's huge as well which is good for value. Snuffer's is a solid burger joint, and i can expect myself to visit it again in the future. read more

Oh Snuffer's, how I have missed you! It was pretty darn awesome to take my twins to my old favorite burger & fry joint! The twins and I headed here after me sharing tales of the amazing burgers and cheddar fries I had consumed on many, many occasions... many, many, many moons ago. Still amazing burgers and oh so yummy cheddar fries! The twins tried the Cheddar Fries Burger; a scrumptious, juicy Snuffer's burger topped with cheese fries - the best of both worlds, I might add! The burgers were juicy, fresh, made to order and absolutely delicious! The cheddar fries were piled high and covered in cheese, chives and bacon, with jalapenos on the side. It was really cool to be able to take the twins here and I am so glad that Snuffer's is still really great, freshly made burgers and yummy cheddar fries. Can't wait to take them again and bring the boy this time! read more

Snuffer's is good if you don't care about calorie intake and want to indulge in greasy madness. Start off with the loaded cheddar fries. I ordered the veggie patty, and I was impressed with the flavor. They are known for their burgers, so order the burger here. read more

The Vibe: Addison lunch-time loud. Music played in the background, but it just half blended in with the noise. It was very crowded on a Friday at noon. Service: was very slow due to the crowd, but it was professional and they did give us a gift card for our next burger. The Burger: It was OK - lots of black poppy seed, patty a tad past the requested medium, but lettuce, onion, and tomato on a mushroom & swiss burger? Was that on purpose? Bacon Cheese Fries: Still about the best in Dallas County. WIGB: Maybe for more bacon cheese fries between 3:00 and 7:00 PM when all drinks are $1.00 off, oh, and I guess I need to use that gift card. . read more

Food was great service was better. Cheeses fries were on point as always, burger was cooked as asked (medium). We also tried the fried pickles and mushrooms superb as well. Amy did a great job being attentive to our needs and making sure we had all we needed. read more

Although the alcoholic beverages are a bit weak. I still like going for the spicy chicken tenders salad! That salad is a 10/10

We used to go to snuffer's all the time many years ago and we decided to try them out again. It was difficult getting into the parking lot due to construction but once in they were very pleasant and great service. I thought I took pictures but I can't find them sorry.... We had hand cut potato fries and onion rings, which were very good, but the onion rings I have had better. I tried the house margarita and it was good, kind of small, but good. The same with the sangria swirl margarita. My wife and I ordered and split between us the bacon cheeseburger, medium rare and it was a little more medium but still a very good cheeseburger. My son tried the Black angus steak strips and liked them very much. It is still a very good place, maybe not as great place as it used to be but we liked it more than enough to come back! read more

First time visit. Visited around noon, it was busy but got waited on very quickly. Decided to go with the classic burger and loaded fries. I ordered medium well but ended up with medium rare. I didn't return it due to time constraints. The meat was tasty but by the time I finished my burger the bread had gotten soggy. The load fries were mediocre, nothing special. Overall it was ok but nothing to write home about. read more

Cheddar Fries......The End Just kidding they have burgers too but the cheddar fries are the main attraction. You must get them loaded with bacon, chives and jalapeños! Dip those cheesy, crispy, ooey gooey bad boys in their little ranch bath and shove them in your face until you hate yourself! Bring a friend to share in the gluttony because they give you 2 sides of ranch. The burgers are ok. I like the mushroom swiss the best. I usually order the 1/4 lb with the poppy seed bun and talk someone into going halfsies on it with me because the cheddar fries usually do me in. The service is always good. The beer is always cold. Don't eat here too often though unless you want to be on the fast track to a triple bypass. read more

Snuffer's is a great option for a quick, American meal. The burgers are great, and the fries are AMAZING! I had the chicken tenders this night, and they were super yummy. The ranch was the perfect dip for the fries, which were already well seasoned, and BBQ for the spicy chicken tenders was the best way to scarf these down. This was a super inexpensive, casual and delicious meal! read more

Our burger was raw on the inside. It was not cooked thoroughly and we were unable to eat it. We also requested no onions or lettuce and it still had that. Oddly enough the chicken was over cooked. Burnt and hard in some areas. Sweet potato bites were ok but not great. The fried pickles were bland. They did not taste like pickles at all. This was actually because the pickle to batter ratio was 1:3. read more

