The service here is terrible. I'm in the service industry myself and I always give restaurants the benefit of the doubt because I understand that things go wrong- but I was so disappointed in the staff and the way everything we experienced was handled. When our server took our order there was a different server that came out and confirmed the order shortly after. Perhaps our server was still in training, that's fine. But then my moms food came out completely wrong and our server wasn't apologetic, she actually seemed quite annoyed at this point. So the "manager" comes over and offers to make my mom a new dish, which at this point we were all so hungry and my mom was afraid of what they may do to her food if they remade it- she was fine with just eating it. The manager didn't apologize, not one time. He tells us he's taking her meal off the bill, but I would've honestly rather heard an apology than have them comp the food. As a server, the first thing we are told to do is apologize when we make a mistake and not ONE employee we dealt with said sorry. We are going out as a family, spending our money to enjoy ourselves and not one person did their job correctly in this situation. After I called the manager back, asking why nobody could just simply apologize, including him, he goes "I thought we were dealing with HER food, not yours (pointing to my mom)" excuse me??? This is how you treat customers? I'm saying this on behalf of my mom because I'm the one who chose to take my family to this place!! And then he sarcastically says "Do you forgive me?" That's STILL not an apology. I told him all we expected was someone to do the right thing, and this is very disappointing. He goes "Okay I understand, so we straight???" Umm sure I guess we're "straight"... how unprofessional!! I am never coming back here again until they can hire staff with proper customer service skills because nobody in there has any idea how to do their job. The manager is a complete joke and needs to rethink the industry he chose to be in. read more

Ms. Jones rolled into Snuffer's for an early lunch with her beloved rock star husband this afternoon. A couple of burgers and ice cold beers sounded wonderful--just what the Doctor ordered on this glorious July day. Ms. Jones would like to share with you that she LOVED the loaded cheese fries. A nice basket of golden brown fries topped with melted cheddar and topped with bacon, onions and jalapenos--wonderful! Starting the meal this way left Ms. Jones eager to sink her beautiful pearly whites into their signature burger and she was quite excited when it arrived. While it looked beautiful, Ms. Jones is very sad to tell you that it was a grand disappointment. Greasy, no flavor--despite being ordered all the way--under cooked for a burger that was ordered medium (same experience a previous review had mentioned)...it was just "meh, I've experienced better." Two burgers, two beers each and a basket of cheesy fries came to $45.00 Though not outrageous in price, there are much more reasonable and better burgers to be had out there....MUCH better. Ms. Jones will not be back to Snuffer's. Her husband felt the same way. On the positive side, the staff rates 5 stars--they were attentive, friendly and fast. Ms. Jones could not help but feel the owner of this establishment knows how to run his staff and has a good eye for creating a fun looking physical plant, but perhaps should consider hiring another chef...after all, how hard is it to create a tasty burger???? (disappointed sigh) read more

Great burgers, but a bit pricey. Fried pickles are average and the portion is huge. Likewise with the cheese fries, the order is huge. We ended up taking about half of our lunch home so portion-wise there's more than enough to share. read more

Teamwork and friendly staff. You can typically go to any Snuffers and the food and service is top notch. We went on a fairly busy Sunday yesterday and our waitress (I forgot her name) was great. She was on point and had excellent follow through. Our drinks were always full and to-go cups were brought with our check. I couldn't ask for better service and for bar food this is as good as it gets! read more

Poor customer service, order wasn't correct and the waitress never came back to check on us. We had to pour our own drink since she didn't do it. read more

I have grown up eating Snuffers since I was 12 years old. This place holds a specially place in my heart. I always order the cheese fries and a spicy batter chicken strips. Yes the food is mostly unhealthy with with a few healthy options, but their food is tasty! Today, the service and food was spectacular. My soft drink never went below a fourth of a glass. The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. We were in and out in a flash during the lunch rush hour. read more

This is a Dallas classic. The main reason I gave 4 stars is because of the cheddar fries. You have to order them with all the toppings. They even have single and half servings available. My go to meals here are the chicken tenders and mushroom burger. I just visited the new location in Addison off of Beltline and it's much better. It's not as dark, much cleaner and better parking! read more

You'd be surprised at how many restaurants close early in Addison! My husband teaches evenings, so we are always on the lookout for something that first, is open past 10:00, and second has everything else we want! They do close at 11 but they still let us order at 10:55. They have a bar, so we were able to order our sparkling soda water and lemons (and weren't charged for them!), but it isn't an overwhelming bar atmosphere when you walk in. We had the chicken fried chicken--which melted in our mouths. Best ever. The mashed potatoes are real red potatoes and not instant. The side salad is also very nice. Our waiter was very attentive and professional. My only problem was that I froze to death, but that is what most people in Dallas are looking for in July. I am writing this because I think we have finally found "our place!" read more

