This place is a pretty decent joint for boba and taiyaki. Their fillings rotate out and I have yet to be disappointed by any of their fillings. Their boba tends to be on the sweeter side though. Service is decent and there's plenty of space to sit down as long as you get there before the teenagers that take up 4 tables with a group of 6 people but that's kind of out of the staff control anyways. Check out the taiyaki if you're a fan but don't go out of your way for their boba imo. read more

Such a fun experience. We enjoyed the atmosphere which is really fun and unique. We tried a lot of different options (and they are very generous with what you get--so I would recommend sharing!) They have interesting flavors, but they are so good. You will have a fun time at Snowl! read more

Snowl offers many yummy asian desserts, including taiyaki and snow bowls with unique flavors! Having recently moved from NY where asian dessert shops are practically on every corner, I was super excited to discover Snowl here in Aurora! Here's a little Taiyaki 101 for beginners: Taiyaki is a Japanese fish-shaped cake that is typically lined or filled with red beans (sweetened azuki beans), and filled with soft serve or ice cream. Snowl offers two filings - red bean or nutella, and offers three ways of serving their soft serve - in a cup alone, in the taiyaki, or in a cup with the taiyaki. When I went they offered milk tea soft serve and matcha. I order my taiyaki in the cup, which I would recommend since you seem to get more ice cream that way. The taiyaki is hollow inside because it can also serve as a "cone" for your soft serve and you can scoop it inside. Compared to some taiyaki places that put all the filling all at the bottom, I prefer Snowl's style where they line all around the inside with nutella or red bean. Snowl does offer some toppings as well, but not very many. I honestly don't think toppings are necessary. Of the two soft serve flavors, I definitely loved the milk tea the best! It tasted just like milk tea (my favorite!). Now on to the snow bowls... shaved snow is typically covered in condensed milk, and can feature many toppings. I had the green tea bowl which included green tea mochi, condensed milk, red beans, and almonds. I have my eye on the fruity bowls, and am definitely planning on trying that next. The green tea bowl was all right, but I think the fruit combinations are better. They offer many flavors including mango, strawberry, chocolate, black sesame, milk, fruit mix, and more. The bowls are HUGE, I highly recommend coming to Snowl with a group of friends so that you can share different flavors. Snowl also offers boba tea drinks. Their tapioca balls were just ok. If you're coming to Snowl, get the taiyaki or snow bowl! The seating space is very spacious and has many cute decorative pieces, including lit clouds hanging from the ceiling. There's plenty of seating and it's a great place for groups! read more

Why did I discover this place ? I guess I'll be saying see ya later to my monies and diet. Came here late on a Thursday night to grab dessert. Place is clean, cute and not noisy so you can easily talk to your friends. Service is quick and friendly. We got the black sesame snow and omg it was heaven to me. Not too sweet the right amount of toppings. Just leave me here to eat everything. I saw they have taiyaki which I will be back to stuff my fave full of more desserts. Great asian dessert place. Love that it's not too sweet. read more

In the former Aurora home of the now-moved English Tea Cup, Snowl Snow Bowl, Taiyaki & Boba - often known simply as Snowl - will (as its name might indicate) serenade you with a cavalcade of drinks, desserts and snacks to tickle your culinary fancies. Before I start gushing, you might be wondering why the proprietress looks so familiar when you walk in. Remember that fun little kiosk inside the Aurora branch of H-Mart called Juicy Pop? Yep, this is a larger project from the same owner! And I'm sure you'll find that it's equally thrilling. Let's start with the beverages, shall we? Snowl offers slushes, smoothies, frappés, etc. in a wide range of flavors. Ones that I have particularly enjoyed include rich butter pecan, comforting pistachio, zingy blue lemonade (this one's especially good with a bit of lychee jelly mixed in), and my go-to boba choice, cookies 'n' cream. I'm a sucker for that last one - what can I say? - and Snowl's rendition has always been a big hit with me. But truly, any kind of drink you pick will titillate you, and they even have mango- and strawberry-flavored popping boba if you really want to let your wild side out (but please, this is a family-friendly place, so let's not get too carried away, m'kay?). As usual however, there's more good stuff to tell you about at Snowl so hang onto your hats while I blab a bit longer. Are you and a friend seeking something light, yet substantial at the same time? Then order one of their gargantuan shaved-ice bowls (Bingsu) with toppings ranging from fruity mango to earthy black sesame. Another idea for you to consider is Taiyaki. Sometimes better known by its Korean name (Bungeoppang), this delicacy consists of a fried waffle-like pastry in the shape of a fish. At Snowl these morsels can be filled with a bit of Nutella or Patso (sweet mashed red beans) and/or augmented with ice cream in flavors like milk tea and honeydew. If you're in the mood for something more savory, don't overlook the Korean street-food sensation Tteokbokki - sliced rice-cakes, eggs, fish-cakes and sausages with cheese in a sauce based on Gochujang (red chile/soybean paste). With so many choices, you'll want to spend quite some time at Snowl. read more

