Where to start. This place was incredible. We went here for our baby moon this past weekend. You are greeted by the welcoming scent of mulled cider (which they burn a candle of year round!!), and are also welcomed with fresh coffees, teas, hot chocolates, etc. A huge fireplace burns wood from 9am until 9pm. Our room was stunning. My fiancé pre planned and had rose petals, candles, and champagne all set up by the staff for us. (Additional charge). There was a hot tub for two, a shower for two, and a nice additional seating area. In the morning there was fresh orange juice, coffee, and homemade options such as muffins and pastries. There were also some yogurt, fruit, and granola. Saturday night there was a complimentary cheese and wine night! They offered a mixed variety of cheeses, meats, and crackers. They also had two wine options, and a non alcoholic bubbly option. There was a huge almost pool sized hot tub, which could easily fit 16-20 people. They keep the water at a mild temperature, so that all can enjoy. On site, there was also an enormous work out room and an infrared sauna. There were quite a few amenities in the work out room - including a putting mat, a golf swing machine, a full body massage chair, a foot massager, and countless other options. We would recommended this place to any and everyone. The famous mulled cider candles are available for 21$ to purchase, we got a few. Having gone to the North Conway area for 10+ years - I can comfortably say that this place is a hidden gem. We will definitely be back. read more

What a truly delightful midweek getaway. It was an extremely relaxing couple of days spent in the White Mountains, our happy place. Everything was all that could be expected. The Snowflake was clean, comfortable and incredibly restorative. Bonus points for the delicious baked treats. I have been coming up to the mountains for 15 years, first time at this great inn. First time and thoroughly enjoyed. Walking in the lobby smelled of autumn. Fire in fireplace, Autumn decor, all so inviting. Cost a bit high but includes jacuzzi tub in the room, Spa jacuzzi pool near lobby which was amazing, lobby coffee, treats in afternoon and simple yummy continental bf. Lobby smells of fresh baked goods early in the morning, fruit, yogurt and homemade granola with lovely display add to the feel. It's a bit far from us in RI, but we enjoyed exploring the area and relaxing. This is our third visit to Snowflake Inn and the perfect spot for us to connect and enjoy each other's company. Since it's an adult only inn, my husband and I enjoy the escape from the "real world." Marybeth and the team at the Inn are friendly and helpful. When we told her we were celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary, she put us in her favorite room. We can see why it's her favorite and we'll definitely request it from now on. There's plenty to do in the area; whether you want to stay in the room and relax in your two-person jacuzzi tub, go hiking, or shopping, the options are endless and all within a short distance. read more

