From my favorite, Kurodai to Aburi Salmon to Hotate to Kampachi to Bincho, had this place been a fancy restaurant they might get considered for a Michelin star dining spot. But some restaurants want to stay humble as they want to stay away from the spotlight so I get it. In a way, this is my neighborhood sushi restaurant that I can count on. I don't want them to be more than what they are now to be frank. Good and efficient service. They always treat me well with respect and regard. Small and yet clean tidy ambience is always appreciated. I always do takeouts; I don't think I have never dined here to be frank. Some pieces fall into epic culinary but for the most part its just great sushi. Yellowtail is delicious, and more rare cuts (fatty versions) are usually a step up. I've never had a bad bite here, and love that its near park meadows. Seating hasn't been an issue when I go in, and noise is usually low. I could see at its peak being a bit less intimate. Being right off the mall parking is sometime challenging but never horrible. Highly recommend happy hour for the sushi deals, just don't steal my seat.
