My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our dinner here! I got the sizzling filet and he got filet Rossini, and both of the dishes had excellent sauces! His had a pate on it that was really delightful and mine had a soy/wine reduction that was unique and perfect. The owners are really nice too!

We had a great experience at The Snooty Frog! Very cozy restaurant with a nice family atmosphere, great service and quality food. Good idea for a date night! Highly recommend eating here and then walking next door to check out a play at the local theater! We'll be back, for sure!

We ended up here because of a Groupon deal, which seems a little ironic because there are a few complaints about Groupon deals scattered amongst the Yelp reviews - "the Groupon deal didn't allow this or that... blah, blah." Whatever. Groupon deals often have limitations, get over it - or don't get Groupon deals! I'm thankful for Groupon because without it, we probably never would have stumbled across this place... so Groupon did us a HUGE favor before we ever took a bite! The first thing we did (due to the Groupon gripes) was ask what we could have and what we couldn't have due to our Groupon deal and it was clearly and completely explained to us. We both chose specials - which were covered by our Groupon deal. My guest ordered the double cut pork chop and I ordered the smoked salmon fettuccine Alfredo. We shared back and forth and I felt both dishes were excellent. The pork was tender, juicy and very flavorful... the fettuccine rich, creamy and also done "just right". The thing that struck me most was the delicate balance of flavors achieved in the kitchen - the chef clearly has some talent in this area.

Wow, this place is still a hidden "Gem" I first came here in 1987 & loved it. I have been many times since then but not in the last few years. The ambiance, food & quality of service is second to none. #Eatlocal & enjoy their great food.

While their menu is small and the food is somewhat pricey, this is a cute and lovely place for a nice meal. I would recommend stopping here for a special occasion or celebration. The owners/staff are very friendly, and they restaurant is quite clean! They play soft piano music in the background and keep the lighting mostly muted, which creates a nice ambience. I recommend sitting in the back during the cooler months as they have a nice small electric fireplace. I visited this restaurant recently with my mom and we were greeted and seated right away, and told what the special for the evening was (salmon), along with the soup (white onion). My mom and I both wanted to try the soup, so we each ordered a cup of that, then shared a plate of the salmon special. What a treat! The soup was to die for....it was so tasty, j wanted to fill a big tub of it and swim in it - haha!! Seriously though, it was delectable and I hope they offer it again. Then there was the salmon....can I just say, WOW?! The fish was cooked to perfection and the dill sauce it was served with was rich in flavor and creamy to perfection. I need that recipe stat! It was served with rice and sauteéd winter squash. Absolutely wonderful! While I did not order any wine, I did notice they have a rather large wine list with wonderful options. My mom ordered a glass of wine and she rather enjoyed it! Definitely a neat place to stop by for a nice, upscale dinner of glorious tasting home cooked food with a fancy flair!!

I also loved the coffee bar, and the food itself was genuinely very good. That said, the ordering system really took away from the experience. Having to stand in one long line for drinks and another line for food just feels frustrating and inefficient, especially on a busy holiday like Mother's Day. It honestly felt more like serving yourself than dining out, yet the payment screen still pushes 18-25% tips. Mother's Day especially needed much better signage, more organization, and additional registers open. The lines were extremely long and moved painfully slow just to place an order. I really do love the concept and the atmosphere here, but the customer flow and service setup could use some major improvements during high-volume events.

I remember visiting Fork Lift like 10 years ago and really liking it - it is a sister store of Nugget Market I believe. The inside was massive, clean and well organized. I loved seeing their bulk spices, nuts, teas and candy options! Their butcher shop and fish section looked very fresh and can we talk about their massive cheese selections!? Brought to you by the family-owned, upscale and very successful, Nugget chain of grocery stores. I became very well acquainted with the Nugget markets living in Davis. There were two stores not far from each other and they were always packed. I shopped at the smaller one as it was closer to my home. It is literally the only place I ever shopped for food.I cannot imagine shopping anywhere else. When I moved to El Dorado Hills 5 years ago... thank goodness there was a big and beautiful Nugget a mile and half away. My point is all Nugget markets are quite incredible. Nothing compares to them. Excellent quality, in-house prepared food, bakery... TDF, floral, meat department, liquor, and fabulous fresh produce section. Fork Lift is to me like the Nugget markets on steroids! I was astonished at the size of the store and cool inside architectural design. Yes it is hip! Super clean, well stocked in everything. Organized. Quite impressive. And the same great departments as I mentioned above that are available in the Nugget stores are right here too! The chatter is that the Fork Lift offers many discounted prices but honestly, I never see them. Then I heard the lower priced items are strategically placed in and around the store. Who knows. I enjoy taking the drive up the hill to Cameron Park occasionally just to wander around and marvel at this shopping mecca! Easy exit off the freeway and fast to find. Plenty of parking. Worth checking out if you are in the area or on the way to or returning from Tahoe. Did I mention super duper customer service!?! And weekly specials! Geez... a girl cannot remember everything.:) Here is to good eating!