The "New" Triple Decker Club is a huge fail. I took clients to lunch today and ordered it for the first time. There was barely any meat, two seriously thin pieces of ham and turkey, or likely one piece of meat just folded over (so thin it just had one side). For $9, it should be a little bit stacked. Steer clear and stick with the basics. Weak!!! read more

This is usually my go to spot after work to grab a drink and some grub, and never fails. Burgers and loaded fries are out of the world good!!! And the bartenders always take great care of me. read more

I absolutely love this place. The food/burgers are always amazing! the service is always sub-par but thats what you get from teenagers; they just dont care if your drink is empty and has been for the last 10-15 minutes. Oh well, the bugers rock and the loaded cheddar fries are the best around by far. I do wish they had a wheat bun option though. I think I may go here for lunch today! read more

good casual place for burgers and fries, service is good and the cheese fries make the meal. Need a Snuffer's in Arlington we go to the Addision Location when ever in the area. Pat A read more

One of my favorite spots for lunch, I love their food always great and I love their new location and restaurant, it bigger and looks better

So....the food was ok. The service....worst ever!!! Out server, "Jake" was awful. He acted like a table of 9 was way to hard to take care of. My fiancé was talking to him as he was taking orders and then when he asked to place an order Jake rudely said"wait your turn." Then took 3 waiters to come by to finally get a refill on my water. We were there for my cousins birthday, I said " we are here celebrating a birthday." Jake then again rudely said, "we don't celebrate birthdays here" then proceeded to say dessert anyone? I am so disappointed in the service here it's unreal. read more

we rate all Long Island Ice teas to snuffer's. they make the best and the best cheese fries to go with them!

just met up with old co-workers for lunch...they were done eating by the time i got there...so we just sat & chatted...but i've eaten here many times before & i love their fries & turkey burger!!! good margaritas too lol read more

Great place. Ordered fried mushrooms green chili burger and three amigos. Everything very good. Service was good. They have happy hours $1 draft $2-3 small plates food. read more

D and I encountered choosing dinner for date night with one thing in mind: margaritas. We clicked around Yelp searching for Blue Goose and Berryhill and Los Lupes and everything and anything Mexican but no one had a deal. Enter: Snuffer's. Monday through Wednesday- all margaritas and daquiris are in the $3.50 price range. We were sold. D and I scanned the menu and while the burgers, especially the green chili one, all sounded delicious. We couldn't get over that we'd be paying $7 or $8 for a fry-less burger. Also, the cheese fries (which I've had before here) are pretty phenomenal; we just weren't feeling them. So, we ordered the nachos instead. $9 for a HUGE plate of the tastiest nachos in Dallas. No kidding. Who knew Snuffer's could win the nacho competition? These aren't just chips. They're actually several corn tortillas quartered and fried, lovingly spread with beans, topped with tons of melted cheese, and served with all the fixings. D and I were pretty much floored. I highly recommend Snuffer's a great place to sit back with a beer and some bar food. The atmosphere is a little dark and dingy with tons of dark wood but it's got a real charm to it. I'm definitely okay with Snuffer's being a go-to from now! read more

Best cheese fries known to man! If you are looking for a decent priced restaurant with awesome food this is your place

Worst dinner of my life. Cheese fries were good. I had the steak tips and sweet potato tots, menu was limited. Staff, especially the manager was super friendly but last place I'd go to eat in Addison. read more

Miss the old management and ownership. They were much friendlier and cared for their customers more. The waiters do a very sh*tty job now and the food was lousy and cold two of the three times I've been here since the new ownership took over. The food used to be extremely fresh and delicious. You can tell that this local chain is now owned by a large food business just by the precooked frozen fries as well as their precooked frozen burgers. Go to Pat's and Mike's Burgers if you want the true burgers and cheesy fries experience. This place is a complete joke now. read more

The food and management were absolutely terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an edible meal. Frozen burger patties, they even screwed up iced tea. read more

