This way was pretty warm inside, not sure if they have AC or not. They had a few racks of stuff to choose from between breads and treats I got the Choco flan because that's one of my favorite Mexican desserts. It wasn't very sweet and it just tasted off. Another of my favorite is the tres leches. so I took a bite and I spit it right out it was disgusting. When I lifted up it was goopy and the three milks should not be goopy and it tasted like rotten milk it was disgusting. The third thing I got was a custard filled doughnut. At least that was soso. 6:13 53 Juquilita Bakery I don't recommend, such terrible service and the food tasted bad! I used to like to stop there on my way to Pigeon Forge. Tlive more than an hour from this Mexican Bakery. However, this last time I stopped, the experience was not the same. My favorite was the cheese and jalapeño relleno bread. They also carry some with just cheese. So, I asked the employees which were the ones with jalapeños in them. The employee said they all had jalapeño's and cheese. I purchased two of them. When I arrived at home, the bread instead had chorizo and potatoes inside. The taste was so bad and cold. I was disappointed. So, I called the bakery hoping to get replacements of jalapeño and cheese whenever I have the opportunity to stop by there, since it wasn't my fault. The employee told me no. I told her I could take a photo and keep the receipt. Nope, she didn't care. In addition, since I live more than an hour away, I asked the employee for a box to place the bread in, so the frosting on the small cakes wouldn't get messed up. Upon, looking at my receipt at home to call them, I noticed I was charged $2.25 for a thin little box that one gets free for purchasing donuts at a donut shop. If the employee had told me that there is a charge for the box, I would've had her place the bread in bags instead. This Mexican bakery is not a place I recommend to buy from. Best authentic Latin bakery you will find in East TN. We live in Knoxville and find excuses to go to Morristown to go buy sweet bread here. It's fresh, homemade, and theirs a variety. I love this place. read more

Love their pumpkin empañadas & their cookies along with their Pan de Huevo. Very nice people working there & helpful.

Bought a huge bag of desserts. They looked & smelled fantastic. It is all super dry, to the point of completely crumbling apart. Not to mention zero flavor. The churro was rancid & burnt. I've had better dessert at the Walmart bakery. We will not be back. read more

Seriously, go here. - Empanadas de camote (I believe they were camote, but could have been calabaza, either way something you NEVER see outside of Texas/Mexico) - Those bolillos with jalapeños and cheese inside them!! I don't even know what they're called (someone help me) but they're SO GOOD! And tons of other good stuff ala Your standard Mexican panadería. Everything in the bakery was beautiful. So many varieties of pan dulce! The doughnuts were fantastic and the prices are crazy reasonable.

Finally! I moved Tennessee 10 years ago and I've tried to find an authentic panaderia and I finally found it. I walked in the door and the wonderful smell reminded me of home and the pan dulce was delicious! They even had empanadas de calabasa, which I have never been able to find. Unfortunately this is an hour away from home, but that won't stop me from making the drive when we have a craving. read more
