Great experience , great service. I stopped by here early before hitting the airport on the way home. The environment is really colorful and fun....somewhat 70/80 retro~ish. I was seated fairly immediately and the server was sooo friendly! I ordered something called a Bella Benny. Basically 2 different and unique takes on the Benedict. While ordering, I had conversation with the server where I noted that this was my first visit to Snooze and that I was from FL. A few minutes later, she came back with a plate....she said "this is the dish that put us on the map", this is for you to try, on the house. I was blown away by this kind of attention to the customer! The dish, was pineapple pancakes. An interesting combination. I'm not typically a pancake guy, but the pineapple worked well here. It was also very big! As for what I ordered, the Benny was tasty. One of them had a vinaigrette on it that made the quite unique.....tasty unique! Overall- highly recommend! Excellent from beginning to end...met some Facebook friends who I had never met before, and I picked Snooze (They were from Kansas) They said "If this sucks it's on you"...well Snooze delivered. Unbeknownst to myself, Snooze is apparently an institution out here in Denver! My girlfriend had never been here despite her time living out here, so it sounded like a good idea for my first real meal in the area. I had the 3 Egg Omelet with bacon, sausage, and Swiss cheese with a side of their famous chicken sausage and a double order of hash browns (I'm good on the toast). I thought there would be more egg, but the omelet was actually fairly meaty and cheesy. I'm an egg guy, so of course I want more eggs! Can't complain about the construction of my food though, it was pretty well made. Also, the chicken sausage was tremendous! Kinda regretted not getting it in my omelet, it really is that good. Also tried my girlfriend's Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes. Apparently, any pancake here can be made gluten-free (which probably explains why the food took so long). Gluten-free or not, these were some DELICIOUS pancakes. If I didn't love eggs so much, I probably would've gotten pancakes and regretted the sugar high after. Service here was alright. Our waitress did ask us if we were ready within a minute of us sitting down, but we weren't quite ready. Took her a bit to come back to us since she had to attend to other tables, but that's on us. Also the food did take a while to get to us, but again that's probably due to the gluten-free pancakes probably taking longer to make than usual. Was also reading about the notoriously long lines here. Came here on a Saturday around 10 am. Put our name down and the wait was only 30 minutes. Maybe we got lucky and the line wasn't too long! Either way, no dreaded one hour wait so I was good. I would definitely want to try Snooze again if I were in Denver. But more importantly for me, there's one in Tustin so I can try it again without having to change time zones! read more

Yes it takes a bit longer than other places to get the food out - but that is because of the high quality and uniqueness of the dishes. Service Excellent - friendly service. My only complaint is the volume level - it can get pretty loud + music and I seem to have bad luck with table and speaker placement. Otherwise a solid pick and better than other nearby options. I thought sweet potato would be my favorite but the sweeter ones like pineapple and the blueberry were the winners. We walked in to a slight snafoo with the online wait list which was worked out. The atmosphere here is retro 50's and 60's with upbeat contemporary music - maybe a little loud for me early in the morning. The Smashed Avocado Benny was better than it looked. The slightly spicy and peppery Benny was full of fresh flavor. I should have ordered a half order giving me one Benny because it was simply too much. The hash browns were really good - crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Definitely different twist. Our waitress was fantastic and really on top of refilling our coffees and such. It's like a kicked-up Cora, but with loose-leaf tea and Snooze-branded merchandise that you can buy. We arrived fairly early. It was around 8-ish in the morning and we didn't have a problem snagging a table. At around 9 am, you could immediately see a lineup for a table. My friend brought a bunch of birthday gifts, including a plush penguin (he's with me in my profile pic). My gifts sat in a chair, as we had an extra one at our table. The menu gives you a ton of variety. I have a weakness for corned beef hash. Naturally, I said yes the hash, which had poblanos and onions. I got my two eggs scrambled. I also got whole wheat toast. I loved my food. Everything was delightful and tasty. The portions were huge, which I often forget about when I am stateside. I got loose-leaf mint tea, which I absolutely loved. It was fragrant and perfect. There is a bar at Snooze. I saw mimosas on the menu, but I didn't get one when I was there. I looked at the Snooze clothing that I could get before we left the eatery. I knew that I didn't need any clothing, but the sweatshirt had caught my attention. You can also order items online. I enjoyed my time here. I would definitely come back and eat here again. You can't wait inside due to social distancing and they are sitting every other table in side and the outside is very spaced apart. We sat outside in the enclosed heated patio. If you read no further in my review please read this: ORDER A SIDE OF PANCAKE!!!!! Okay now that the most important tip is out of the way on with the rest of the review. We were in town for two days and ate at Snooze for both breakfasts. I first need to comment on the incredibly friendly and attentive staff, we had different waitresses both times and both were fantastic! I only remember one of there names, Jo, but both I can't say enough great things about! When it comes to breakfast I am a savory person but on this occasion I was also craving a pancake. When I explained my dilemma to the waitress she suggested order both! She explained that I could get the savory dish I wanted and get a side pancake. I ended up ordering the garden omelette which was very good and full of flavor. I also took the waitresses suggestion and ordered a side blueberry pancake. The pancake was absolutely the best one I have ever had! There were the perfect number of blueberries and they were soft on the inside and crisp on the inside (crisp maybe isn't the right description but trust me it's perfect). The omelette was also very good! It was packed with veggies and flavor! Our waitress brought us over some hot sauces which paired nicely with the flavors of the omelette. I unfortunately I don't live anywhere near a Snooze, actually it might actually be a good thing because I would never not be eating here!