More like a hostel than a romantic getaway. Do not trust with your elopement! My wife and I booked the Snowflake Inn for an elopement and weekend stay. Their promise to provide these services fell flat. Elopements are private intimate ceremonies, which the Inn did not provide and could not provide, yet there was no transparency and we were misled into thinking otherwise. We have tried to process our discontent with how our wedding day went but are left feeling taken advantage of. Things that were inexcusable about the elopement venue: 1.) The ceremony was performed in a common area amongst guests, coffee station, pool area, and check-in counter -- No privacy!! a. My wife had to walk through the main hallway past rooms where guests are staying to get to her ceremony b. The space was cluttered with photos, furniture and decor not suitable for a ceremony. Our photos were compromised and had to be manipulated to take out the clutter. 2.) No amenities for getting ready for the ceremony a. No full mirror, no steamer, no iron, no place to hang dress, minimal clothes hangers, etc. A bride needs a large mirror and a sit down vanity or equivalent station e.g. desk, to get ready 3.) Busy decorations that did not match our colors a. We informed them of our colors multiple times at their request and yet there were clashing colors, knick-knacks and trinkets all over the place and in front of the main ceremony area. We were forced to partake in an atmosphere that we had no control over. 4. No places for photos - entire grounds were covered with snow a. We were told there were going to be adequate areas for photo taking on premises. Walkways were not shoveled - no effort was made 5. They offer a "candles & petals" addition for $175 that was a complete waste and overcharge. Little tea-lights and minimal flowers haphazardly scattered throughout the room. I was made to believe this was some extravagant addition. 6. The innkeeper and others were present during the ceremony and taking pictures without consent. That is nothing short of an invasion of privacy and completely out of line. Shortcomings of the inn as a place for a "romantic getaway": 1.) Noisy Gym - Woken up every morning to the sound of people exercising 2.) Innkeeper walking around barefoot in the common area. This is unprofessional and quite frankly unsanitary; it would raise the eyebrows of some health inspectors. 3.) No refrigerator in suite - said to not be in the rooms because of noise??? 4.) Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable - not acceptable for $425/night. 5.) Jacuzzi/tub unallowed to use bubble-bath 6.) "Smart" TV unable to log into Netflix/HBO/etc. Constricted to Direct TV channels... an outdated amenity 7.) Fireplace went out for an entire night and the innkeeper waited until we mentioned it to re-light the pilot despite knowing of the propane issue 8.) No access to drinking water except for one common-use vase unable to fill water bottles from. There's even a sign dissuading people from filling up It is apparent that the Snowflake Inn is not suited to host elopements. The advertisement is evasive, deceiving, and borderline conniving. Moreover, if the reason for staying here is a "romantic getaway" good luck finding privacy amongst the gym-goers, the intrusive and meddling innkeeper, and the shared areas for food and lounging. The shortcomings of the Inn were brought up at checkout and we were met with dismissal and defensiveness from the innkeeper. He countered every one of our concerns with an answer as if they were irrelevant and trivial. I am still questioning what exactly drove the rate of the room - we could have stayed at a much higher rated hotel with basic amenities for half the price. This was a complete waste of our money and time, but most of all it is a stain on what should have been a special experience and memory for both of us. read more

I had the pleasure of staying at the Snowflake Inn for a winter weekend getaway, and my experience was positively dreamy. I highly recommend visiting this delightful inn located in Jackson, New Hampshire. Sue Method, the owner, and Carrie and Eric, the inn's caretakers, are kind, hospitable, and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Carrie assisted us with restaurant and activity recommendations, and even supplied us with crampons for some winter hiking. Our suite was cozy, clean, and warm. The radiant heating and fireplace made it snug, plus the in-room jacuzzi was wonderful to soak in at night. The bed was comfortable and we woke up rested and ready for a day of exploring. The inn provided a delightful continental breakfast including homemade granola, yogurt, fresh fruit, assorted cheeses, pastries, oatmeal, and a selection of coffee and teas. After breakfast, we toured around Jackon and visited the village of North Conway, where you can find adorable shops and cafes. We did some winter hiking at Diana's Baths and saw spectacular views of the snow-capped White Mountains. Fortunately for us, it had snowed the night before so the trails were untouched. The sunshine and bluebird sky complemented the natural beauty. A drive up north will offer even more stunning mountain views. At dusk, we tucked into the White Mountains Cider Company in Bartlett, NH for specialty apple cider drinks. After our tasty cocktails, we enjoyed a flavorful, hearty meal at the Red Fox Bar & Grille. The grilled haddock and mashed carrots and turnips were delicious. Following our meal, we checked out the nearby Nestlenook Farm. In the wintertime, the farm offers private and group winter sleigh rides, ice skating, toasting marshmallows at the fire pits, and snowshoeing. My companion and I took a ride on a private sleigh ride through the enchanting forest. The sparkling tree lights and peaceful music made us feel like we were in a real-life winter wonderland. Cuddling under a blanket and sipping on champagne was an experience neither of us will soon forget. Other amenities the inn provides is the Wellness Zone fitness center and a heated whirlpool spa. While we were sad to leave this winter oasis, we felt rejuvenated and prepared to get back to reality. Our weekend was one-of-a-kind, and it's no wonder the Snowflake Inn was voted 2023's best boutique inn and romantic getaway. read more