It was my first time at this place and I got the strawberry snowl to go - the consistency of the snow is very soft and fluffy, similar to meet fresh on Colorado . Was excited about the portion sizing, and the interesting mix of flavors, definitely solid- they ran out of the samanco or the fish shaped ice cream sandwiches... I'm definitely coming here next time. Hot spot for boba, everyone ordered boba - lots had the snow slush option - which is perfect in the summer. Definitely coming back to try it again. read more

Love the honey melon , coconut or green milk tea - AWESOME SERVICE during these trying times

What a cute concept! I had the matcha ice cream in the taiyaki with Nutella. Delicious!! I saw the Snowl bowls and they looked delicious. Lots of fresh flavors. I wish they had more toppings for the taiyaki, but overall this place was fun and tasty. read more

We got ice cream and bubble tea at Snowls because grocery shopping is exhausting, but really I'm just making an excuse to have dessert. I got a fish milk tea ice cream (taiyaki with ice cream) and match green tea w/boba even though we were really trying to get regular green tea. The place was spacious and nicely decorated. What I wish could have been different would be if they have other toppings for their soft serve, such as their shave ice toppings, and a regular green tea. It doesn't seem like tea is their forte, especially since is drink came out warm and they didn't have that many tea flavors, but the boba had a good chew. Im thinking next time we'll try the shave ice. read more

I don't think you'll find better in Colorado, which is saying something and nothing at the same time. I would say this is pretty authentic Korean shaved ice whereas Snowlab seems to be more Taiwanese shaved ice. We got the Mango which was delicious but I would like to try to red-bean shaved ice the next time I return... which, I shall...... soon! Also: please note that the weird looking red/ green/ blue chairs are SO incredibly comfortable. So comfortable, in fact, I asked an employee as to where they had purchased them. I know. I'm weird. But that's what makes me so charming.......... right? read more

I thought this place was good it wasn't the best place ever but I enjoyed it does not have my favorite boba but the staff was nice and were able to help my family that had never tried boba before it was a fun experience I recommend it to people who want a place to hang out whit there friends or family. read more

I have waited for so long to have tayaki ice cream in Colorado! This is such a fun place and it has all my favorite things: boba, tayaki, ice cream, green tea, korean snacks, nutella!!!! I'm in heaven. It is beautifully decorated and you can tell they put a lot of thought into everything. I go at least twice a week to juicy pop in H Mart for boba, now I can get my ice cream fix here! The owner is so nice. Please come here and give it a try, you will not be disappointed. read more

This place is so cool! The atmosphere and decoration was really trendy. I ordered the taiyaki cookies- some with red bean and some with chocolate. One of the cookies didn't have any filling in it all... but the other 4 were very good! I also shared a green tea snowl with a friend and that was delicious! The wait was a little bit long for ice cream and we didn't come in when it was that busy. Overall I enjoyed my experience here and would definitely recommend it. read more

PRO TIP: Never use their app to preorder. It's a cute place but order in person if you want subpar boba drinks and food. My cousin is visiting from Virginia. Due to time constraints, I used their app to preorder and save time. When we arrived, no one greets you. I noticed people were using self service kiosks but there are no signage or check ins for preorders. Once I got someone's attention, I told them I preordered online. The ill-mannered troll in the back says our order won't be ready because we just placed it at at 12 (bc that's what the ticket says) and they open at 12 and that it would be 30 min. I was taken aback bc of her rudeness bc 1. I preordered at 09:22. 2. Per the app it said our order would be ready at 1215. 3. What's the point of pre ordering then?? Punky Rudester again says that's not what the ticket says and then changes the ETA to 20 minutes. Our drinks were ready pretty immediately. Once our food was ready, she basically told my cousin we couldn't dine in because it was a take out order. I told her it was for dine in. Well, according to their damn ticket, which is their Bible, it says take out and we were not allowed to dine in. I had to call her out for being rude and I had no patience or understanding for her rude ass at this point. The establishment is empty. It's not like seating is a current issue. I'm explaining that I ordered on their app and went step by step selecting "for here". The ill-mannered troll is still fixated on her ticket and says "that's not what the ticket printed out" and the reason why we couldn't dine in was bc the amount of food is more when it is take out vs dine in. I have no idea why there would be a difference in the amount of food but I offered to pay more for it. She declined and said she will allow us to dine in "just this time." I offered to order something again on the app to prove that I selected dine in. She says she doesn't know how to refund the money. She basically insisted there is no possible way the ticket is incorrect and told us we could dine in "just this time but next time order it correctly". Ohhhh little defective child, how much I wanted to dump our order all over your establishment but 2 wrongs don't make a right. Any outsider would be able to size up 2 Asian females, one being pregnant, and our order being $35, that we're not trying to be riffraff at a dessert spot. What a nut. I finally got the email with our order confirmation. Here's proof that your app is glitched and you need to be kinder to your patrons and not so focused on your damn ticket. read more

