Another of my favorite is the tres leches. so I took a bite and I spit it right out it was disgusting. When I lifted up it was goopy and the three milks should not be goopy and it tasted like rotten milk it was disgusting. The third thing I got was a custard filled doughnut. At least that was soso. 6:13 53 Juquilita…read moreBakery I don't recommend, such terrible service and the food tasted bad! I used to like to stop there on my way to Pigeon Forge. Tlive more than an hour from this Mexican Bakery. However, this last time I stopped, the experience was not the same. My favorite was the cheese and jalapeño relleno bread. They also carry some with just cheese. So, I asked the employees which were the ones with jalapeños in them. The employee said they all had jalapeño's and cheese. I purchased two of them. When I arrived at home, the bread instead had chorizo and potatoes inside. The taste was so bad and cold. I was disappointed. So, I called the bakery hoping to get replacements of jalapeño and cheese whenever I have the opportunity to stop by there, since it wasn't my fault. The employee told me no. I told her I could take a photo and keep the receipt. Nope, she didn't care. In addition, since I live more than an hour away, I asked the employee for a box to place the bread in, so the frosting on the small cakes wouldn't get messed up. Upon, looking at my receipt at home to call them, I noticed I was charged $2.25 for a thin little box that one gets free for purchasing donuts at a donut shop. If the employee had told me that there is a charge for the box, I would've had her place the bread in bags instead. This Mexican bakery is not a place I recommend to buy from. Take your business elsewhere.

Here's the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly on our experience:…read moreThe Good: Their coffee was delicious. I love the Spring menu which was very creative with many things we would love to try. The pistachio latte was so good. The Ube latte was good, but can't really taste the Ube flavor. Solid place for specialty coffee. We also had the strawberry banana smoothie, it was yum. The food and drinks came out pretty quickly and the servers were nice. The Bad: The place seems to be specialized in crepe, so we ordered the Mixed berries crepe, the strawberry with Nutella crepe, and the apple cinnamon crepe. While the cream inside was delicious, the crepe itself was cold which made it a little gummy and it was a bit too thick. The apple cinnamon crepe had a mixture of cooked and cut fresh apples but unfortunately the fresh chunks didn't mix well with the overall texture of the crepe so it was not great. If they had sliced the fresh apples or put them on the side, it would've been better. The Ugly: We had the Greek omelette which was not big and can't really taste the feta cheese. It came with a hash brown but it was probably heated up in a microwave instead of fried...it was dry and missing the crunch. The bread was cold that came with the omelette, it didn't came with butter either. Our experience was a letdown on food, but good place for coffee.

A friend and I stopped in the evening of Sept. 18th, after having dinner at the Japanese restaurant…read morenextdoor. She had been talking up the cookies to me, saying that they were something I just HAD to try. We walked into the shop at right around 6:00 p.m. and were the only people there at the time. We heard the doorbell ring when we walked in, so we are pretty sure that the employees did also. After standing there for 5 minutes, staring at blobs of cookie dough sitting and drying out on the prep counter, and after a couple more customers walked in behind us, also ringing the bell on the door, we started wondering if anybody was even there. The lady who walked in behind us actually called out to see if anybody was working! We all also took turns opening and closing the door to cause the doorbell to ring numerous times. Just when we ALL were getting ready to give up and walk out, a young worker came out from behind the short wall that separated the front customer area to presumably a back office nook area? I moved way over to see where the heck she came from and can only assume she had been sitting there the whole time, listening to the doorbell and listening to us yell for an employee, and also listening to us talk about walking out. She came up front to take our orders and never once cracked a smile on that smug little face of hers! She was incredibly rude to us.. incredibly! When asking us for the amount charged, she kept mumbling and we had to have her repeat everything she said, each time she opened her mouth. Either she was incredibly high, or she was doing that mumbling on purpose just to be rude. After taking my money, $10 for two cookies!, another employee came up from the back bringing our cookies to us. She was only marginally nicer, but then the first young girl did turn around and walk away instead of taking care of the customers behind me. I can't tell you how close my friend and I came to just walking out even after placing our order! I've honestly never been treated this rudely in all my days. Especially when laying out this ridiculously high price for what they considered Gourmet cookies, which turned out to be slightly undercooked regular old sugar cookies with a lot of very salty icing. I have no problem telling you I will never ever come back (to this location especially), and also will be telling everybody about my experience. In reading all the past comments on google, it seems to me there is a high number of dissatisfied customers who have complained about the rudeness of the employees at this location. In each instance their reviews were answered with the promise that they would 'do better' or 'look into it'. I would have to say neither of this has ever happened yet. My visit was on Friday, September 18th at 6:00 p.m. so this should be enough information for you to know who was scheduled to work that day, and who needed to be called out for their rudeness to their customers. Do better, crumbl.

A friend and I decided to give it a try today and I'm so happy we did. My husband wouldn't go with me, saying it wasn't his "cup of tea"- pun intended. I stop there to say that, while there weren't any men eating there today, the menu can certainly satisfy anyone's craving. My husband probably would feel fine eating there if another couple went with us. I know without a doubt he would enjoy the food. My friend and I were seated at a table for two in the 2nd room, which was slightly dimmed from a lighting standpoint which gave it a nice ambiance in the midst of an already quaint atmosphere. Our server came right away and we ordered the Timeless Tea, which she said had a slight fruity taste. You could get it sweet, unsweetened or hot. We both chose iced and unsweetened. It was very tasty. I ordered one of the Tearoom specialties- Chicken Divan, which came with a green salad and Frozen Cherry. You could get any 2 sides if you chose to change them. I was intrigued by the Frozen Cherry salad so I kept the meal as listed. The frozen Cherry was very good- like a cherry gelatin with cream cheese mixed in. It was very good and not too sweet but I ate it as a dessert. The entire meal was great. The chicken divan was very hot and really delicious. I thought it might be very rich but it wasn't. It was full of chicken and broccoli and I couldn't even finish it because the dish was larger than it appeared. Did I mention that it was delicious? My friend ordered the Thursday special- grilled cheese with chips and tomato basil soup. The grilled cheese was different in that it came with bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. She got it without the lettuce and tomato and said it was delicious. Our service and overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a girl lunch or even a couple lunch, if your husband doesn't mind eating in a tea room.