New Hampshire is a beautiful place especially if you are lucky enough to see it right after a snow fall. The place is awesome very well kept. Eric & Carrie were great. The light breakfast was awesome & the homemade granola was out of this world. They also had coffee all day, a honor bar with soda, chips candy, iwas a cute touch. They offered wine & cheese hour. We stayed here this past weekend for our 10th anniversary celebration. What a phenomenal time! We loved our suite with the two person Jacuzzi hot tub in the room. The extra Candles and petals surrounding the room was so romantic! Breakfast in the morning consisted of fresh delicious homemade granola with yogurt and fresh fruits with absolutely phenomenal fresh made scones and pastries. Coffee was delicious. I love that they have a refrigerator for you to bring some of your own beverages and snacks in and keep chilled. We had no problem storing our own beer and cheese dip. We love the area and the short walk to the falls. Very cozy and quaint little town village. MaryGrace and Daria were super friendly and helpful, especially in the clothing boutique where I got a lovely discounted shirt for being a guest. Horrible interaction with the owner, Sue. She is so rude I can't imagine why she is still in business. My friend has a service dog, yes a "true service dog" not any pet or comfort animal. It is a service dog for Veterans and First Responders. She arrived ahead of me and went into the lobby to sit quietly and wait for me. Her lab was beside her, lying down quietly as a real service dog is trained to do, with his vest clearly visible. This woman approached and told her no dogs in the lobby, and she had to leave. She attempted to explain this was a service dog which is allowed by law (ADA - American Disability Act). The woman started ranting and raving that this is private property and her own dogs are not allowed except behind the desk and she is the owner and literally chased her out of the lobby. My friend was embarrassed, hurt, humiliated, and angry. This was witnessed by another couple sitting nearby who clearly were horrified. Needless to say, when I arrived and found my friend sitting in a nearby field we decided to find another place to stay. The next day as we were out walking (with the dog) a woman stopped to chat with us and told us she heard through the grapevine about the lobby interaction and that she will never stay there again. Word had spread already about how Sue had treated my friend. Find better accommodations if you are thinking of staying at Snowflake Inn - there are much kinder people in that area. read more

Great place to stay for a romantic getaway. We got a great deal that included champagne and chocolates. The jacuzzi tub was awesome and very clean. It came with a rose and bath salts. The floors are also heated, there's a fireplace in the room and a two-person shower. I mean, what else do you need? We found everything to be very comfortable, we loved the tub, even brought some LUSH bath bombs and watched movies from their huge (and free) DVD library. Location is GREAT too! Oh and the constant supply of cookies, coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby ain't too shabby either! You can treat the place like home, grabbing a glass of water, corkscrews, mugs, glasses etc as you need them which I thought was really nice. read more

My boyfriend and did a one night stay here for a nice day trip. We were absolutely blown away by everything in the Snowflake Inn. Walking in, felt like a Home away from home, with beautiful decor and the smell of cider inviting us in. Talking with the owner at the front desk while Checking in was like talking to a friend, so friendly and conversational and told us everything we needed to know. Our room was absolutely amazing! Probably one of the best hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. With a huge king bed, there was a beautiful electric fire place and next to the bed was our own jacuzzi tub with little candles. There was even a note in our room with information about everything we needed to know hotel-wise and for things around. The best addition was the bathrobes! Great spot for a mini honeymoon. Staff was very attentive to making sure we enjoyed our stay. VERY clean and comfortable rooms. They have a cute patio set-up outside, and lots of entertainment options (board games/movies available). A few things holding us back from the 5 stars: 1. The "continental breakfast" consists of yogurt and pastries, no real hearty breakfast options. (However, they do have pastries and coffee available in the evenings which was a nice touch). 2. The rooms are not equipped with a fridge or microwave, making it difficult if you had planned to keep anything cool during your stay (leftovers/drinks, etc.). They do have a "communal fridge" in the guest kitchen, but that wasn't really appealing to us.. Otherwise, a very great stay, we will likely be back for another weekend getaway! read more

