Nice looking sports bar & grill with a pleasant waitress. Spacious with the ability to seat larger groups. We had 15 as we were celebrating my mother in laws 80th birthday. It took 1 hr & 25min for the food to arrive. Not everyone was served at the same time the last Entré being served 15min after the first. The Entre Cobb salads were high price but had a small amount of lettuce. The salmon entre needed something more as it was dry. It took 20 minutes for our check to arrive and another 15 for them to be processed. The lunch turned into a marathon. Needs more staff and needs to work on improving entrees on menu. read more

Stopped in at Snow's after church one Saturday night with my son. It's kind of a big u-shaped bar with a large table seating area all around the perimeter. They also have a party room and a deck overlooking the "lake" where you can dine on warmer days. As far as I can tell, it's family owned. Prices are inline with other establishments offering this type of food, and the offerings pretty much run the gamut from burgers on up. Where they shine is the number of beer and craft beer offerings they have. The atmosphere is very upbeat and can be a bit loud-ish. But at the same time, you can bring the kids, and you won't likely disturb any of the other patrons! It's a great place to have dinner and some drinks with family and friends, and the dress code (at least for guys) is anywhere from golf shirts to button down oxfords and sport coats. Beautiful place, slow service. Bland food. We had never been here before. Went in with our kids around 4:10pm on a Saturday. We sat outside. The tables were maybe 1/3 occupied. The waitress took about ten mins to take our drink order which was fine. After she brought back our drinks it took her another 40 mins to take our order. We asked another employee for help and she blew us off. When she did come, they were out of chicken wings. So I got a Cobb salad instead. My husband had the fish log. They were both just ok. We didn't leave here until after 6pm due to slow service. We tried to be understanding but it seems like their could not have been good management on shift. I wanted to really like this place. The lake is very nice and the patio is too. Might have had themselves regular customers but I'd hesitate to spend $70 here again. read more

Been about 20 years since we have been here so we were excited about getting to go back and see the renovations. Great atmosphere and the food smelled yummy when we walked in. We were meeting a large party who had already been sat at some high tops. I went to the bartender to order drinks and her attitude was HORRIBLE! If you don't like your job, do something else. People who come to a bar want someone pleasant. I watched her interactions with other customers and it was the same so it wasn't me. Pros- Great food and atmosphere. We came here on a Wednesday for dinner. The reviews scared us but since it's close to home we thought we'd try it. I'm happy to say I have no idea what the bad reviews are talking about. It's by no means the best restaurant I've been to but for a tavern, I was satisfied with my food & service. This was my second time at Snow's but the first time was just for drinks. This time, I was with my family and we had dinner on a rainy Friday night. Snow's Tavern has a lodge/cabin feel to it which makes it very welcoming. The staff was really great and accommodating as well. All of that added up to a great first impression. They offer lots of seating, a large bar, and a pool table. They often have live music as well. While the food menu seemed a little small, they had lots of beer on tap which i appreciated. However, I was disappointed when my beer was served in a frozen/chilled glass. (sorry, I can be a beer snob). We ordered nachos as an appetizer and I had the buffalo chicken wrap. All of it was good but not memorable. My wife got the steak that was on special and enjoyed it. Overall, it was a really nice experience. Some of the food seemed a bit pricey for what it was. I can see us visiting occasionally as this restaurant isn't far from where we live. read more

Everything was very good. We were a large group of more than 20. They have a nice large parking lot and the view of the lake is fantastic. I can't wait to use the outside area this spring. It really looks inviting. I was with a large group of over 30 people today . They only brought in / 2 waitresses to take care of us. They did the best they could with only 2 of them. I think they should have another person to make it go faster. But my main complain is what I ordered which was a met with Sauerkraut for $6.99. It was good but the bun fell apart and about a smidgen of kraut. I would have rathered gone to Sam's Club and got one for $1.79 with chopped onions ,pickle relish and plenty of kraut ! read more

