We were looking for a local coffee shop to try while visiting the town. We parked out side and my husband and mother in law went inside and in stayed in the truck with the kids. I told my husband I'll go in after he gets back (so we didn't have to take the kids out). We he came back out the first thing he said when get got back in the truck was "those guys are really cool". I wasn't sure what to expect after hearing that. But as soon as I walked in I felt welcomed and just a great warm embrace. They are a great team with amazing costumer service. I always have to check out the local coffee shops when I'm on vacation as opposed to the big chains, and I found Espresso Yourself while visiting Pigeon Forge. Loved the vibe of this cool little place. The staff was welcoming and made sure the latte was exactly how I wanted it. If something is wrong they will make it right . Little on the pricey side but you are supporting a new small business . Espresso-no no no. $9.xx for a large hot mocha that was not particularly chocolatey or well balanced. The music in here was blaring and assaultive. Have you ever been in a car next to someone who was playing crap music with the base turned up to 12? You know, where you can see the windows vibrating and feel the beat thumping from two car lengths away? That's exactly what it was like in this shop. I'm not a music prude, and it's not about the genre of music that was playing. It's about feeling my head feeling like it's about to explode while I'm waiting for my $9.xx sub par mocha to be made. Espresso Yourself is a solid stop for a quick coffee and a pastry. My wife and I were killing time in the Old Mill district of Pigeon Forge and stumbled across this place. Espresso Yourself was quiet around 10am on a week day. We walked in and got in line. One person in front of us. The pastry case looked a little wiped out already. Perhaps we missed their morning rush. Luckily, they had a few cinnamon rolls left and we were able to snag one of those. The girl behind the counter was friendly and got us taken care of. We both ordered hot chocolates. Coffee lately as been to much for me and my wife is particular about her coffee. It was a brisk morning, not super cold out, but hot chocolate sounded like it would hit the spot. The drinks and food were up quick. The hot chocolates were hot, creamy and rich with chocolate. The cinnamon roll was a small and a little on the dry side but it was good. It had a decent layer of cream cheese icing on top and it hit the spot. This was just a holdover until our lunch so it worked. If you're looking for a simple, easy and quick breakfast in the Old Mill district, check this place out. read more

Walked into this coffee shop and loved all the natural wood inside! They had so many syrup options and offered milk alternatives! I went with a latte from their seasonal menu: pumpkin patch latte. It had brown sugar and pumpkin syrup. It was delicious! I am also happy that this cafe uses monin syrup (my fave). My bf got a hazelnut chai and it was so good! We also ordered a pecan sticky bun. The price is ridiculous. I payed $22 for a latte and a frappe. There are 3 different boards you have to navigate in order to get your food/drinks. Oh..but don't worry you've got plenty of time to order your food. The service is terrible and you don't get acknowledged at all until everyone ahead of you's order is completely made. I love a good latte and really enjoy local coffee shops. This has, by far, been my favorite one we have tried on this trip to Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge area. I got a triple iced soy latte with white mocha (half sweet) and it is honestly one of the best I have had in a long time. My mom and I both could not stop talking about how much we loved it. The barista behind the counter was really friendly and kind and went out of his way to help us. And there are these really sturdy rocking chairs that were great to just rest in. I liked it so much we are going to stop in on our drive home tomorrow. Oh. Also really nice bathrooms and cute shops nearby. read more

Great customer service, the employees were all super friendly and accommodating, but if you are a snob like me, I would suggest going elsewhere. The espresso is not dialed in correctly, espresso is extremely water and under extracted. I watched a shot be pulled in like maybe 15 seconds. Notes for management as a barista--You need to ground your espresso much finer and likely increase the amount of espresso grinds as well. You want around 18g of espresso beans to yield 36g of brewed espresso in around 25-30 seconds. You need to be weighing your shot output to make good coffee. read more

This was the most uncomfortable coffee shop experiences I've ever had. Drinks are insanely overpriced, but the real issue was the (owner?)/operator's aggressive and downright creepy behavior. While waiting for the rest of our group, we used the bathroom before ordering. He stared us down the entire time, made a weird, aggressive "come here" hand gesture (like he needed to have a word with me), and demanded to know what he could "get for us." When I explained we were waiting for others and I was stepping outside to help them find the place, he demanded to know who we were waiting on and where they were coming from. My wife was so freaked out by him that she ordered a latte (8 dollars before tax for the smallest size they have!!!!!). Oh, and before we ordered he never mentioned his credit card machine was down. When we went to pay, he told us that and said, "so what are we going to do about this?". What a clown. Absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for. And after all of this, the coffee was terrible. This is by far the worst coffee shop I have ever been to in my entire life. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

From the first time we stepped into this cute little coffee place, we received the wonderful southern hospitality one would hope to receive. The ladies were friendly and engaging and offered wonderful suggestions. I got my usual Americano with heavy cream (they even steamed the heavy cream for me!), and my friend ordered a holiday latte (I can't remember which one, but it was a suggestion by lady working there and my friend said it was delicious!). Don't rush out the door after you've received your delicious coffee! The rocking chairs are cute and comfortable, and the ambience is inviting. TOP NOTCH. My wife and I were riding around, shopping killing time before attending the Dixie Stampede, like all Tourists. In desperate need of espresso. I Googled coffee and found this Gem. Not realizing the time, when we pulled into the parking lot they (owner and employee) were walking out the door locking up for the day. I have never heard of anyone reopening for just one customer. But he insisted we come in and would not take "no" for answer. I tried to discourage him because I felt bad, still, he all but pulled me out of the car. Their attitude was great and warming with gentle conversation. The establishment was inviting and cozy. The coffee was absolutely great. Not sure what blend of espresso was used but the 4 shots I received was out of this world. My wife received a White Chocolate Frappuccino and loved it also.