My husband and I finished our fourth trip to Snowflake Inn in Jackson , New Hampshire (three canceled due to Covid),and I cannot say enough great things about this lodging venue. The rooms are all suites, (a living room and a big bedroom and a fabulous hot tub right in the bedroom. It's an extremely comfortable place to hang out whether just crashing or doing lots of outdoor activities! The decor and warmth of the whole lobby area makes it very comfortable to be anywhere in the inn. Sue and her husband Gary have done an amazing job running this place and have a terrific staff!! Fresh baked pastry and fruit is served every day as a light breakfast. They also have a little heated pool, that is quite therapeutic and also a very well equipped gym/health club. I am sure we will return again and again. Snowflake is a wonderful destination in Jackson, New Hampshire and I am sure we will return again and again. PS It's adult only lodging therefore it's wonderful for young couples who are honeymooning and older couples who have done all their child rearing PS. We have traveled there with several couples and it is a very comfortable place to hang out, especially the big open lobby with lots of comfy chairs and little nooks! read more

I've read numerous reviews stating how romantic it is, so I won't keep repeating that fact. The Inn's owners have taken a great deal of time and expense in furnishing the entire location. My wife and I just spent three evenings, and it was very enjoyable. The soft music played ever so lightly near all entrances and sitting areas is a very nice touch. To be fair, I want to point out some things that travelers should know. If you have difficulty walking, you'll want to ask for a first floor room; you may not be able to use the steps from the parking lot because they are high, so parking out front may work best for you. There are no safes or fridges in rooms but mgmt may accommodate you; I just kept re-icing our cooler and it worked well. There are separate thermostats for heat and cool so ensure you're adjusting the correct one for comfort. If you're tall, be careful with the top support bar of the shower stall; you can easily crack your head on it. Also, there are no security rails next to the commode and the toilet paper holder is free-standing, so be careful when getting up. Please don't think that this review is just about complaints or being nit-picky. I just state what we experienced. As I said, we enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again should we find ourselves in the Jackson area again. There were numerous homey touches that place this Inn above and beyond all of the other cookie cutter chains out there. read more

An amazing night. The inn was spotlessly clean. They had fresh coffee and tea out and a fire in the fireplace.( A nice touch on a cold night). The woman at the desk was very friendly and welcoming. We forgot to bring a cork screw and one of the staff showed us a draw with a bunch for people to use... A great idea!!! Our room was on the second floor near the pool table. ( Which we never once heard, even though we saw a couple of people playing it as we entered the room)! The room was clean. The fireplace was nice. 2 person tub with a fresh rose, heart swan towels and candles near it, was a romantic touch. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. A very special Inn! My wife and u aren't really B&B fans, but this place is fantastic. It crosses the bridge nicely between a very nice hotel and a B&B. Sue, the owner was just terrific to us as we checked in, the rooms are bran new (2-2015), with flat screen tv, large jacuzzi tub, and built in gas fireplace along with a VERY COMFORTABLE king bed, nice linens, upscale toiletries, and a gigantic public hot tub off the lobby (indoors), that must seat 30 ppl and has super turbo jets on demand. Anyway, this place is terrific, and the staff are incredible! Breakfast is light, but the pastries and breads are fresh and delightful, the fruit is ripe and hand cut that morning, and the yogurt seemed home made, or was at least a local producer making small batch yogurt. This review is intended for anyone considering staying at the Snowflake Inn with a dog. I had stayed at the Inn about 7 years ago and had a lovely experience so decided to go back. They advertise as having a pet friendly room, so my boyfriend and I decided to take our dog. When we checked in, Mary Grace assisted us and was very welcoming and kind. Later that night though I had a strange interaction with the Inn owner Sue which only got worse as our stay continued. When I booked the stay, I had asked if there was a fridge in the room and was told that although there was not, I could use the communal fridge. As I was putting a lunch bag size tote in the fridge with two bottles of wine and some dog food (fresh, perishable food no bigger than a medium tupperware) the owner without greeting me first said "the fridge isn't meant to hold much, don't you have a cooler". I told her I would try to condense my items by taking them out of the bag and after staring at me as I tried to do this said "umm okay..." and walked away. It seemed a bit rude but I figured maybe she was tired after a long day. The following day we sat on the front porch with our dog. Now I will say our dog is a rescue who lost her previous owner. She is house trained and very sweet with people. She does from time to time bark at other dogs passing by which did happen on the porch. Although we were the only ones out there on the porch, after some time we brought her in. The next morning as I went to the lobby alone to get breakfast, my dog barked two times... ONE...TWO. The owner, Sue, said "that dog can't do that" ... they are a pet friendly inn but a dog cannot bark two times? I explained I was going right back to the room and she was newly rescued and didn't like being away from me (which is why my boyfriend stayed behind). Sue proceeded to tell me she would not have rented the room to us had she known she was newly rescued. That when we were on the porch, I should have seen ahead of time that other dogs were coming and should know how to control her (view was blocked by stacks of firewood that lines the porch and bushes so not easy to see who is approaching until they are in front of you). Now let me add that there were workers on ladders in front of our window facing the bed all day, so being outside with her seemed more logical. I am a reasonable person and understand that excessive barking in unacceptable in this setting, however, her approach was rude... her tone, her words, her lack of skills in communicating with a guest. Had she handled it with more tact it could have been a more productive conversation and I would have received it a lot better. Instead, I fought back tears as I offered to check out that day in return for a refund for that night. She would not do this, so we stayed and were completely stressed each time our dog even looked up at anything with fear she would bark. I read some other reviews that commented on Sue's lack of professionalism when addressing guests and wanted to share my experience. If you have a dog that may potentially bark, do not stay at this Inn. If you are pet free or have a dog that does not react vocally, it is a nice setting in beautiful location. read more

