This is our third visit to Snowflake Inn and the perfect spot for us to connect and enjoy each other's company. Since it's an adult only inn, my husband and I enjoy the escape from the "real world." Marybeth and the team at the Inn are friendly and helpful. When we told her we were celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary, she put us in her favorite room. We can see why it's her favorite and we'll definitely request it from now on. There's plenty to do in the area; whether you want to stay in the room and relax in your two-person jacuzzi tub, go hiking, or shopping, the options are endless and all within a short distance.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Snowflake Inn for a winter weekend getaway, and my experience was positively dreamy. I highly recommend visiting this delightful inn located in Jackson, New Hampshire. Sue Method, the owner, and Carrie and Eric, the inn's caretakers, are kind, hospitable, and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Carrie assisted us with restaurant and activity recommendations, and even supplied us with crampons for some winter hiking. Our suite was cozy, clean, and warm. The radiant heating and fireplace made it snug, plus the in-room jacuzzi was wonderful to soak in at night. The bed was comfortable and we woke up rested and ready for a day of exploring. The inn provided a delightful continental breakfast including homemade granola, yogurt, fresh fruit, assorted cheeses, pastries, oatmeal, and a selection of coffee and teas. After breakfast, we toured around Jackon and visited the village of North Conway, where you can find adorable shops and cafes. We did some winter hiking at Diana's Baths and saw spectacular views of the snow-capped White Mountains. Fortunately for us, it had snowed the night before so the trails were untouched. The sunshine and bluebird sky complemented the natural beauty. A drive up north will offer even more stunning mountain views. At dusk, we tucked into the White Mountains Cider Company in Bartlett, NH for specialty apple cider drinks. After our tasty cocktails, we enjoyed a flavorful, hearty meal at the Red Fox Bar & Grille. The grilled haddock and mashed carrots and turnips were delicious. Following our meal, we checked out the nearby Nestlenook Farm. In the wintertime, the farm offers private and group winter sleigh rides, ice skating, toasting marshmallows at the fire pits, and snowshoeing. My companion and I took a ride on a private sleigh ride through the enchanting forest. The sparkling tree lights and peaceful music made us feel like we were in a real-life winter wonderland. Cuddling under a blanket and sipping on champagne was an experience neither of us will soon forget. Other amenities the inn provides is the Wellness Zone fitness center and a heated whirlpool spa. While we were sad to leave this winter oasis, we felt rejuvenated and prepared to get back to reality. Our weekend was one-of-a-kind, and it's no wonder the Snowflake Inn was voted 2023's best boutique inn and romantic getaway.

Great place to stay for a romantic getaway. We got a great deal that included champagne and chocolates. The jacuzzi tub was awesome and very clean. It came with a rose and bath salts. The floors are also heated, there's a fireplace in the room and a two-person shower. I mean, what else do you need? We found everything to be very comfortable, we loved the tub, even brought some LUSH bath bombs and watched movies from their huge (and free) DVD library. Location is GREAT too! Oh and the constant supply of cookies, coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby ain't too shabby either! You can treat the place like home, grabbing a glass of water, corkscrews, mugs, glasses etc as you need them which I thought was really nice.

My boyfriend and did a one night stay here for a nice day trip. We were absolutely blown away by everything in the Snowflake Inn. Walking in, felt like a Home away from home, with beautiful decor and the smell of cider inviting us in. Talking with the owner at the front desk while Checking in was like talking to a friend, so friendly and conversational and told us everything we needed to know. Our room was absolutely amazing! Probably one of the best hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. With a huge king bed, there was a beautiful electric fire place and next to the bed was our own jacuzzi tub with little candles. There was even a note in our room with information about everything we needed to know hotel-wise and for things around. The best addition was the bathrobes! It was like being in a spa, so relaxing and so clean and comfortable. We loved everything about this place.

I've read numerous reviews stating how romantic it is, so I won't keep repeating that fact. The Inn's owners have taken a great deal of time and expense in furnishing the entire location. My wife and I just spent three evenings, and it was very enjoyable. The soft music played ever so lightly near all entrances and sitting areas is a very nice touch. To be fair, I want to point out some things that travelers should know. If you have difficulty walking, you'll want to ask for a first floor room; you may not be able to use the steps from the parking lot because they are high, so parking out front may work best for you. There are no safes or fridges in rooms but mgmt may accommodate you; I just kept re-icing our cooler and it worked well. There are separate thermostats for heat and cool so ensure you're adjusting the correct one for comfort. If you're tall, be careful with the top support bar of the shower stall; you can easily crack your head on it. Also, there are no security rails next to the commode and the toilet paper holder is free-standing, so be careful when getting up. Please don't think that this review is just about complaints or being nit-picky. I just state what we experienced. As I said, we enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again should we find ourselves in the Jackson area again. There were numerous homey touches that place this Inn above and beyond all of the other cookie cutter chains out there.

