Excellent!! I'll be back. The grounds and rooms were immaculately clean and sparkling. The pool was very clean and also sparkled. While I was there it was cleaned everyday. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were large for the area. The staff was very friendly, competent and positively upbeat. It is located two minutes from Clarke's Trading Post and way less than an hour from Santa's Village. There are many restaurants nearby. The lodging is affordably priced. read more

Nice place for a weekend in the mountains- good location, nice owners, clean and well appointed rooms. We stayed in a 2 bed motel unit with good size fridge and microwave. Very comfortable furnishings inc L shaped couch and mini split AC. 2nd bed separated by a sliding barn door setup. Grounds are lovely, nice pool area with fire pit, plenty of outdoor seating near the units. Looking forward to staying here next year :-) read more

We were warmly welcomed by the very helpful Susan the afternoon we arrived and settled into our cabin. We unpacked our cooler and then relaxed on our screened porch to enjoy the wonderful sound of the river gurgling over the rocks. After relaxing a bit from our drive we decided to go out in search of some charcoal and fire up the grill right next to our cabin. A short trek into town and we found some in the nearby Family Dollar, having decided to skip searching in the huge Costco next door. So, back to enjoy the riverside cabin and the river sound. As we made dinner, we were pleasantly surprised to see the cabin was packed with everything needed to cook & eat, from spatulas to sharp knives to dishes. The accommodations are comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing riverside. The owners are clearly working on improving the grounds and buildings little by little. We enjoyed our quick dip in the pool one afternoon but skipped a return trip another time as it was a bit busy from a large group with a number of kids of varying ages... not so relaxing for this couple LOL. It was fun to read the history of the pool too. The location is also very convenient to nearby attractions, but removed enough from the road to be a quiet place to rest our heads after a busy day of exploring the Franconia Notch region. We had some good rainfall one day of our stay, so the river rose and we really enjoyed watching & listening to the the rush of the water over the rocks. Definitely a reason this location has been popular for decades! read more

I've stayed at this location multiple times and I have to say that it has been a phenomenal stay each time! The lodging includes a motel area as well as cabins. I have stayed in the motel room that included a cute screen porch! The pricing is perfect and the motel exceeded all of my expectations. There was a microwave and coffee maker in the room which was great! The special thing about this place is the river that runs right behind it. It was perfect for my stays here and I thoroughly enjoyed how relaxing it was. I highly recommend staying here! It's a treasure of a spot:) read more

I rented a cabin with my BF for Labor Day weekend. It wasy great. It was a little room with a bed, kitchenette, TV and bathroom, but at the back had a little screened in porch that sits right on the Pemi River. I was skeptical because there were a lot of families with little kids, and I'm a cranky person who doesn't like to wake up early to the sound of kids crying and shouting, but I could only hear the sounds of the river. The owners were very nice. We brought bikes and were able to bike to breakfast and around the area. It's a little rustic, but had everything I needed for a holiday weekend getaway. read more

Oh boy where to start... One of our company found themselves locked out within mere moments of arrival and was generously helped to a new key courtesy of the pleasant gentleman working the front desk. Then the rest of the troop arrived after dark but we still managed to enjoy the river right away. Even prior to unpacking. It was slightly below expectations but that may have been because it was dark. On our euphoric stroll back to the room we were courteously welcomed to join some inebriated folk at the campfire by the pond. Such pleasant and friendly company. The rooms were very quaint and cozy, and the heat was already more than sufficient. The bed was made, but we found it a little creaky and unstable, not to mention the lampshade had some trouble staying its mount. In the morning the shower was perfectly cozy for two. And the towels! How cute! His and hers scaled appropriately. How did they know? And a microwave, fridge and bible! not to mention a coffee maker that went unused unfortunately. The chairs in the sitting room were like velvet, and cutely arranged next to a table with a radio with one station that came in for the most part. Best part - the porch. What a hi-light of this place. It was warm but breezy, cozy but spacious, excellent acoustics. Wow. The pool looked great but was closed for the season, but we were able to imagine how great it's be to splash around in. This campus also had excellent proximity to great exploration and nature sites, and we enjoyed hiking Mt. Lafayette the second day of our stay. Also, there was a great gazebo to smoke in with an excellent view of the entire campus, including the wooden bear and moose cut-outs. We would definitely lodge here again, perhaps even upgrade to a cabin! Will try to post some pictures from our stay as well. And I just have to add in an extra bit about the nearby Clark's Trading Post. Words cannot describe the natural wonders you'll find at Clark's. AND IT'S LITERALLY JUST MINUTES DOWN THE ROAD. You could even walk there. There are live bears that will do tricks for you and A MAGICAL TRAIN RIDE. No kidding. We weren't able to afford the well-worth-it entrance fee of $19, but as we walked along the border fence by the parking lot we were able to live vicariously through the children inside enjoying the wonders. read more

Love this place! Located (Exit 33) ideally between the Lincoln town (Exit 32) and Franconia State Park (Exit 34), the hotel is away from the cluster of hotels just a mile away. It's off the road in a residential area and right next to the Pemigewasset River. The cabins are simple and fully equipped with fan, heater, frig, microwave, portable stove, plates and utensils. On the outside, every cabin has its own BBQ stove. The motel itself has a rather nice size pool, and a campfire place where you can buy fire woods and light up at night. The best part is that the river is right behind every cabin, quite literally just steps away, falling asleep to the sound of running water is a definite treat. There are large rocks on the river, where you can climb to and have a nice picnic right on the river. read more

