    Mango bingsu
    Eva E.

Was the Mango bingsu the best I've ever had, no ... but it was pretty damn good. I ordered the cup size and it was the perfect size for me .. and I love me some mango bingsu. The ordering process was quick and after I placed my order, I was given a buzzer. My buzzer went off within 5 mins and I was ready to eat!! The reason why I gave Snowday 4 stars was due to the lack of mango flavor in the middle of the bingsu. I ended up mixing everything together so the mangos and the ice cream could be incorporated with the shaved ice. Wishing SnowDay BingSu Cafe continued success!!

    Tiramisu Bingsu (size small)

My boyfriend and I were strolling around the neighborhood on a hot Saturday afternoon. We were looking for a place to cool down and eat something cold, then we noticed this cafe. The posters with delicious desserts drew us in. We peeked inside and there were lots of people smiling and enjoying their food. So we decided to grab something to eat as well. When I was young, one of my favourite desserts was bingsu- I have lots of fond memories of eating it with my family. Being here brought my childhood memories back! My boyfriend has never heard of bingsu before, so we decided to eat one together. We were greeted by a young friendly cashier at the front. We ordered a small size of Tiramisu Bingsu. Then we were given a small buzzer where it would ring once our order is ready. We got a seat in the middle area and talked about food. Finally, our food was ready! The Tiramisu Bingsu was delicious! The shaved ice was very finely shaved, so it felt like eating very soft and pillowy snow. The slice of tiramisu cake and tiramisu filling on the top added a light sweet touch to the shaved ice. Every spoonful was delicious! My boyfriend said he enjoyed the balance of cold and sweetness of this dessert. This cafe also has other items to eat and drink. A great place to go and relax together!

    Tiramisu Cake Bingsoo

We found this place on Instagram and decided to visit to try their Tiramisu Cake Bingsoo. It was about $22, which is little expensive compare to the other bingsoo I've tried before, but one bite quickly justified the cost. The bingsoo was a delightful fusion of Tiramisu cake and traditional Korean shaved ice, featuring layers of sponge cake at the base and decadent mascarpone cream interspersed throughout. The texture was incredibly soft and fluffy, almost disappearing on the tongue with each spoonful--truly a sensation! Despite the price, the generous portion and exquisite taste made it a worthwhile treat. If you're a fan of Tiramisu or simply looking to satisfy your sweet tooth with a unique twist, this bingsoo is a must-try.

I enjoyed these sweet treats with friends, so was able to try out two flavors. My favorite was the injeolmo bingsoo as it had lovely mochi pieces which contrasted with the bingsoo nicely. I liked the more subtle flavors of the injeolmo and the slivered almonds on top was a nice touch. The green grape bingsoo definitely has it's fans, but it was a bit too sweet for my liking. The icecream on top was good, but I didn't like the green syrup that tasted like a melted honeydew Melona. As the ice melted, it got sweeter and sweeter which I found overwhelming. Not for me, but definitely for anyone with a sweet tooth. Also, great portions for a regular sized portion. One is enough for two to share, which is why they helpfully provide little paper bowls as they fully expect you to share!

    Black Sesame Basque Cheesecake

Okay, so I know that this place is famous for BingSu, but hear me out: they've got a black sesame Basque cheesecake that you NEED to try! I'm not even a big cheesecake fan, but this one has a perfect texture, and-- this is how you know it's good for Asians, so say it with me now: It's not too sweet!

Cute cafe. 2 hours seating limit. 10% off paid in cash. Paid $13 for cup size matcha bingsu which had injjeolmi rice cake, red bean, nicely shaved iced mixed with condensed milk, matcha ice cream, sliced almonds & matcha powder. Excellent quality of red bean! Was very filling afrer.

So happy there is a dessert place just for bingsu! Just wish it was open later :) The ice is shaved perfectly where it melts and mixes well with the rest of the toppings. There are a variety of options to choose from, but my favourite is the green tea. The regular size is definitely more worth its value compared to the cup, but I like that if I just want my own personal size there is the option vs. getting a size too large for me to finish.

Walked in here yesterday and walked out happy! Their first location is in Thornhill and this is their second location, a welcome addition to the Koreatown by Christie and Bloor. Food: The shaved ice in the bingsu is on the snowy side! It does not taste like eating ice or like a freezie to me. It's light, fluffy, and delivers coolness to your mouth with the flavours from the toppings, flavoured syrup and sweet condensed milk. The staff shared the popular flavours are injeolmi, green tea, and mango. I got to try the mango and red bean bingsu. Both were delicious and had their own taste profiles, the mango was on the sweet side but not overly sweet. This one had a scoop of mango sorbet, chopped ripe mangoes, and small blocks of powdered cheese or something (will update if I find out more) that added more texture. The red bean bingsu had cubes of mochi, roasted soybean powder, red bean paste, and thin slices of almonds - it is a sweet dessert, but I consider it on the savoury side compared to the mango bingsu. I noticed the green tea bingsu had a green tea ice cream scoop and red bean paste, so will try that one next time. Atmosphere/service: There is plenty of seating. There are tables for 2 and 4 people. Single tables can be combined for larger groups. All the staff are friendly. There is a washroom down a set of stairs, a self-serve water dispenser, and WiFi available!

Came here and got the injeolmo bingsoo and it was good! My friend got the tiramisu and she enjoyed it too!

To be honest, the store and decor are so much better than the original store. Maybe because there's usually more traffic in the PATH, so it takes more time for them to keep up? Anyways, the store was cozy and clean and I felt extra welcomed as soon as I stepped in. I got my usual flat white and of course it came with latte art :) They sell more beans and merchandise than the original store, so definitely check it out if you have a chance!

Checking out this location it's all vibe and super adorable inside. They even have a little back outdoor patio space for you to enjoy your drinks. The only reason that this isn't a 5 star is that their drinks are definitely on the sweet side and this is throughout their locations - think they can scale back on the sugar for sure! Opted for their new seasonal mango sticky rice matcha latte which was really good and loved the bits of sticky rice in my drink. But it was on the sweeter side of things. Would've been perfect if they scaled back on the sugar content. Overall, delicious drinks with a rotating seasonal menu. Worth checking out, especially their new space is great for enjoying your cup of caffeine.

I would order it again, but I'd perhaps see if they could heat it, or I'd take it home and heat it. The staff was friendly. I really hope they'll be able to bring more of that soon. Their coffee is great. You have a costumer y of kills and non- worry options to choose from, as well as syrups of your want to flavour your coffee or tea. They always have great new suggestions as well.
