We booked a log cabin this weekend that just passed. The room was clean. It was awesome. You could totally earn romance points for this room. Gary made the booking for us. I cannot stress enough how important customer service is for a business and Gary makes you feel welcome. The area is 5 minutes away from the north conway strip so its perfect. You go do your thing in town and and drive back to heaven in a cinch. Me and my wife are grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here. We will be back. read more

Love coming here! Its in a great location less than 10 minutes from downtown North Conway. We typically stay in the log cabin building across the way. The restaurant on property also gives preferred seating too guests! We also like the deal you're able to get for staying here and booking snowmobile tour with Northern Extreme. The only complaint we had was they no longer have the breakfast area that was likely a result of covid. read more

On the 2nd night we locked the keys in the cabin, didn't realize it until we came back from dinner. I called the emergency line number and was not able to leave a message, the mailbox was full. Agree trying this number a couple of times, I drove over to Tuckerman's Tavern and the manager at the restaurant was able to give me a spare key. We were very thankful for this. I let her know that nobody is picking up on the emergency line, she said she will let management know. The next day we checked out and I brought both keys to Kathy in the office. I let her know what happened and she really didn't seem to care. She said how lucky we were to get the 2nd set from Tuckerman's. I told her that this isn't what I wanted to hear from her, it could have been bad since my husband is a diabetic and his insulin is in the refrigerator. She just said glad it worked out and I'll let management know. The place was nice and we stayed there before, but knowing that if you locked yourself out or had any issue after hours and nobody was coming is extremely unsettling. I would not stay here again because of this. I never got a call back from anyone. read more

Used to be my husband and I's go to for lodging anytime we wanted to take a trip to NH. However, now the place is completely unaffordable. A 5 night stay a year ago was less than $1200 and now it's closer to $1900+. Just unbelievable. What a shame and waste of a once true gem of NH. read more

Very comfortable accommodations for our family. I loved having a private bedroom for my husband and I, while the kids had so much fun on the loft. The pool was a very close walk. The pool room was warm and toasty and the pool was probably around 83 degrees. My kids had a blast. Customer service was also excellent and very accommodating. The location was wonderful also, near North Conway, but serene surroundings. I would definitely stay here again! We did not get a chance to try the restaurant. read more

I was so disappointed with New England Inn & Lodges in Intervale. Especially after reading all the great reviews on trip advisor. Even contacted the Better Business Bureau and they didn't respond. Our room stunk literally and figuratively. The smell was musty. The giant dehumidifier in the bedroom was a sign that there was a moisture issue. We had several issues. * Bathroom fan noisy like there is a blade hitting something * Alarm clock was set an HOUR EARLY - woke my family up at 6am instead of 7am * I would have checked my phone for the time but the outlet that I plugged my charger in didn't work - so I had a dead phone * Bed was lumpy and sagging in the middle * Wayfair linens must be 20 years old *One roll of toilet paper for a family of 5 * 4 towels for 5 guests * Coffee maker in bathroom * Sink was stained and cracked * Loft where our 3 teens slept was hot and no air circulation - they had 3 fans in the room * Furniture missing handles * Kids beds were so noisy - springs and all * Furniture was so OLD! * Room just felt dirty it was old, stinky and dated * Most importantly, back door would not open ("when I called to let them know their exact words, it not supposed to open.") What if there was an emergency? * Breakfast was supposed to be included (wasn't) * No mountain views (I didn't expect them but for what we paid - I wish I booked elsewhere) Awful, I called at 8am to ask where breakfast was, complain about the smell and inability to open the back door, lack of toilet paper and ask for another towel. No one was at the front desk, so I emailed them. I received a vmail from Gary saying he wanted to rectify the problem. However, when I called back to speak to him I was told that tp and towel was left at our room and where to find a decent breakfast (or should I drink the coffee in the bathroom) What really ticked me off is when she said that the back door isn't supposed to open . This makes no sense - what if there was an emergency? We paid nearly $400 for two nights. It was bad! We have stayed in North Conway for years. This place was run-down, and they didn't even try to make it right. I even sent a second email with all the issues...crickets. Even invited the manager to come by and take a whiff of the room. Come to this beautiful area but STAY WAY FROM NEW ENGLAND INN AND LODGES. read more

This is a WONDERFUL place to stay. We happened upon it accidentally while looking for a restaurant, and their restaurant was memorably amazing, so when we wanted to return to the area this was the obvious choice. Rooms are in little cabins, with some for families and little kids, and some for adults only. The cabins are not rustic, but like little two family houses. Everything was immaculately clean and in great condition. Rooms were bright and sweetly decorated. Ours had a king size bed with a beautiful twin trundle bed for two kids in the other room. The bathroom was great (shower pressure, my husband's pet peeve, was awesome) and there was both an excellent air conditioner and a gas fire place and heater to provide for any weather. Continental breakfast was particularly great the next morning. All the baked goods were really high quality (carrot zucchini muffins, fruit muffins, sweet breads, excellent danish) and fresh and moist. Excellent selection of fresh fruit, lots of cereal choices, yogurt, bagels and toppings. Friendly and accommodating. So close to lots of fun things to do, and everything beautifully kept and updated. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and really went out of their way to make our short stay excellent. Plus, their restaurant is worth a separate beautiful review. In a countryside full of motels and inns of wildly varying quality, this is particularly excellent. read more