Very underwhelming. For 2 people, bill was almost $40 (burger w/fries, wings and a side of fries, plus 2 sodas). The burger was very good, yet very sloppy (BBQ sauce and grease). The wings were okay. What I didn't like was our server. He spoke in a monotone voice, and liteeally stood and stared at us while we were looking at the menu. We finally had to ask for a few minutes to decide. Upon walking in, someone was complaining about poor service to the hostess. She apologized to me, to which I replied - "No apology needed; I've had a few complaints myself, no surprise someone else was complaining!" Ordered a KY Bourbon Barrel Ale, which I order everywhere that carries it. They pour in the little glasses, to the brim, no bottles allowed....... Snows too USED TO do this. Hadn't been to snows since it was the old, stinky, scared of you would catch something bar. Now it's absolutely beautiful. Great outside seating deck overlooking the lake, nice indoor bar, pool table, and party room. Reasonable and even cheap drinks at happy hour. My wife and I got a gift card for this restaurant some time ago and just never got around to using it. Yesterday we decided to get some food to go. Big mistake. When I walked in, being careful to wear a mask to protect others, I was greeted by two people who were not wearing theirs. They pulled them up as I approached, but got the feeling that they were doing so in response to my caution. I saw this kind of lax attitude about masks to be pervasive in the staff, even as I tried to keep my distance. My food was placed on a table and I was asked to sit tight while my drinks were prepared. So it sat there. Getting cold. And sat there. Turns out, they had to get some to-go cups from upstairs, which must have been much further away than it looked. Two cups were brought down by the guy who greeted me, still not wearing a mask, his fingers inside my cup. The possibly tainted drinks were finally delivered to me and I left. My wife and I ate in the car, facing the lake ... er, easement pond. My my fries were stone cold and my chicken sandwich, while well seasoned, had a crunchy, tough texture that made it inedible. My wife's food was just as bad and then announced that we had to get home NOW. She wasn't feeling well and thought she might be sick. On the positive side, the lady who actually got me my food was very pleasant. I'm not going to tell you to not eat here based on one pretty terrible experience, but felt compelled to share. read more

I'm still in disbelief over what happened at this place today. It was simply a "this is not BBQ sauce" on my wrap, may I please have a different wrap? (I was very polite I might add). The waiter gives me a strange look, and said I'll have to get the manager (i don't think I've in my life had that happen). 10 minutes later, the manager sits at our table and proceeds to tell me in his condescending tone the recipe for their BBQ sauce He said what would you like me to do? I simply said, well I'd love a wrap but this sauce tastes like sweet Thai chili, not BBQ of any kind. I'm from nc, so I know what a vinegar based BBQ sauce is. He looked at me as if this was craziest thing he ever heard. I said you know what...take it off my bill, I don't want any thing. Later the waiter came over apologizing and I told him ive never been treated this way!! Come to find out the owners were sitting nearby, and couldn't believe i asked for a new wrap. They didn't come speak to me or make it right. The owners have apparently been burned in the past by customers and employees (according to someone in the restaurant) so i guess thats reason enough to treat me like shit?? I was also told that its rare they take off anything on a bill. Even if their fault!!!! They went on about how they have tons of regulars but apparently they didn't care about me since it was my first time, and I told them my husband is opening a business nearby so we COULD have been regulars. I've never felt so disrespected in a place of business and I couldn't not share what happened. We had 6 people at our table, i might add, so news will spread. Trust me. My husband and I went with our 2 year old. The server was so polite and told us it was her first night out of training. She was so sweet! She was very attentive and I think she told us that just in case something went wrong but it didn't. Food was good, nothing too special but good! We will be back. From what I read of the prior reviews, mine is going to be of a similar nature. Seems this restaurant's biggest problem for years has been their poor quality of service, and they apparently have no interest in fixing the issue, because I am reading the same kind of comments going back several years. You'd think someone would point out to them their fairly low yelp score, and you'd think they'd want to make improvements. Apparently not. In any case, yes, the service is still poor. At least one of the servers is downright mean-spirited, unless you're one of her friends/regulars that she knows well. The food is not terrible, if you can get it. It isn't anything to write home about, but it is fine for a night out. . . again, if you can wait long enough to get it. Quite a shame, it is a very nice building, pretty views, has a lot of potential. They really just need to fix their staff! I don't know the owner(s), but I'm guessing from the length of time they've been getting comments about their poor service, this must be a "top-down" issue (rather than just one bad apple) that isn't going to get fixed any time soon. read more

My wife and I were happy to see a new place open up. We were there on a Saturday afternoon (football time). TVs were everywhere. The menu is not large, but enough. We ordered the fried pickles and German pretzels as starters. We were surprised at how quickly they arrived. Both were very good. I had the BBQ burger and she had the mushroom burger. The burgers were very good but a little salty. We had hot slaw and sweet potato fries as sides. Again both were very good. We had to try the "Not Your Father's Root Beer" (they have it on tap). If you like root beer with a little kick, you will love this stuff! The back wall is all windows so you can look out over the lake while you eat. Very nice. The place is new and has only been open about a month so everything is nice and new. We will go back. read more

This place was okay. We ordered a nacho and a black and bleu burger. The nachos were pretty standard Mexican cheese with jalapeños, ground beef, green onions, sour cream, and tomatoes on it, with salsa and olives on the side. For that, it was okay. The black and bleu burger was pretty good, although you will see extra grease coming from it, probably from the melted cheese. It was also a little smaller than I expected, with the meat patty thicker than normal, which added to a better taste. The chips were good, but could be a little over salted. It was homemade, which is a nice touch. Overall, the highlight was the burger, while the chips and nachos were just okay. read more