Admittedly, I hadn't been to Snuffers in some time, so I didn't know what to expect. However, I went to the Addison location last week craving what I used to remember as one of the best burgers in town. What I left with was being underwhelmed at best. My buddy and I ordered cheese fries that had little cheese, and what cheese was on the fries was hardly melted. Then comes the main course. What I remember about Snuffers' burgers was a big, plump, juicy patty that was the same circumference as the poppy seed bun, and piles of chopped bacon on top. What I got this time was a shriveled overcooked patty with three strips of pig leather bathed in Crisco laying on top. I couldn't even finish one half of the burger. Not sure what happened to you guys over the last couple of years, but I won't be back, especially with all the new options of burger bars popping up all over the area. Disappointing..... read more

You hear about the cheese fries as you should- they are loaded to hell and ready to undo everything you ever tried to maintain about yourself. The first time I went I had the steak tenders, and won't do those again- they're pretty bland. My boyfriend had the mushroom swiss burger and still talks about it. I just recently had the green chile burger, and it was pretty good- I got the chiles on the side, bc I never assume about green chiles. Good idea- because they were okay. This joint is a fried haven, and you know what you're getting into if you've been before. The atmosphere the first time I went was really weird. Lighting was strange... it seemed like a time warp walking in there-- like a joint from the eighties that kind of reminded me of the lighting in a baseball field at night. They also smoke inside at the Midway location, so prepare for that, or go to the Preston location. Overall, burgers and fries, my friends. It ain't too bad, but it sure ain't tacos. read more

You can always expect the same quality here! Great burgers, but the marinated grilled chicken quesadillas are incredible....never forget the cheese fries!!! read more

Fast service during lunch. Sat at the bar and ordered a burger, fries and fried mushrooms. Absolutely tasty burger, fries were crispy and seasoned and the mushrooms with the horseradish were the bomb. Absolutely enjoyed it. Very clean place! read more

Last Wednesday we had our last meal at Snuffers! It was atrocious and embarrassing as we had guests from Australia with us. The food took forever and when we asked our server what seemed to be the problem she responded, "well, it takes time to cook it!" I supposed it took extra time to BURN IT!!!!! The bus were stale and the cheese on my burger was black and so burned it chipped off. There is usually a manager on duty but one didn't appear to express our dismay, since our waitress was condescending and unapologetic, we apologized to our visitors and left. We have been dedicated customers for many years but evidently they have no regard for that kind of client anymore. Thankfully lots of choices in Dallas!!!!!! read more

Snuffer's cheese fries are pretty good. When I am not by a Snuffer's, I really enjoy cheese fries from Outback Steakhouse. Just tell them to layer the cheese and you have a pretty good Snuffer's alternative. Don't forget the extra ranch. read more

Best burger and homemade french fries in town!

Good Burgers & fries. I have to ask without their seasoning for both otherwise all you taste is salt. Not sure why they went so small on this restaurant. Pickup from here is great, they separate all the fixings so you put together at home, making it a better burger. read more

One of the better burgers in Dallas. They have a thick patty and will actually cook it medium rare for you. Nice atmosphere, tv's for sports. The cheese fries are a classic. read more

I'm giving 5 stars not because this was a perfect experience, but because of the way a less than perfect experience was handled by our waitress. Our table seemed to be in a questionable space so our waitress wasn't quite sure that it was hers. She still got to us early and took our drink orders. I'm a picky drink orderer (think of Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally) and my drink came out wrong. Not a problem. She zipped in, got it fixed and assured me that it was in the system now so it wouldn't be a problem again. She was correct about that! Three drinks later:..I'm a happy girl. She even changed the channel for us (who wants to watch Colorado FB when Big 12 is on???). We then had a large party with several teens and lots of distractions while ordering. Somehow, all of the orders came out correctly....except mine. She came over and immediately apologized, told me the mistake was hers (she clearly had several large parties as crazy as we were) and she made it right. Food was great. Burgers perfect as usual. Everything you expect but with a server who might make a very human mistake but gets in and makes it right. You can't beat that. read more

Brought me the wrong burger...TWICE. Onion "rings" were grossly oversalted. Waitress said the burgers are normally cooked medium rare, but mine came virtually raw in the center. I'm giving one star because at least the wait staff was pleasant. I won't be going back. read more

Surprisingly had the best service experience in my in entire life here. Everyone worked as a team to fulfill customers needs. Everything was so quick and our server Jacob was awesome man he really lifted our spirits. I wish the menu had some vegeterian options other than veggie burger but i dont even care ill come back just for the smiling faces and 3$ margarita happy hour. I have one place in Fayetteville, AR that makes the best burgers I have ever had in my life. Let's just say they are 6 stars and Snuffers burgers are 5 stars.