I loved this place! I was just sorry I only got to spend two nights here. The staff was very nice and helpful and the woman who checked us in even gave us a tour of the whole place. It smells amazing downstairs, like Christmas, and was warm and cozy. The common area had a fireplace, seating, puzzles, games, and a buffet where they set up breakfast in the mornings and fresh baked goods in the afternoons. There is always coffee, tea, and water available. At night, they start a fire in the fire pit on the porch and set out a bag of marshmallows to toast. We didn't partake in this, but it looked fun anyway. They also have a decent selection of DVDs you can take up to your room. The rooms were great. We were in a king suite and it was huge and very clean. The in-room jacuzzi was awesome, the bed was comfortable, and the room also had a fireplace and a separate sitting area. I really cannot say enough good things about this place and I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area. read more

An amazing relaxing romantic retreat for couples! This place truly knows how to treat you! We stayed in the Riverwalk Suite after purchasing a living social deal because otherwise the rates are pricey... It was the best hotel experience I've ever had. The room was HUGE, the bed was very comfortable, the bedding was also soft and nice, the couples massages in the room were to rave about and the spa tub in the bathroom with the see through fireplace to the bedroom was a decent size for 2 and VERY relaxing. The hotel is owned by a couple who greet you at arrival and are very accomodating. There is a personalized note in your room with a single rose and lindt chocolates. The TV was playing nice classic music when we entered also. In the lobby area, they have a book of menus for area restaurants along with an assortment of DVDs to bring back to the room to watch (for free). They also have a print out of the weather for the week. There is a very large, lovely wood burning fireplace which they light in the evening (we went during the fall season) and they bake cookies and have hot chocolate to make so you can sit by the fire and enjoy a snack. Coffee and tea is also out during the day. The have a small breakfast with scones and fruit in the morning as well. The spa is amazing! It was a HUGE jacuzzi with jets all around and a nice little waterfall. It was very peaceful and relaxing. It is surrounded by windows and sliding doors to the outside but the temp in the spa is so warm they are often fogged up. The only drawback is the spa is in the lobby so people walking in the front door can look into the spa and see you swimming. It's not a major negative, but some people awkwardkly stare which I didn't like. I will definitely be back! This place is amazing! read more

