Rating: 9/10 Whew,…read moreI'm going to be hella productive today cause of this Vietnamese coffee! I tried the iced match one and baybeeee it is strong. Good flavor and the matcha is light.

If you know me, you know I'm ALWAYS open to try something NEW!!!…read more And Bambu fit the bill for THE NEW. Stopped in because I saw the sign high up in the air, way to go advertising team. Walking in I was greeted with fresh smells & warm smiles. This was a new place for me, so of course, I am taking in all the sights, from the GET CHE MIND RIGHT backdrop, to the wall menus, to the vending machines & all the other signage that provide helpful suggestions. I was shocked to learn of drinks made with kidney beans was on the menu. The kidney beans are said to be sweet. I promised to try it, as it's quite hard to fathom kidney beans would be sweet. That will be my drink of choice next time. But this time, I tried a more fruity drink and It was quite pleasing to me. There was ice cream at the very top and the cashier suggested that I hurry and eat that before it melted I did what she said, and I had two treats in one drink. The ice cream and then the gummy's at the very bottom. It was like eating gummy bears or gummy worms with a dessert drink. Every mouthful was chewy and flavorful. To be noted, there are non-dairy options as well. Don't get scared. So many items to choose from, dessert drinks & banh-mi sandwiches, mango this, kidney beans that... with so many items on the menu that just means I have to return and try more of the concoctions. Shared parking lot. But it doesn't look like most people come and stay alone while. Although there are tables inside where you can sit and maybe do some computer work or read a book the average Joe picks up their drink and goes their way.

Sweet people serving sweet treats. Found this place and took my little person. She wanted a pink…read moreand blue snowball which ended up being blue raspberry and a pink flavor that I forgot. lol I chose the coco lime that included lime, coconut milk, condensed milk and a lime wedge. I think she mentioned something else but I don't remember the extra either. What I do remember is it was really good. My go to snowball anywhere is usually green apple but I'm glad I tried this one. I'd get it again. I noticed something about most of the snowball places around...they all use the snow wizard ice machine. But the crazy thing is, all of their ice isn't the same. This place figured ice out!! SO SOFT! Only downside and it's not their fault, it's in a rather busy strip so if you can't find parking out front...Beware McDonald's parking across the street. They tow as if they need all those parking spaces...I don't think I've ever seen a full McDonald's parking lot in life. Lol Anyway, 10/10 and cool points for entertaining my little chatterbox baby. I'll be back to try the Matcha!!

Rating: 9.5/10 I'm…read moreso glad Metairie has a great drink spot. My 2 times here have been so great! From the cute aesthetic to the amazing owner and staff, this place deserves wayyyy more hype. I love matcha and I've found a lot of places' matcha are too thin or not flavored enough. The matchas I've had at Nectar+Ice (banana bread & baklava) are so creamy and delicious! They also have snoballs, lattes and affogato so everyone can enjoy them. The owner was very helpful and also let me sample the weekly soft serve special which was also yummy. The only reason it's not a perfect 10 is the small space (can get a bit crowded during a rush) and its hours are only from Wed-Sat.

I decided to try the miso udon carbonara as well since they announced it as a regular menu item. It's so buttery and flavorful, and the udon noodles are perfect. I got the spam musubi just because I hadn't had one in some years, and it was really good. Nostalgia won this time! I'll be back for other sandos and more treats! The menu has so many options!

Pretty legit and great place for the desserts! The customer service honestly varies from great to…read moremeh. The gentleman that was making our drinks didn't really seem like he wanted to be there and wasn't as friendly as the others. We love Asian inspired flavors like pandan and ube and this place had it all! There were so many innovative and unique ice cream flavors like Vietnamese coffee, lychee, pandan coconut, etc. It was a little overwhelming at first because there was just so many desserts and drinks to choose from! They also had cafe drinks and we ordered a few to try! I had the banana pudding matcha latte and it's honestly one of the better matcha lattes I've had. There were scoops of banana pudding in the matcha both on the bottom and top. Each sip had that delicious banana flavor (not artificial) along with the matcha. It wasn't too sweet and banana goes extremely well with the matcha. My SIL had the lavender matcha latte and she enjoyed it as well. Lavender can overpower alot of flavors if not done right and they did it right here! The flavors were balanced well without it being too floral. My husband had the latte with pandan cream foam and what he loved about it was that he can taste the pandan flavor. Pandan is a very light and delicate flavor so it can get a bit muddled with other flavors. I tried it and the pandan's flavor was bold and bright. Mixed with the espresso and milk and it was creamy and delicious. We also got three cookies to try: Vietnamese coffee, ube, and pandan coconut. The cookies were about $5 a pop but they were so worth it! They were all huge and jam stuffed with either chocolate chips, coconut, or white chocolate chips! I am literally still dreaming about the cookies! My favorite cookie was probably the pandan coconut one but the ube and Vietnamese coffee one were close. The Vietnamese coffee cookie was good but the flavor of the coffee could be stronger. I do appreciate how rich and decadent each cookie was and I will absolutely come back just for the cookies haha. They had a bunch of different and unique flavors too! We also got some ice cream to try. My husband had the pandan coconut and SIL got the cream cheese red velvet. They know how to make their ice cream right that's for sure. The flavors were like a punch to your face (in a good way) and we all agreed that they were both delicious. I'm knocking one star off because the service could be a little friendlier. Can't wait to come back and try more desserts off their menu (they had cakes, macarons, etc.).
