Many of the reviews here say this place is expensive. It is. But the portions are HUGE. Do not, DO NOT, get anything but a small UNLESS you are sharing. Also, a little know fact (read the small print ppl): you get a free sauce. Not the ooey gooey stuff in a bowl, but the syrups in the squeeze bottles off to the side. Take advantage of it! I got the original with raspberries and chocolate syrup (the freebie). I liked it a lot! The froyo was tangy and addicting. Would go back, only for smaller size. read more

I'll admit freely, I like a Snog as much as the next person (which, if you don't know, is a suitably high degree on the Scale of Liking Things). But let's just say that I was unimpressed by my most recent visit to the most recently opened location in the Snog Empire. You see, The guy who helped me misunderstood my order, so great confusion ensued at the till. The guy who prepared my Snog greatly skimped on the toppings. I mean, 15 blueberries aren't worth 75p. Come on. And the music was blaring at such a ridiculous volume that I couldn't even enjoy my froyo in peace despite wearing my noise-isolating earbuds and trying to listen to my own music. So, basically, my experience today at this location was not at all worth the £4.60 I paid for a 'Classic' Snog with two toppings. I left prematurely due to the music, trying to carry my froyo whilst handling an open umbrella and eating a cold Snog with too-few toppings in the chilly rain. This was an epic fail on the value-for-money front. Let's just say: I won't be returning to this Snog location any time soon. read more

This was my first snog. The bright branding and promise of a fat free treat drew me in. It's quite a small shop, but luckily there were no queues when we arrived. We checked out the array of toppings you could add, ranging from delicious berries and tropical fruits to marshmallows, sweets and chocolate pieces. I opted for a coconut yoghurt with three fruity toppings, the boy opted for chocolate yoghurt with slightly more naughty sweet brownie toppings. The menu is quite expensive for frozen yoghurt, mine was a small but the three toppings made it add up to over £5. But it was a nice, healthy treat, which can be hard to find when out and about, so worth the money in my opinion. The cute little shop had some low tables, stools and benches, so we sat and ate inside, watching the queue grow long and eyeing up what other people chose as their combination of toppings. The staff were efficient and friendly, but served everyone quickly. Which is all you need for collecting your favourite frozen yoghurt! By the time we left we had brain freeze and we're pretty cold, but all in all it was a good experience. I'll go back. read more

*Accidentally posted this review at a different Snog location, oops!* Froyo is virtually a staple food item in LA, where I'm from, so while here in London studying for the summer, I started to crave some. My friends and I had heard about Snog, so we decided to check it out. We walked in and were surprised by how cute the place was decorated with the changing colored lights, murals on the walls, and even cute tables and seats. The three of us decided to go for a regular size with 3 toppings, which also comes with a collectible spoon. The cashier was a cute young gentleman and while we were having trouble deciding what to order, he gave us a sample. I was surprised how good it was. I like my froyo tart (real frozen yogurt), not sweet and creamy to the point where it tastes like ice cream. Snog gets froyo right =) Even though we had a rather enjoyable experience, for a single serving, 3+ pounds is rather expensive. It's cheaper in the US where we charge by weight. read more

DISCLAIMER: When I use the word "yog," I am NOT talking about the frozen yogurt from the "Yog" Yogurt Shop here in London. "Yog" is simply my abbreviation for frozen yogurt. I am not sure if I am just so deprived of good frozen yogurt at this point, or if my good experience at SNOG in Covent Garden was real, but it was my best froyo experience (so far) since being in London. About a week ago I visited the small SNOG shop in Liberty, conveniently located on Carnaby Street, but found it to be lacking in the different sizes and flavours. When I got to the shop of Garrick Street, I was delighted to see that there were three flavours and 3 different SNOG sizes to choose from. Because I have been DYING for a proper cup of froyo the "size of my dome," as I say, I ordered the "massive" chocolate SNOG with no toppings. The cup size was about the average size cup they use for the self serve yogurt in the states (Yogurtland). Because the size looked the same as the yogurt cups I had easily inhaled before, I didn't hesitate with my order. When I walked outside of the somewhat tacky and futuristic-style shop, and started going at my cup of SNOG, I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor was different, but so delicious. It was not anything like any chocolate yogurt I had tried before. Instead it tasted across from their natural flavor and the traditional chocolate I had tasted before, so with a slight tart aftertaste. The consistency of the yogurt was perfect, very creamy and firm, but not icy. So I kept going at my SNOG and about 1/2 way through, I was worried I could not finish the cup. Let me tell you, this has NEVER happened. Back in the states I would get cups of yog the size of my dome about 5 days a week, and it wouldn't phase me. There has never been a time where I thought I could not finish my yog. This was the first time, and I was worried, worried that I have lost my yog stamina over the past couple weeks. Regardless, the chocolate SNOG flavour is amazing and I am sure I will return to SNOG regularly. However, I still need to try a) Frae b) Yog c) Frog and d) Muffinskis to see which location has the best yog in all of sunny Londontown. read more