Addison Location - Awful experience. I have been going here since i was a kid and this took the cake, i won't be coming back. When we entered (it's seat yourself) we were looking around for the table when a waiter rudely passed by and said "it's seat yourself, like it says on the sign in front of you". Then, when we ordered cheese fries our waitress looked at me and said "wow, that's sure a lot of calories". It's a Snuffer's!! No one goes there for a salad. The cheese fries and ranch are great, but the rest of the food is average and the service was absolutely terrible. Really disappointed in a place a loved as a kid and this will be my last trip. read more

Huge portions of average pub food. It was a nostalgia visit for my wife which was cool, but for me it was just average bar food. And as an FYI, I recently heard the Snuffer's chain is going through some financial difficulties so who knows where things will end up... http://dallas.culturemap.com/news/food-drink/11-24-13-snuffers-restaurant-mike-karns-buyout-pats-burger-cheddar-fries/ read more

If you visit Snuffers you must try the cheese fries...loaded. The staff was on it. The management came by twice to check on us and the beer was icy cold. read more

This place had good reviews on Yelp, so lunch it was. All the pictures of the loaded cheese fries, we had to try them. That was a good idea! The fries were great, but a large is too much for 2 people if you want room left for your meal. I tried the green chili burger while Justin did the fried jalapeño burger. Both were great and I would order them again, but the really soft bun got kinda messy towards the end of the burger. Will definitely try this place again. read more

Being in town, and craving for a burger near the hotel, Snuffer's was open until 1 A.M. We had the following items: - Black Angus Steak Strips - decent fried steak strips with creamy gravy, however, some what salty, but I'm assuming its for the people at the bar to want more beer! - Bacon Cheeseburger - decent burger, was hoping for bacon strips, not bacon pieces - Cheddar Fries - supposing a popular fry, but it wasn't that great, the cheese got hard and was stuck to the fries, but overall not that bad So if ever I am in town, and have a late night burger craving, I would order from here again. read more

As everyone says, the cheese fries loaded with cheese, bacon bits and jalapeños are great!!! The large is a huge plate, definitely enough for 2-3 people. Hubby and I both got the bacon guacamole cheeseburger which was really yummy! We also had a swirl margarita which I would definitely recommend and a swirl sangria. Both very delicious. I will for sure give this rating a 5 as our waitress Aira was fantastic! She was very sweet and attentive and the greeter was very nice as well. The place is very cozy and warm and had all their Christmas decor put up already. Would for sure come again when I'm craving a good burger read more

Ordered about 100 bucks worth of food for 8 people off Uber Eats, ended up with one cheese burger and a salad. Don't order off the delivery apps at this restaurant. They spilled the dressing everywhere in the bag too, that was dope. read more

The chili cheese burger here was awesome! Chili was on point and I added fried jalapeños to the burger as well, nice touch if you like a little crunchy texture thrown in there. Would definitely order this again. Service here was also good! I hadn't been here in a couple of years because it's been out of my way but really wanted to go back. I REALLY wanted it to be as good as I remembered it but unfortunately it just wasn't. Their cheddar fries are as good as I remember them but the burgers are just not among the best in Dallas. I tried their green chile swissburger which I heard so many talk about. The meat just doesn't have the flavor I crave but it was cooked to order. I just didn't think the other flavors were all that great either. read more

Oh greasy little restaurant that's been here for a long, long time. You and your cheesy french fries, shakes and tall beers (in no particular order) satisfy any craving I throw at you. So I've heard so much about Snuffers and their fries ! We kinda went here on a whim because we were starving . So, the wait was kind of long to even get acknowledged once we were seated . Okay, I let that go. We got our menus and I ordered the Sirloin strips with fries. My friend ordered the chili cheese fries . My strips were great and tender. My friend's fries were sub par to me . Very bland fries . They definitely needed the chili cheese . You do get a huge portion however . I think they have great prices for the portions, so I give them a star just for that , but just didn't wow me . Not bad at all though . Once we had service , we had good service . This is definitely a good spot for watching football or other sports . It's also good for people watching if you're in to that . read more

An all American establishment. This place takes personal twists on American classics, as well as having straight up classics. The Nathan's dog is huge and cooked to near perfection. The establishment is clean, homey and all around like an American sports bar, WITH NO SMOKING. A bug plus for me. The servers are kind, and always making sure you have everything you need. My server Katy was always ready to get me another drink when I wanted one. And wasn't pushy about it either. Price. An average individual, even if you're having a few drinks is about 15-35 per visit. But since it is also a bar you never know how much you're gonna have! Overall, Snuffer's is an All American place bound to become an All American classic! I highly recommend it and will definitely be back! read more