In past I've enjoyed coming here with my family. But tonight as I'm currently sitting here the service is horrible. Inattentive, and very slow. It took 45mins to get our starter salads. It's been 1hr 20mins sitting on the patio and we still have not seen our entrees and it's a Monday night. I would've ordered another beer but not provided a beer menu to even order. A table that sat 45mins after use received all their items. Update:: we finally got our food and it was over cooked and cold and the server Sadie just doesn't know her steps of service. We had to ask her for everything as she ran by. The "manager" came out finally but we were just over it. My gf and I have been here several times. The burgers are some of the best in town. We love the Black and Blue medium rare. Yes they will cook to order. Service is hot or miss, they do get quite busy. We usually try to sit at the bar. Plenty of crafts on tap, I only wish there was a list on the wall to make ordering easier. Let me start off by saying the family that owns this place is fantastic. Morgan is one of the best managers in Cincinnati. She loves her customers and takes care of her staff. There are 48 taps here, always great craft options. From their burgers to their wings to their salads to their entrees, you can't go wrong. Also, the view of the lake and 10 acres that this restaurant is sitting on is AMAZING. You will see geese, deer and even a fox if you are lucky. I felt relatively safe eating here. I think they could have spaced people with empty tables between since it wasn't busy. The silverware was wrapped in a napkin, but the forks and knives were uncovered at the top. I ordered something so I wouldn't have to use silverware. I didn't ask for packaged plastic ware. Maybe it was available. The servers and service were excellent and the food was good. I don't understand why they couldn't let patrons in and out the back gate if they didn't want to go inside during the pandemic. I didn't press the matter. This was the first time going here and was excited to try a new place because my mom said she went here a lot growing up. We had probably the most AMAZING server I've ever had named Amber. She was very helpful and never let our drinks get empty. Helped me decide what to get to eat when I was being indecisive because I'm pregnant. And helped the rest of my group find beers that they had never tried and would enjoy. The reason I am leaving a 1 star review is because of how HORRIBLE and rude the manager Erik and owners were. We didn't inform her how to separate our checks at the beginning so she was over at our table a little longer to help make sure our checks were correct and having small talk while our group was checking and her manager Erik pulled her away rudely and yelled at her for being with our group to long. We had noticed the owner and the manager watching our table all night. Clearly we were not part of the "normal crowd" that comes into this location because we are young and don't have thick pockets and drink wine with our pinky's up. At one point the manager brought the group the round of shots that had been ordered and he very rudely called us lushes and walked away. This same manager Erik, we witnessed him multiple times unmasked while on the floor helping people. I am disgusted with how the ownership treats their employees and customers if you are not part of their crowd. Will not recommend this location to anyone. read more

I've given this place 4 opportunities within the last year to impress me. None of them have came even close to that. The final straw was tonight ordering a 12 oz ribeye, cooked medium. The Steak came out Rare, which whatever, I'll deal with it. I just prefer it cooked how I asked, or at least close. I started to eat it and I got about 5 or 6 bites into it, put my silverware down, and didn't pick it up again. It was the worst tasting steak I've ever had. I calmly told the waitress that something was wrong with the steak as well as it wasn't cooked properly. She simply apologized and still brought me my $26 bill. I paid it and I left. I'm rating based on what I was told about the management of Snows. We went for dinner this evening and I ordered a fish sandwich. When the food arrived I was served a fish dinner. I told the server delivering the food my order was incorrect. I said just bring me a bun and we'll be all good! The bartender, who was our server came over and said she was sorry and she placed the order wrong. She said it was her mistake and she had to pay the difference between what I ordered and the dinner. I was surprised. I said so if you make a mistake on a drink you have to pay for that?? She said yes she did. She said if you don't want to pay the difference for the food just don't pay the difference and she would make up the difference. If this is fact that Snows management makes their employees pay if they make a mistake they should be ashamed. If this employee made a false statement, shame on her. As soon as you walk in it advertises craft beer, so we happy. We sit down and start asking questions in the beers. The waitress said they were out of a couple, okay, so our friends ask for others and a sample of another one. She brings the drinks and leaves. We call her back to order appetizers. She seemed put out. My friend clearly did not get the right beer but we were told "well I put it in right" I'll look into it. She ordered a dark beer and this one was pink. Waitress did not come back after this. Our other friend went to find out about getting the sample and then went to check on his wife's beer. She sat for a half hour with the wrong drink. We are our appetizers and our friend went to find the waitress to cancel our dinners and get the check. The manager came over right away and asked if she could help but by then we wanted to leave. The waitress came and threw the check in the table. The two stars are for the appetizers and the manager. read more

The outside tables are very nice with a view of the lake and there is a lot of seating. I ordered a Tito's martini but they were out of olives! So keep in mind this is a beer and wine joint. We had the fried pickles which were awesome. I ordered the taco salad which was supposed to be spicy but was very bland. When food came they were out of silverware! We asked three different people for silverware and finally went and found some on our own as our food was getting cold. We asked if there were any specials and they said "not sure we think it's some kind of fish." There was no wine menu or drink menu at all just a beer menu.