Stayed here one night in the Spring and was so pleased. We had a cabin and the space was just the right size, comfortable and clean. I loved falling asleep and waking up to the sound of nature and rushing water from the river behind the cabin which was accessible by a little screened in porch in the back. We arrived late since we drove up to Lincoln from Boston after work on a Friday, and the owners made us feel welcome and comfortable. Great hospitality. I definitely plan to stay here again on future visits to Franconia Notch. read more

Love staying here! So peaceful, and can actually obtain a full nights sleep with the calming sounds of the river. The Peterson family are extremely friendly and sincere. Little sweet extras I noticed during my recent visit: -Huge basket of clean bike rags left outside in picnic area for incoming bikers. Not a biker but would be very happy to see those if I was. (This was during Laconia Bike Week) -Fresh chopped fire wood laid out each morning for the fire pit guests could use at night. -Picnic tables were topped each morning with a new Citronella candle in super cute lime green/pink holders. -Motel rooms now include a mini fridge and microwave. Didn't use the microwave but the mini fridge came in handy to keep a few cold ones, well cold ;-) -Knocked on our door a few times to ensure we always had fresh towels. Loved that. Very clean. Family friendly. Close to all major attractions. Highly recommend Mt. Liberty for anyone unsure of where to stay in the White Mountains! read more

Stayed here Cabin 7, Madison, with my sweetheart on a romantic getaway this last weekend of September. The cabin was perfect. Rustic in style but well equipped with kitchen table, mini fridge, double electric burner, small sink, toaster, coffee pot, microwave, and all utensils, plates cups ect... Private bathroom with stall shower, all towels supplied, and small built in electric heater for cooler mornings and evenings. Cable tv, WiFi, and a box fan for comfort. Off of the main room in back is a screened in porch offering a table and chairs overlooking the Pemigewasset river which can be heard beautifully even inside with the door open. Its an easy walk for a refreshing adventure to explore it. The staff is friendly and wonderful, prices are fair, cabins are clean well equipped and close to town. I will definitely be going back there! read more

The Best! Comfortable, Quiet, CLEAN, Great Cabins! Planned a family trip to hike Mt Lafayette with grown sons. I searched Yelp and Tripadvisor for where to stay. Mt Liberty was only place that fit the bill. Book this from Mt Liberty site to see all your options of cabins. We had a cabin, with a king, bunk beds, and 2 twins up in loft. Lonesome lake cabin was modern, well kept, made of solid wood, with great dining table, kitchen, sofa, comfortable beds, etc. This place was SPOTLESS. I called while in 2 hour line to pick up car at Logan. Delay caused us to be later than anticipated to Mt Liberty. Paul and Carolyn were so kind, as to stay open 10 minutes later than closing to greet us. They had already turned the heat on in the cabin, too. Paul and Carolyn also have a wealth of knowledge on the area and the hikes. We all look forward to other trips to Mt Liberty Motel and Cabins, Franconia Park, and White Mountains! My father used to bring us here as kids and I have returned twice with my own family. It is perfection because there is a pool and there is the river behind the motel and cabins. It is very close to Clark's Trading Post, you can even hear the Wolfman yelling and shooting his gun. It is right off the highway. Very convenient, clean, comfortable and affordable. read more

Spacious doesn't even begin to describe the room we were in this trip! The new owners are friendly and so kind. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river and the views were AMAZING. To listen to the river at night was likely one of the most peaceful experiences I've had at a motel. The room was large and spacious. The rates were great. Ice was available by the bag for us which was so helpful. The only thing I can say is it is older and could use some updating - so don't go thinking it's going to be fancy. It's a basic motel that will meet your needs. There is a pool, a swingset, and plenty of outdoor seating. Picnic tables, a gazebo and a fire pit for your use. read more

We recently stayed here trying a new place as we love Lincoln and have been coming for a few years. It's under new management but the cabins are in desperate need of repair not just a makeover major repairs. Husband walked up steps to cabin and held the rail which fell off - safety? The cabin touted a screen porch overlooking Pemi that was ripped completely up the side which they attempted to "fix" with masking tape! Deck looked so old I was afraid it might collapse. Shower was so small hubby had to put his legs outside to wash them there was barely enough room to stand. Refrigerator was probably forty years old. Overheard light was broken. The roofs need to be replaced it's painfully obvious especially to withstand New Hampshire winters. The chairs were vinyl hard back waiting room chairs. Lastly owners put a sign requesting guests not take soap and shampoo bottles so they can re- use them and said it costs &12.50 to replace! Not so much an environmental issue as money. Also totally gross in this time of Covid where everyone is going disposable. Owners might have gotten into more than they bargained for. We obviously won't be returning! read more

My husband and I recently stayed at Mt. Liberty in cabin 5. It was an excellent place to stay location wise and comfort wise. It's very quite and beautiful. The Pemigewasset river runs right in the back of the cabins. There are a few fire pits that anyone can use through out the premises, which was nice at night. The owner, Paul was very helpful and knowledgeable about the hiking trails and even provides us with maps. We will definitely be staying here again! read more
