This is a super cute French style coffee restaurant. They have a lot of auxiliary items to purchase as well. The staff were super kind. I got a mistletoe mocha with oat milk. While it was creamy and rich and chocolatey, it was lacking the mistletoe part (peppermint) and seemed a bit weak there. read more

When Honeybee Sevierville shut down unexpectedly, it was a sad day as competitors were nil. Shortly thereafter, Central Coffee emerged and to our delight, they kept all the former employees, who are amazing at what they do and oh so friendly. The indoor decor changed dramatically, to be more like a French cafe. They play music that coordinates with the decor, if you can picture that. Sadly, there's no WiFi, which I hope will change someday. They always remember our drinks and dare I say, they're even better than when it was honeybee coffee. read more

Come with me to Central Coffee and Crumb located in Sevierville, Tennessee. While visiting Sevierville, I wanted to try some local coffee shops, and Central Coffee was a quick drive from my hotel and had great reviews. This charming coffee spot with Parisian vibes is a must-visit if you are in the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville area. They also have a selection of coffee and seasonal flavors. On my first visit, I tried their Maple Sea Salt latte, with iced and regular milk. The latte was delicious. I stopped by again before hitting the road and had their Spiced Caramel Apple Butter Latte, which was heavenly. Next time I am in town I will definitely pass by. read more

Headed over for the grand opening to see the new place located inside the Central Hotel and next door to Seasons 101. I was greeted by Kevin an old friend and co owner with his lovely wife who together opened the quaint French themed coffee and pastry shop. It was good to catch up and the place was busy. I decided on a honey lavender latte with oat milk and a maple sea salt latte with macadamia milk. I was humbled to have Kevin buy my first coffee as they do not take cash or accept tap to pay yet. So be sure you have your card in hand. The place has a good flow and nicely decorated. The prices are very reasonable and the bagels and other pastries look like they are made fresh each day. A good recipe for success. I look forward to stopping in with my wife to enjoy downtowns long awaited coffee hub! read more

Coffee Shop No. 488 Central Coffee & Crumb Sevierville, TN March 27, 2025 WOW!! The attention to detail in the shop's decor really stood out to me the moment I opened the door. The shop is located in the corner of the first floor of the Historic Central Hotel in downtown Sevierville, Tennessee. It is meticulously decorated with what reminded me of a Victorian style seating area on one side of the shop and a Parisian style on the other side. Gold frames, mirrors and portraits decorated pale pink walls. Bouquets of pastel peonies sit on a bar placed in front of the windows perfect for people watching. Single stem peonies rested happily in delicate small fluted vases and welcomed guests at each table. Myy favorite were the vintage trunks placed against the walls in one of the corners. I have yet to visit Paris, but as I sipped on my cortado I daydreamed about the magic of a French cafe. One day in my future when I am leisurely sitting outside on a terrace wearing a red beret (cliche I know) sipping on my cortado and watching the world stroll by. Sounds like a perfect day to me. Central Coffee & Crumb just set a new standard for matcha. This is the first matcha I've had in a long time that doesn't taste artificial at all -- smooth, earthy, and perfectly balanced. I tried the cookie butter matcha and learned they make their syrups in-house, which explains why it wasn't overly sweet or fake-tasting. It was so good I had to double back and come back the very next morning. That's how you know it's real. read more

I love this coffee shop!! I am a bit of a coffee snob and always picky about my lattes not being too milky or too sweet but still good flavor... this place has NAILED IT! Not to mention the chocolate croissant I got was great! It's so cute inside and feels so dreamy. The staff was so helpful in answering all of our conversations and giving us recommendations. This is what used to be Honeybee. The baristas told me they did a rebrand. The inside was clean and looked comfy. I just came in for a simple hot vanilla latte and it is one of the best tasting I have had. The staff was beyond friendly, the coffee was good and you definitely get what you pay for. This coffee shop used to be the best in Sevierville, but now it's a total joke. Whoever decided to remodel it must have been trying to recreate their grandmother's living room, except somehow even less inviting. The vibe is suffocating, the seating is practically nonexistent, and if the grandmas have company, good luck finding a spot. Honestly, I'm shocked they didn't slap plastic covers on the couches, not that it would matter since they're falling apart and unusable. And no WiFi? What kind of coffee shop in 2025 doesn't offer WiFi? Honeybee was a local favorite, perfect for meetings or getting work done, but now it's just another overpriced tourist trap. Speaking of overpriced,$5.50 for an Americano? Are you kidding? That's a full $2 increase for the same basic drink. Oh, and they don't take cash either. This place has completely alienated its regulars, and for what? A half-baked, broken-down, grandma-core aesthetic that nobody asked for? I used to come here almost every day, but after this disaster of a remodel, I won't be back. read more

In fact, we walked about a mile from our hotel specifically to come here because we remembered it from a previous trip. That's a pretty strong endorsement considering there are approximately 7,000 places in Gatlinburg willing to sell you coffee, fudge, pancakes, taffy, or some combination of all four. Tucked away inside The Village, Coffee & Company has that hidden gem feel that makes you wonder how many people walk right past it without realizing what's waiting inside. The coffee itself is solid. One thing I appreciated was the balance. Too many coffee shops seem to believe that foam should either completely dominate the drink or be absent altogether. Here, the ratio of coffee to froth was right where it should be, allowing the coffee itself to remain the star of the show. I ordered a flavored coffee, and while I wasn't completely in love with the particular caramel syrup they use, that's more personal preference than criticism. Coffee flavors are a bit like pizza toppings... ask ten people and you'll get twelve opinions. The drink was still enjoyable and well made. The staff deserves credit as well. Friendly, efficient, and quick without making the experience feel rushed. They seemed genuinely happy to be there, which isn't always guaranteed when dealing with tourists before they've had their caffeine. What I like most about Coffee & Company is that it knows exactly what it is. It's not trying to be a trendy coffee laboratory where your drink arrives after a 15-minute explanation of bean origins and atmospheric conditions during harvest season. It's simply a really good coffee shop serving really good coffee in a charming location. Would I walk a mile for it? Absolutely. Would I walk five miles? Let's not get carried away. Four stars. A hidden gem that's worth seeking out, especially if you're wandering through The Village Shops and need a quality cup of coffee to fuel your next round of Gatlinburg adventures.