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon this week! There are a million places to stay but he chose the NE inn because we could get our very own log cabin and its in the white mountains near Crawford Notch. The log cabin was lovely and was spacious. It had a hot tub and fireplace. The hot tub was nice (fit two ppl) but the jets were lacking. The fireplace was gas but the flames were pretty tiny. It heated well but wasn't as romantic as we had hoped. The bed was also super super hard! I slept with a pillow under my knees and that helped. They have a tavern attached to the main building. The food was good there, open 3-9:30 or later depending on customers. We paid to have breakfast everyday (love how it's "included" but you see what you're paying when signing the contract). It was tasty, nothing complicated but what you got was good! Service was friendly. We'd go back. It wasn't perfect but I didn't feel like there were bed bugs, nasty stains or toe nail clippings! Maid service to make the bed and such was a nice thing too. Just remember to hang out your sign! read more

Had booked at Swiss Chalet and they cancelled our reservation at 5pm on a Saturday due to overbooking. They tried to put us at a shady motel down the street. Took a chance and swung into the office here, met the cheerful Liz, booked immediately. Very lovely place, private suites, super friendly. I love it. Highly recommended! Location is quiet and easy to get around. $50 lower price than Swiss Chalet too! Loved hanging out on the porch. Everyone seems happy here! read more

My husband and I absolutely LOVE it here.... we come up for our anniversary most years, and it's the absolute perfect location..... we always stay in the lodge because it just has that New Hampshire 'feel' to it... the room is beautiful, huge bed, gas fireplace, jacuzzi tub... I do agree with some other people who left reviews, though, that the bed is very hard and not very comfortable and the pillows are too soft and droopy... but it's a small price to pay for being in this room. Also, the coffee makers are tiny and ours didn't work, the coffee pooled in the filter area and didn't drip down into the carafe... it would be great if they would replace all the coffee makers to the 'regular' size ones. That being said, this place is next to absolutely everything, and it's great to have Tuckermann's right across the street if you don't want to drive to have dinner and/or drinks. It's just a beautiful place to stay, and I really feel like I'm in New Hampshire when I stay there..... The hard mattress and the non-working coffee maker wouldn't ever make me NOT stay here.... read more

My boyfriend and I stayed in the lovely and tastefully rustic loft cabin. The Jacuzzi was great and the bed was huge and very comfortable. If you're looking to stay in a quaint inn/lodge for a romantic weekend in N. Conway I'd recommend this place. New England Inn Consisting of the original inn with the original breakfast room and a big addition containing the bar and new restaurant area, ten or twelve log cabin cottages and a brand new 12 room lodge and a separate building with an indoor swimming pool, the New England Inn is a destination to be reckoned with. Our cottage was mammoth with a king bed, couch, wing chair, wall mounted flat screen, gas fireplace, refrigerator and wet bar area, whirlpool tub, double sized shower enclosure and easy to deal with air conditioner. The restaurant/bar was about 400 yards away and I'll review it separately. Staff were incredibly helpful. Half way through our stay we have decided there is no place else we want to stay the next time we're in the Valley. Continental breakfast in cute room with bow windows. Fruit, bagels, home made baked goods, cereals and for protein, cream cheese and yogurt. Plenty to get you started. NEGATIVES: the curtains were all white and there were no shades so the summer sun, despite being filtered by the trees, was quite bright for sleeping late. The Inn seems to be in a semi dead zone for Verizon meaning one could text but not call. Email could only get narrative and a face Book was out. Inn had WIFI but we were never able to sign in. We absolutely LOVE The New England Inn! This was our 2nd year coming up for a weekend in the white mountains and our 2nd time staying at The New England Inn. We have stayed in their adult only lodges both times with a big loft bedroom, jacuzzi in the room and fireplace. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and the continental breakfast is top notch, especially the homemade granola! They have cabins and rooms in the Inn as well, but we love the lodge, so we wouldn't chose anything else. The only reason for a lost star is that the beds could be replaced as they are a little hard and they need much fluffier and newer pillows!! All in all, we love coming up here to stay at the New England and do a bunch of fun winter activities. Their snowmobile packages with Northern Extremes are great as well! We have stayed here a few times now and we will continue to make this place our home away from home. The rooms are always cozy and clean but its the staff who are truly outstanding. Time after time, they prove to be helpful and kind as we navigate our weekend getaways. This weekend we had our new pup with us and they were so welcoming. We left the dog bowl in the room and got a call shortly after checking out to inform us that it would be waiting behind the desk. This place is a hidden gem. We LOVED it. The people working there were amazing and they have the best customer service! I was there with my husband and 2 year old. I forgot my daughters blanket and teddy bear and they mailed it to my house!! I was so excited as it was one of her favorite blankets! The location is perfect and the restaurant there had great food! I can't say enough about this place. My fiancé and I went for a 4 day respite from life and we loved this inn! We stayed in a jacuzzi log cabin with a fireplace and 2-person jacuzzi tub. Our room was super clean and amazingly nice. The free continental breakfast was yummy, including the home made granola. We also ate at the on-site restaurant, Tuckerman's, and were not disappointed. Dinner was fantastic. Sadly, we were too busy relaxing to try out the pool, but it looked very nice. And Gary and the rest of our hosts were warm and welcoming. We honestly felt more like family than guests. The ONLY complaint we had is that our room did not get the free wifi signal. It was available almost everywhere but on the side of the street where our cabin was. They might want to consider an extender. But, all in all, I would give this place 10 stars if I could! read more