I have made amazing friends at Wally's and I consider it to be 'the spot' in Cameron Park. However, a specific manager has really left me with a horrible taste in my mouth. Andy has , on numerous occasions , lied and been on some weird power trip with myself and my best-friend that are consistent regulars to this establishment. If you have two well-mannered, consistent, loyal regulars to your bar top (who are personal friends with 60% of the staff) ... you probably shouldn't lie to them when they ask for the shade blinds to be opened on a beautiful spring night. On three separate occasions, Andy has refused to open the outdoor patio shade screens during sunset when requested. On all 3 occasions, there were only 4-6 other people at the 20ish bar top inside. When we requested to raise the screens to our bartender, we were met with Andy's response: "other regulars want them down, so I'm not raising them". No other regulars at the bar top , no one anywhere near the patio. Again, we are FREQUENT regulars, requesting this on beautiful California spring nights, when no one at the bar top inside is anywhere near the glare range of the screens coming up. Honestly, anytime I walk in and Andy is managing I'm annoyed. He plays immature games for attention, & that's with people that come there frequently! If he treats any first time customers of Wally's this way, it's a shame, because every other employee of this establishment has been nothing but amazing. This review is directly a review of Andy, not of any other member on staff, or for the establishment as a whole. Wallys is my favorite place in Cameron Park, hands down, even with the BS this manager puts out to his regulars.

Friendly attentive, but not hovering there is a TV here riding off in the distance and it has cooking shows running on it which is fun but no sound I think but nice to watch. The music writing in here is nice. The decor in here is lovely and authentic looking. It's very clean in here. They have high chairs for small children, unique table settings. Crab Rangoons - wow! Taste homemade fresh! These are made how they're supposed to be made with an emphasis on crab and the crisp phyllo dough perfect crispy, crunchy light and airy compliments the appetizer- they're not super greasy they're clean and it really honors the crab. It's not overwhelmingly cream cheese and the sweet-and-sour sauce is amazing. It's not like that red heavily syrup sauce. It's a lighter sauce like honey almost? Left me wanting more. Khao soi (curry chicken mild) Amazing flavor profile! I have to admit I was not expecting a giant drumstick in my meal, but that's because the other place I went always had chopped chicken in there and I gotta tell you it was refreshing because it was really fresh and tasty. I just wasn't used to deconstructing my own chicken so I'm weird like that I guess but it was really good. I probably would've liked more vegetables in it, but the taste is just divine. There's some carrot and onion in there a little bit of pepperoncini too! Yummy! I ordered a mild because I'm a wimp! It's a curry style dish. It has these amazing noodles on them. They are crunchy on the top and they get soggy on the bottom and that texture difference is just amazing. Give it a try. Pad See Ew (beef) Big flat noodles, kind of a sweet dish, no spiciness here so if you're worried about anything being spicy, this is a good dish for you. Kind of savory and sweet very tasty very filling. The broccoli was to die for it was cooked perfectly. Green Curry (chicken) Medium-A true medium the head builds and is tasty. Saucy without being thick, a good thin consistency. Fair amount of chicken. Veggies lots of them,, eggplant, carrot, bamboo shoots, onion and green beans. Added some jasmine rice for perfection. And we have drunken noodles to go, so we might post those pictures later! Thank you for being open at 3 o'clock! I called just after 5 pm when they open, but no answer. I get that they are busy so gave it a few minutes and tried again. This time the young gal who answered just picked up and said "hold!" (no greeting, very abrupt & almost angry sounding) and finally came back 10 minutes later (5:18pm, no niceties like "thanks for holding"). I know the menu well so quickly gave her the order with the salad dressing preference. She abruptly told me salad is an extra charge on to go orders (ok, fine) and that the food wouldn't be ready until at least 5:50pm, almost as if she was trying to bait me into canceling the order.
