In the two years that I've been gone, they've laid a roundabout in the driveway as to avoid the line backing into Cedarcrest like it used to. But Houston has gotten me spoiled with the never-ending litany of flavors offered at the stands out there; there are 'new flavors' that at Rainbow Delites that I've already had at least once in Texas. Either way, my small Mardi Gras King Cake (purple) made my taste buds happy... ...though it is high time that they start up a rewards program--say, a punch card where the tenth punch is free...in addition to promotions... They have special snowballs made with bluebell ice cream as well. You can also bring Chloe's to you, as they are mobile being in a cute trailer. You can hire them to cater your events for a cool treat. For the next couple of Fridays they are offering a free event called food truck Friday which I attended for the first time tonight and it was so nice! They had a free bounce house for the kids, a lady making balloon animals for tips, and for fifty cents you could practice your karate by breaking a board. They also had live music so bring your lawn chair and come hungry because they also bring in food trucks! It's a good time for families in Zachary.
