Let's start by saying, "Could've been A LOT better." However, the sweet kids they had working the…read moredays I went to the food truck lend the business to the rating. They were helpful with their suggestions and very friendly. I think the idea is really good. The food truck situated itself on the cusp of Tigerland, appealing to the droves of college students who needed something to "soak up the liquids." I didn't catch the location there, and honestly, I forgot where exactly I caught it the first time. The second time was over near the old Caiterie location, for those of you who know that throwback. I think I paid some where around $8-9 dollars for the Mac and Cheezy the first time I went. For that, it was....okay enough. There was not a huge flavor to it, and bread was a bit too soggy. I had to find a fork and knife to eat it. The next time, I got just a basic type of grilled cheese. I can't remember the price but it was pretty much "okay." I can see why the college kids will eat it up, especially if maybe using a method of payment from an allowance or "free money" they didn't earn. Otherwise, I would recommend just going to their dorm or apartment and making something themselves. Since my last visit, they have opened a brick and mortar spot in the old Soulshine location by LSU. That's probably a good idea so they can grow. Now, I did see on their social media for the Masters a year or so back, they had a pimento cheese special - selling pimento cheese sandwiches, as is a staple of the golf tournament. Great idea right? Ethically, no, as the sandwiches were handmade at another small business, purchased by The Big Cheezy, and then up-charged and sold with no nod to the business who made them. That's not how you do small business, guys. That's shady and dishonest, and it will come back to bite you 10 fold in some way. I have no doubt that the small bakery that made the sandwiches would have partnered with your business as she likes to support others, and wants local businesses to succeed. So, I'm sure they will continue to feed the droves of kids by campus who need some buttery bread to soak up their Saturday nights, but I will pass.

Great food, even better staff! So thankful they have a brick and mortar now and not just a food…read moretruck #growth