My husband and I were married atop Cathedral Ledge in 2000 and have been going to the New England Inn for our wedding anniversary each year ever since. We won't stay anyplace else! We just got back from our latest experience. We stayed for 2 nights in the Beaver Log Cabin. It was nothing short of fantastic! Carol greeted us at the desk at check in and made us feel very welcome. Upon request, she gave us extra towels because I spend a lot of time in the jacuzzi. Our cabin was as clean as a whistle. The jacuzzi was also fabulous! I was in there so many times, I thought my skin would melt off. Since our last visit, the tv's have all been upgraded from the old style to 43" Samsung flat screen. We had breakfast in the main inn and Gary was a great host...even stopping by our table for conversation and to check with us to make sure we were happy with our accommodation. The fireplace was a great touch, especially because it was a rainy and cold 2 days. We didn't mind the rain. It gave us a good excuse to stay right in the cabin! Tuckerman's Tavern is on the same property so, all we had to do is get out of the Jacuzzi, dry off, get dressed and we were sipping martini's and eating delicious food in a matter of minutes. With the accommodations so inviting and the tavern right across the street, why would anyone ever want to go elsewhere?? We have the best of both worlds right there at the New England Inn. If you are on Yelp because you want to check out reviews to see if the place is worth going to....don't think twice. I have a bad back and woke up every morning refreshed because the mattress on our bed was perfect! In future, when we go I am requesting the Beaver Cabin! One of the best experiences I've had! I planned a surprise getaway for my boyfriends birthday. We got one of the log cabins with jacuzzi and fireplace. I had told Liz and Gary that it was a surprise and they were great with helping me setup everything. The log cabin was so cozy and beauitful--the pictures i saw online really don't do it justice! The next day i surprised my boyfriend with snowmobiling which was part of the package i got...it was amazing! It is very close to downtown n.conway but just far enough where you feel you have privacy. We honestly didn't want to leave...we will be escaping here multiple times a year! read more

This was our first stay at the New England Inn and Lodge and we loved everything about it except the mattress is just too hard. Wasn't comfortable sleeping. We stayed last September as an anniversary getaway, happened to stumble upon it on the internet. We stayed in a cabin next to the lodge and were amazed. We were greeted with friendly, smiling faces throughout our stay. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and was clean. We enjoyed our stay so much we visited with another couple in May. They enjoyed the stay as much as we did. We are hoping to make it an annually traditional of ours. Love how it's off the beating path, but close to everything if you want to venture out. read more

We stayed there for 3 nights and it was great. We stayed in a woodland cottage which was really cute. Perfect amount of room. Gas fireplace was nice but it was a little annoying to have it on a timer (you can set it for anywhere up to 60 minutes and then it auto shuts off as a safety precaution which I get/fire hazard). The Jacuzzi tub looked a lot bigger in the picture than in real life. I am not a big person but tall, and I had just enough room in there by myself. There was no way 2 people were fitting in that together unless they were little. Maybe the Jacuzzi in the Log Cabins or Lodge Rooms are bigger though? Our bed wasn't bad at all, fine for 3 nights. Couch was pretty outdated though and sunk down a lot when sitting, but I just put the accent pillows on the seat and sat on top of them as well to prevent me from sinking down into it. Flat screen Television was nice. It was the perfect location because it was close enough to North Conway but it was also really close to Jackson and Bretton woods. I would definitely recommend this place. Tuckerman's tavern was packed Friday and sat and even on sun night. You can tell it is a great local hang out and they had good food as well. Liz and Gary the inn keepers were extremely enthusiastic about their jobs which was refreshing. They made you feel welcome and were knowledgeable about the Inn and the town. read more