Have been to the snowflake inn twice now and both occasions were perfection. The rooms are huge, comfortable, clean, and relaxing. The common areas have games, puzzles, and books for anyone to use. The complimentary coffee, tea, snacks, and freshly baked cookies are such a nice treat whenever you need a pick me up throughout the day. We just completed a three night stay at the Snowflake Inn and we must say, the place is awesome! Our room was spacious ( a suite really, with a separate sitting area), the entire place was immaculately clean, and the staff genuinely made us feel more like an extension of their family during the stay. The continental breakfast featured their own home made granola and freshly baked pastries each morning, and the inn featured a terrific indoor spa--a small swimming pool, really, with 90 degree water and powerful jets--so relaxing. We also took advantage of the optional couples massage which was a real treat. We dined at several really good restaurants including the Wildcat Tavern which is directly across the street and there Christmas Farm Inn, less than a 5 minute drive away, and sleigh rides are available around the corner at Nestlenook, which we had done and totally enjoyed on an earlier visit to this area. This is great spot, and, IMO, very reasonably priced for what it has to offer. We will definitely be back, and next time we'll be bring friends along as well! read more

Fantastic! It is an adults - only inn, fyi, making it a perfect getaway from our kids in our case. The inn is located in a beautiful spot, with some walkable amenities which is a plus. Inside, the inn is spotless and modern, but with a homey feel. There is a tropical pool which is like a very large Jacuzzi, a large sitting room with a fireplace, and a spread of teas, coffee, and fresh-baked goodies. The staff, Roberta and Leslie are very friendly and have wonderful recommendations for things to do around Jackson. We were shown the gym (which is far, far nicer than any hotel gym I've ever seen), the infrared sauna, and pool table. Our suite was the Riverwalk which is large and clean. It has a sitting area with sifs and tv, a bathroom with jacuzzi tub, two person stand -up shower, and fireplace, and a large "bedroom" with another large television, king sized bed, and gas fireplace. We are from Boston, and used to things being pretty pricey, but found the Snowflake to be much better than we expected based on price alone. Also, the continental breakfast includes the most delicious homemade granola. If you decide to venture out for breakfast, Yesterday's Cafe right across the street was unbelievable. Also be sure to check out the live music at the Wildcat Tavern. All "inn" all, I can't say enough about the Snowflake Inn. On amenities, location, value, cleanliness, and friendliness, it was just about perfect. It's also a family - owned business, so if you're conscientious about that sort of thing, it hits that point as well. You won't be disappointed! read more

This place was a great weekend away!! Upon arrival, you are greeted by the front desk associate and a friendly dog behind her! After checking in we were treated with some complimentary wine and cheese. The room's here are amazing. Huge comfy beds, fireplace in room, two person jaccuzi in room, dual headed showers. It was nice and cozy, very quiet which is what we were looking for. They also have a HUGE hot tub that is surrounded by candles and ambient lighting. This place is very romantic. The only star that was lost was for the sole reason of the fireplace not being on and inability to book online. I guess they shut the fireplaces off in room between may and september. Would have enhanced the mood a lot if there were a nice fire going in the room. I will definitely return, had an awesome weekend! read more

attended a wedding here. would have been alright if they would have been willing to turn on the a/c. also, there were these attractive maroon cloth treatments on the chairs, unfortunately, i think the material smelled very strongly of toxic stuff. you know how sometimes you buy new clothes & they smell very strange? sometimes you can't even get the smell out & it makes you wheeze. it was stuffy & difficult to breathe. no excuse for a/c not being better as it was very humid & the toxic smell was sickening. read more

Pretty legitimate inn. Has a homey feel to it but it is very clean and inviting. A woman that worked there was very dismissive of my girlfriend, she obviously hasn't seen the movie Flatliners yet so I'll cut her some slack. Overall very cool spot in a great location. read more