Love the waffles, can't stand the boba. I don't know what's up with how they're prepping their boba but the texture is completely off. I'm assuming what happens is that they make it fresh in the morning and let it sit so it hardens up and loses it's chewiness. The drinks are incredibly solid, I love the fish shaped waffles and the vibe is amazing. I just wish they'd fix the boba so I'd be able to make it my go to. read more

Their desserts are amazing! The first time I tried it was CRAZY! All I wanted to eat was more, hehe. Try the fish looking waffle with the chocolate inside, with the skewers. Sorry I can't remember the names. Lmao. But it was amazing! read more

Neat joint with good decor. Stumbled upon this place by accident. The boba was real good, although way too sweet but that is easily fixable! The ice cream in the fish mold with Nutella inside was good. They did not have matcha flavor at the time but the milk tea flavor was good. Took a bit too long to make the small order but likely just growing pains. Fun spot to hang with fiends while enjoying some delish boba and shaved ice. read more

Ordered the taiyaki cup with taiyaki soft serve ice cream. It was delicious and it wasn't too dense that I was uncomfortably full at the end. The taro flavor wasn't too sweet and it definitely hit the spot. I chose the red bean filling for the taiyaki. The red bean wasn't overly sweet and the taiyaki cone was nice and fluffy and wasn't stale. You can tell that it was freshly served! Will return! read more

This place is so good! The employees are always very nice. Their portions are HUGE so I would go with at least one other person to share a shaved ice bowl or Taiyaki. I enjoy the red bean Taiyaki and it's nice to be able to take some home for later! read more

I've been here once before (don't have pictures of what I ordered that time), but the taro milk tea was pretty good as for the shaved ice cream it was delicious! I shared with friends who ordered it. This time I have pictures! I ordered the milk tea which was pretty good as well. The milk tea ice cream was pretty good, but it wasn't a smooth, silky textured ice cream as I would've liked it (probably a little too much ice not enough liquid in this batch idk), so to me it was alright, but the taiyaki fish cone was yummy!! That was my favorite part of the whole ice cream. read more

Food: 4 stars Service: 0 stars Overall: 1 star I almost never let bad service make me drop my rating more than a star but this was next level rude. I can put up with rude service when it's just me but they treated my family very poorly so I had to leave a review. Came here with my family just before 1030pm and before we order they tell us they close at 11pm. No problem, we will eat quickly and leave. We get our food at 1045pm and the employee tells us we have to leave by 11pm because she wants to go home. Not sure why you have to tell us that but I get it. It's late and you're tired so we try to eat quickly. 1101pm and they are telling us we need to leave, but not in a polite way. More in a forceful, get out of here tone of voice. We don't like how they speak to us but we understand and ask for to go containers and start to pack up. I return the first of four bowls we used and she sharply asks me where the other 3 bowls are. Before I can tell her we are still on the process of wrapping up, another employee points at our table and forcefully says, "You can't leave. You need to clean your table." At this point we've had enough of this so we tell them we don't appreciate the way they are speaking to us and pushing us out the door. They dig in saying that they told us they are closing at 11pm and that we should've left already. We finish cleaning and leave the store at 1106pm. I've never been to a service related business and been treated like this for going 6 minutes over. Very unfortunate because their food is good. Their dduk kkochi was tasty and the sweet potato cream cheese taiyaki was great. But after the way they treated my family, I'm never going back there. read more

Snow + Bowl = Snowl... This is my translation of their business name and so far I have been here multiple times with my friends. I have lived most of my life in Korea and honestly, this is the closest dessert place like the ones in Korea or Taiwan. As soon as you walk in, this place has a great atmosphere with cute interior elements, and it is very modern and chic to enjoy your desserts with your friends. Customer base is also very dinamic and diverse...from children to elderlies...they seem very very popular despite any ethnicity. Located on the Havana street and especially an area/block where couple other foreign restaurants are present(Korean Fried Chicken place, Japanese Ramen place, Korean all-you-can-eat bbq restaurant, plus 7eleven), i think this place is more than adequate for a dessert place after dining out. I always go for their Misugaru(blended beans) snow bowl and fish-shaped bread filled with red beans. Try their smoothies too they have a variety of flavors. My personal advice and warning is that they could be a little too crowded and no seats available during dining-out-prime-time. Korean owned, Korean dessert-inspired, such a friendly staff and adorable atmosphere! The only reason i give them 4 stars is because of their price(a little bit pricy) and a long line to get a dessert- but just get that dessert! They won't disappoint you. read more

I think Snowl was designed with social media in mind because it seems like every corner has a staple of the perfect aesthetic restaurant. This was also the first place (and only) I have had Taiyaki, those adorable fish shaped cones. I had it filled with red bean paste, taro and covered in fruity pebbles. The cone was so good because it wasn't overly sweet. That was probably my favorite thing that while I was eating dessert, it wasn't sickly sweet. Plus, the place was packed but I easily got a seat and just enjoyed people-watching the other influencers. read more
