My fiancé and I had an amazing getaway here! The owner Nick and his staff were nothing short of fun, thoughtful, and courteous people! Very close to a couple great restaurants and beautiful walking trails. The roofs are GORGEOUS! (stay in a jacuzzi room, it well worth it!) End the night with a cornhole game, a drink around the firepit, and (for us and the other guests at the time) s'mores provided by the always friendly Nick. Will stay again, 10/10!

This Inn is absolutely beautiful, historical and some of the furniture dates back to the age of the Inn. Every room is so unique and beautiful that I can't decide which one is my favorite. The owner Nick and his mom are so sweet that we try to visit often and we feel like it is our home away from home!!! Breakfast is amazing and at night you can have a cocktail or glass of wine while sitting by the fire. Their two dogs Memphis and Deacon are so welcoming and everyone falls in love with them. If you are looking for a getaway up in NH this is the place to visit. It is nestled between Mt Washington and North Conway where there are a bunch of cozy little stores and restaurants. If you love shopping there are outlets also in North Conway.

Me & my boyfriend stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. The room is clean, food is delicious. The owner, Nick and staff is friendly.

Lisseth made this granola! So good! Cider is very nice. Love the mug!

Beautiful, charming B&B. Paco the golden retriever can serve as guide for a snow trail walk next to the Inn (they can let you borrow snowshoes). Jeremiah and Lisseth were wonderful innkeepers. Breakfast was lovely and their cider was awesome. I love their handmade mugs that I bought one! Will definitely consider returning here next year.

    Bernerhof Inn, Freedom Village room

Wonderful place, unfortunately we were there for only one night. The place was quant and lovely, and the breakfast was great. Our small "Freedom Village" room was the usual quirkiness that you expect from B&B's (very tight quarters, can't stand up next to the bed, no room for suitcases, small queen bed, etc.); but you have to overlook those things when you stay in B&B's. And as a B&B, this was one of the best.

Lounging in our luxurious room after soaking in the Jacuzzi. Great start to my birthday staycation. Friendly innkeeper Nick welcomed us with a tour of this historic inn. Heading out to Bartlett nightlife after dinner

Trying to cancel my reservation but neither the phone number or email address works. Does anyone know how to get in contact with this inn?

This place has real potential but it seriously needs TLC. Even though there is Wi-Fi, it does not reach the upstairs rooms, which is obviously inconvenient for people who want to work or relax alone. There are no televisions in the rooms either, so it forces people to go downstairs into the living room space instead of staying in their room for some privacy after a long day. There were a few issues with my room (#8). The door knob was broken, but the padlock worked. I had to manually flush the toilet (reach into the top to pick up the thing to flush) because it wasn't working. When I brushed my teeth and washed my hands the tub would start to fill, so there's clearly a clogged pipe somewhere. I could hear the people next door even when they were whispering. I'm glad I brought headphones. If you're just looking for a bed to sleep in, it was very comfortable. The ambiance in the bedroom was very cute, quaint, and clean. I loved the electric stove. I'd up the star rates if more care was shown towards the overall physical aspects of the property.

Three years ago, we came across the b&b as we went next door to the Covered Bridge Shop and purchased a few things. In 18 days, we saw so much of what New England had to offer but my family and I all agree that the Covered Bridge House was one of our highlights on the trip. Hands down. It's located right in front of the Saco river, which made our stay 10x better. The location is not next to the hustle and bustle of North Conway, but close enough to drive if your looking for attractions and more dinning options nearby. Also, conveniently located to Crawford's Notch. We loved the location because it was quiet and peaceful. From the decor to the comfort of the bedrooms, everything was perfect. The rooms are warm & inviting, with antiques but not outdated. The beds were very comfortable. My husband couldn't stop raving about the breakfast and how everything was so well put together. Everything was delicious and not your typical same ol' boring continental breakfast everyday. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. We miss starting our day here before a long day of hiking and exploring the White Mountains, we felt spoiled! The owners Nancy & Dan were exceptional. Their service and hospitality is some of the best we've ever experienced. We couldn't have been more grateful for everything. A lot of B&B's do not welcome children, so naturally this place stood out from all the rest as we had our two kids with us. Thank you so much, Nancy and Dan. You two are one of kind. We hope to visit again in the future!!!

This is one of our favorite spots, as it is such a relaxing and welcoming place. Our technicians were Meaghan and Heather, who both did a wonderful job. They made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our services. We appreciated being able to use the steam room and shower following the services, with their lovely shampure products. We felt so rejuvenated upon leaving here. In past visits, we were able to get more services and at longer durations. Unfortunately, that has changed. This wasn't communicated and there was an issue with scheduling our services. When we received the initial confirmation, everything looked fine (services and durations) aside from it stating "body polish" instead of "body scrub". I was assured that it would be a scrub, regardless of what the confirmation said. Unfortunately, the day before our services the confirmation email had different durations of services. When I called to inquire, I hadn't received a call back, however it was addressed immediately upon our arrival. They noted that our call was received and said they figured they would wait until they saw us. I wish it had been addressed ahead of time, as we had to make a quick decision on the spot regarding our services. I would have preferred time to think it over. Also, the polish was in fact a polish and not a scrub, which was not what was wanted nor expected. Overall, we had a great time and would go back! This has become a staple for our white mountain trips. The services are always great, the staff is always friendly, and we always leave feeling refreshed! The only downside was the lack of communication/scheduling error, which has never been a problem in our countless other visits here.

Unfortunately, our actual stay was very disappointing due to the management. We booked one of the barn rooms, and I would strongly advise against ever booking in that section. While most of the staff were friendly and helpful, the General Manager, Abe, was rude and unprofessional. On our first night, we received a noise complaint. We were up late due to jet lag, but were not being excessively loud. After a neighbor banged on the wall, I quickly received a text from Abe asking us to keep the volume down. Thinking it was an automated system, we immediately complied and kept everything quiet for the rest of the night. The next morning, around 8am, Abe came banging on our door as aggressively as possible. His exact first words were, "I'm asking you to check out today." He said we had been making noise "all night" and "banging on walls." Neither of those things were true. Once he finally introduced himself as the GM, I calmly explained that we lowered our volume as soon as we received the text and that we never banged on any walls. Instead of listening, he dismissed our explanation and began lecturing me in a disrespectful and hostile manner. To try to evict paying guests early in the morning, on the day of a wedding, without hearing both sides of the situation, is completely unacceptable. This experience left a very sour impression of the property. The surroundings are beautiful, and the other staff members were pleasant, but the GM's behavior ruined what should have been a positive stay. I cannot recommend staying here, especially when there are likely other inns in the area with far better management and respect for their guests.