An amazing night. The inn was spotlessly clean. They had fresh coffee and tea out and a fire in the fireplace.( A nice touch on a cold night). The woman at the desk was very friendly and welcoming. We forgot to bring a cork screw and one of the staff showed us a draw with a bunch for people to use... A great idea!!! Our room was on the second floor near the pool table. ( Which we never once heard, even though we saw a couple of people playing it as we entered the room)! The room was clean. The fireplace was nice. 2 person tub with a fresh rose, heart swan towels and candles near it, was a romantic touch. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. Bathroom was large and has a 2 person shower. Little front room had a table ,chair and sofa. Breakfast was fresh fruit, juice, coffee, tea yogurt and muffins or scones. Warm and fresh.

We have previously stayed…read moreat the Omni Mount Washington on similar visits, but this time, I wanted a bigger room and to be closer to Story Land. This fit the bill, for about half the cost I rented one of the Fairlawn cottage suites, which included an updated guest room with a king sized bed; gas fireplace; a separate little living area with a pullout couch, which could be closed off by a set of glass French doors; and most importantly, our own private outdoor hot tub on a little covered porch off the bathroom (huge hit). My son and I were both very comfortable sharing this large, luxurious feeling space. The $30 per night resort fee includes access to amenities like a heated outdoor pool, which looked nice (we didn't use it, due to cooler air temps during our stay), various sports like tennis (which we also didn't use) and a shared self-serve pantry downstairs, for soft drinks, snacks and basic breakfast items. I agree with other posters who said that the pantry included nice choices but was not stocked consistently. On our first night, there was a nice selection of gelato in the freezer. The second night it was empty. On our second morning, they were super low on caffeinated coffee pods at 7 am, so I rationed my portions in consideration of other guests. The main restaurant looked too fancy for my five year old, but I wanted to check out the on site dining options so I made a reservation to eat at the Alpine Lodge for night two. We arrived just before 6, after a long day at Story Land. There was no one around to greet us or take us to our table. I waited around for a while, then guided my son to one of the many open tables. There was calm but upbeat live music, which we both liked. The bartender was warm, kind and also clearly overwhelmed. I tried to get the attention of the lounge server but she completely ignored us. It took close to two hours to get a cheeseburger and a plate of chicken tenders. I didn't even complain, but the bartender still comped one of my glasses of wine and was super apologetic. Overall, there were a couple of minor kinks but the inn felt like a great value. I've already recommended it to friends and family members and would stay there again.

The onsite restaurants are both excellent and the bar has a nice vibe. The bar closes a little early for our taste, but that's not the end of the world. We are so glad that we did because it's become our favorite resort-type experience in the White Mtns.

This is one of our favorite spots, as it is such a relaxing and welcoming place. Our technicians were Meaghan and Heather, who both did a wonderful job. They made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our services. We appreciated being able to use the steam room and shower following the services, with their lovely shampure products. We felt so rejuvenated upon leaving here. In past visits, we were able to get more services and at longer durations. Unfortunately, that has changed. This wasn't communicated and there was an issue with scheduling our services. When we received the initial confirmation, everything looked fine (services and durations) aside from it stating "body polish" instead of "body scrub". I was assured that it would be a scrub, regardless of what the confirmation said. Unfortunately, the day before our services the confirmation email had different durations of services. When I called to inquire, I hadn't received a call back, however it was addressed immediately upon our arrival. They noted that our call was received and said they figured they would wait until they saw us. I wish it had been addressed ahead of time, as we had to make a quick decision on the spot regarding our services. I would have preferred time to think it over. Also, the polish was in fact a polish and not a scrub, which was not what was wanted nor expected. Overall, we had a great time and would go back! This has become a staple for our white mountain trips. The services are always great, the staff is always friendly, and we always leave feeling refreshed! The only downside was the lack of communication/scheduling error, which has never been a problem in our countless other visits here.

Unfortunately, our actual stay was very disappointing due to the management. We booked one of the barn rooms, and I would strongly advise against ever booking in that section. While most of the staff were friendly and helpful, the General Manager, Abe, was rude and unprofessional. On our first night, we received a noise complaint. We were up late due to jet lag, but were not being excessively loud. After a neighbor banged on the wall, I quickly received a text from Abe asking us to keep the volume down. Thinking it was an automated system, we immediately complied and kept everything quiet for the rest of the night. The next morning, around 8am, Abe came banging on our door as aggressively as possible. His exact first words were, "I'm asking you to check out today." He said we had been making noise "all night" and "banging on walls." Neither of those things were true. Once he finally introduced himself as the GM, I calmly explained that we lowered our volume as soon as we received the text and that we never banged on any walls. Instead of listening, he dismissed our explanation and began lecturing me in a disrespectful and hostile manner. To try to evict paying guests early in the morning, on the day of a wedding, without hearing both sides of the situation, is completely unacceptable. This experience left a very sour impression of the property. The surroundings are beautiful, and the other staff members were pleasant, but the GM's behavior ruined what should have been a positive stay. I cannot recommend staying here, especially when there are likely other inns in the area with far better management and respect for their guests.