Fun place, funny people. Had a good time at Snog. I must admit I was very nervous when they mentioned they use Agave nectar as a sweetner..I was hesitant but then thought what the hey it is natural...but then so is Marijuana...I digress... I got the plain yogurt with passion fruit topping. It was spectacular. Hubby got the apple pie yogurt with brownie topping, but couldn't finish it,I was happy to do the honors for him. I love SNOG frozen yoghurts, It's the epitome of summer for me. Ice cream just doesn't hit the spot anymore. Of course I'm only talking about the natural froyo. The green tea and chocolate counterparts have a lot to be desired. I just eat my natural flavour froyo on it's own but there are a plethora of toppings you could add on. I'd just stick to the fruit or none, and tip: the chocolate hearts/stars don't taste very nice at all. Decent place to come and have some yoghurt to help digest all that food you just had nearby. The staff is pretty friendly but I wouldn't be so sure of the bright colour behind the counter. But they didn't make up for the bad fruit that came in my SNOG, mangos tasted weird and teh strawberries were mushed up. :( Also had the same problems as Larissa, they didn't give me as much toppings as the other locations. I'm reviewing this place with comparison to frozen yogurts I've experienced by living in the US. This Snog place was the first and only frozen yogurt I've passed by while visiting London and I'm going to say it does not disappoint you. It's similar to any non-self served yogurt stores, which you first choose size and decide on yogurt flavor. Then price depends on getting toppings or not. Although variety is not a lot, the flavors are very satisfying and fresh. Original, plain tart and blueberry is great. I LOVE their toppings, especially the hot and warm ones. NONE of the yogurt places I've been to back home has such things. I chose the warm apple crisp and I seriously spazz at how great it was. And it's cute how they have heart-shaped chocolate chips. :) I definitely recommend coming here anytime for hangouts or even to get some sweets after dinner. My first Snog was at the Covent Garden location back in March, and the frozen yogurt was on point. Their flavor selection was great, the toppings were so fresh, and I could tell the people working behind the counter loved their job. There was no queue and I was hungry, so I got a regular-sized green tea yogurt, with fresh strawberries and raspberries. The quality of the yogurt was definitely admirable, and it didn't taste fake or artificial. The finished product was worthy enough to make an appearance on my Instagram. I love their neon pink and white color scheme, and their designs are fun and clean-cut. We were tempted into Snog by a guy offering free tasters outside...who would refuse a little bit of free frozen yoghurt? It's a cute little shop with a few tables and a pretty extensive menu. The staff were really friendly and the yoghurt we tried was delicious and so creamy. finally came here to get a taste of the much hyped snog. it's more tart-y than creamy, but lacks the essential milky flavour. 2.95 for a small and no topping is slightly steep compared to froyo in good ol America innit. The warm winter toppings (apple crumble, shot of espresso, pear and cinnamon) are an extra 1.60, with this economy, literally, is burning holes in my wallet. You would think froyo is meant to be eaten cold (duh), and you'd call what's melted- a MILKSHAKE. but no. snog decides to add hot toppings on an ice cold yogurt- just for winter's sake. the result? strangely melty but not melty yogurt.. I'm sure if I wanted my yogurt to melt I would have just WAITED for it to melt... nevertheless, the pear was cooked to soft and cut into small cubes, blended with flow-y cinnamon sauce that was just at the right sweetness. the pear cinnamon topping wasn't much to complain about other than the extra POUND (pun intended) that was added to both me and my yogurt. oh by the way, I had a taste of their green tea flavour, which was so tasteless I had to ask the waiter if she gave me the wrong flavour. lesson learnt: green tea flavour is no bueno kiddos. read more

