Always looking for a new bookstore when visiting a new city. Excited to stop in and look around…read more This is a HUGE store with both an upstairs and downstairs. There are books for all ages from newborn to seniors. There are more than books here! We enjoyed taking our time and looking at as much as we could in the hour we had available on this day. I love looking at cookbooks and there is an excellent variety to choose from. Books from local authors and books related to Tennessee and its history are displayed nicely. I knew I wasn't leaving without at least one book and I found two paperbacks for $5.99 each. Both books from best selling authors that I am excited to read. I highly recommend stopping in to pick out a book! Note: not a moon pie fan so I can't comment on that part of the store.

So, before I used my credit card anywhere, I shopped or bought food (even at restaurants) I asked if I would be charged a service fee. I remember the items I bought at this store and I asked the two ladies if I would be charged. One was wrapping items and the other rang my purchases. I wasn't happy I was told no service fee. Then returned home to do my bills from the trip and saw I was charged 3.4% extra just for using my card. I would have gladly given cash. I feel employees and the owner should be honest about charging this credit card service fee. For this reason, I had to rate this store lower. It's also easy enough to just post a sign at your register saying customers who use credit will be charged a service fee of 3.4%.

My kids were trying to figure out which sample they wanted to try and my 5 year old said he just wanted normal honey. So I asked the employee which ones were unflavored. I asked "so this one that says orange blossom is not orange blossom flavored?" The employee says "no they are ALL unflavored they are ALL just honey with the ESSENCE of flavors". I definitely picked up on her bad attitude and rude tone of voice but it wasn't until after we left that my partner informed me that he heard her call me a dumb ass under her breath.