I've been a lot of places, stayed in a lot of rooms, hotels, motels, you name it! There are a few that I can't get out of my head. One being a resort in Mexico and the....Snowflake Inn! Wonderful people, wonderful rooms, wonderful location. Sue waited for us to get there as it was past 12:30 am and was so nice when we arrived. Boston traffic is a pain but they were patient. The room was SPOTLESS, when I say spotless, I mean the chrome on the shower door trim was SPOTLESS. No water marks, no streaks, nothing. (You notice things when the toilet is directly in front of the shower.) The floors were clean, the bed was immaculate and had one of those huge, soft, white, beautiful comforters that are outrageously expensive and fluffy that you wanna steal and take home with you! The room had a fireplace and a Jacuzzi. The breakfast was so fresh and good. The coffee, the COFFEE they serve, HOW DO I GET SOME!!! Fabulous! Went back a number of times just for the coffee! They had wine and cheese set out free to enjoy, fire pit, marshmallows for anyone! Inside pool, towels to take to the waterfalls which by the way is only about a mile or so up from the Inn. UGH!! I gotta stop or the husband will going back THIS weekend! In fact, we are going back in 2 weeks. You will LOVE IT! Trust me! read more

My favorite inn in the entire world! I love the location too... awesome cross country skiing and a fun bar across the street. I look forward to winter so my boyfriend and I can enjoy the snow at the snowflake inn. Friendly staff, they have puzzles and a nice gym. Awesome fire place and spa area too. read more

My boyfriend and I came to the Snowflake Inn after we bought a special deal on Groupon. After reading the bad reviews I was a bit nervous to stay there. Upon arrival we were greeted by Sue the owner. She was very friendly! Sue and her family live at the inn and everyone was always attentive and there if we needed anything. When we got up to our room the first thing we walked into was a sitting area with a love seat and a chair. This room seemed pretty useless because there were no windows and no tv. The bedroom was spacious with a king sized bed, jacuzzi tub in the room, large window with a bench below, and a fireplace. The tv was a bit dated but it still worked. The bathroom was really nice with a two-headed shower for two. Spacious counter space and one skink. The entire room was clean and neat which is what really mattered to us. Our groupon deal came with a free bottle of champagne and a $40 resort credit, neither of which were mentioned when we checked in. When we got into our room we didn't find our champagne or $40 gift card of some sort either. When my boyfriend went down to the front desk to ask where it was they said they'd be brining the champagne up to us. They explained we could use the resort credit towards couples massages choc. covered strawberries etc. On our second day at snowflake my boyfriend went down to tell them we would like some chocolate covered strawberries brought to our room after we came back from dinner. The woman behind the desk said she didn't know if there were any left and she'd see what she could do. Never the less the strawberries were ready when we returned from dinner. The continental breakfast is really not continental at all so beware. Coffee, tea, instant oatmeal packets, fresh fruit, bowl of regular yogurt, and granola. No bagels toast or anything else. Regular stays here are very pricey! I hope to return at some point but could probably only afford another special deal. My advice: don't let the bad reviews scare you this place was awesome! An interesting place to stay in the warmer months: the inn is still covered in wintry decoration (eg, snowmen). I guess that's to be expected given the name? Breakfast was ok, but not really comparable to a hot breakfast cooked ot order at a B&B. The rooms were large and had interesting amenities like a jacuzzi, fireplace, and a shower made for two, however ours could have used a renovation/update. The bed was a real plus, however. The large hottub was nice. Nice spots to sit outside on a rocking chair and read. Marshmallow roasting at night. The staff was extremely helpful in pointing us in the right direction for a hike. They were unable to help get us an email confirmation of the stay after booking, which was odd. read more

Great romantic getaway- we now stay two times a year at the inn- the rooms are clean/ roomy and we like the gas fireplace. Beds are king size and very comfortable- shower for two very roomy- jacuzzi tub is large enough for two- but for a good soak after being out in the cool mountain air it's better for 1- the breakfast is homemade granola- yogurt- fresh fruit and small pastries- coffee is good- tea all day! Don't forget to enjoy the heated pool/ hot tub- always clean and cozy! Owners are on site and very friendly and knowledgeable of local activities. read more