I love to snog and then I discovered Snog and feel in love even more. It's a fabulous treat, albeit very expensive which is the only downside for me. At the Convent Garden location I haven't had any problems with staff, with ordering or how much fruit i received and it all was very fresh. They were even kind enough to give samples to a friend who had never tasted it before. I only wish it wasn't that pricey so I could enjoy it every day! If you're visiting have it once but then you might get depressed as you can't get t anywhere else but London. I love living here. read more

If you love your fro-yo you'll love snog, although I think it's quite over-priced and I have tasted better. The yoghurt is tasty and there are plenty of toppings but I personally find it a little more bland and a little less creamy than other chains' product, e.g. Frae. I've got to hand it to snog for having awesome decor, however, as the mesmerising disco lighting and 'Kawaii' styling makes any visit here a lot of fun. Snog is a trendy fashionable venue that will most definitely catch your eye from across the street, well it caught mine! It's multicoloured light bulbs scattered across the ceiling in a wavy pattern and fluorescent background of pink gives this place a "trippy" feel to say the least. Snog is a pure frozen yoghurt that comes in 3 different flavours of natural, chocolate and green tea. 1st you choose your flavour then how many topping you want on your yoghurt, the maximum being 3. The topping include the choice of fresh fruit, biscuits, brownies or sweets. Essentially the yoghurt has no fat and little calories creating more room to indulge on the toppings! This place is OK if you are wanting a frozen yogurt. I didn't find anything really special about the actual product. The frozen yogurt is much like frozen yogurt anywhere now. They serve it in three flavors: plain, green tea, chocolate with loads of topping choices. The thing that makes this place different is location and atmosphere. It's a little on the pricey side- maybe because of it's location in Covent Garden. I haven't been to any of the other Snog's so I'm not sure what they are like, but I found this one to be a bit much. The bright colours and loud music was sensory overload. Plus, they totally play up the innuendo. Yes, I get it. Snog is another term for making out. One of this overpriced frozen yoghurts shops, which have become a favourite for teenagers, so all the seats are usually taken on a sunny afternoon. This chain has been designed in quite a striking way, although no particularly my taste. According to the owners, they wanted to replicate a Summer day out (hence the floor looking like grass). However, when you are inside it feels more like being in a colourful igloo in the middle of the Artic. It looks quite funky with comic characters painted on the white walls, and colouful lights hanging from the ceiling. Other than that, it offers quite tasteless frozen yoghurts with a few toppings to choose from. That is all. The one thing that I love from Snog is their wheat and gluten-free brownies, which are delicious, although I happened to have one last week that was very hard. Considering there are only three flavors of yogurt (natural, chocolate, and green tea - which they were out of when I arrived), I wonder if the Snog designers compensate by decorating the place with as many flashing colored lights as possible. I felt as if I was located in a cross between a super mario brothers video game and, well, maybe a rave? All in all, decent tart, pink-berry frozen yogurt. With a zillion toppings. Which they skimp on. (You think for a pound you'd get at least more than a tablespoon of almonds.) Our recent trip to SNOG - Garrick Street was distressing. The staff were rude and ignorant when they refused to accept our £20 note. The note was printed in a Northern Ireland bank, was new and stated clearly on the front 'British Pounds Sterling'. Both members of staff on Monday 24th July refused the money on the basis that Northern Irish and Scottish notes could be fake. I suggested she run the note under a scanner, she did not. The staff argued defiantly that it was the SNOG policy to refuse these notes and made us pay with bank card. Our money was not questioned at any other venue, shop or restaurant in our 3 day trip to London. I would urge all Northern Irish and Scottish customers to be aware of SNOG's biased and ignorant policy. We will not be eating these delicious treats again on our future trips. read more
