Yum! Cheap, fast and delicious. Cash only. I got cafe au lait with ice cream. I am glad I do not live close. I'd get diabetes.

We stopped by as it was super hot and wanted to cool off and this was a great stop! My husband got the tres leches and I got a strawberry kiwi with strawberry topping. We added some of my strawberry topping to the tres leches and it was sooo good. The small was plenty but we are also can't eat a lot of super sweet stuff. Guys working we're very nice and it was super quick and cheap for both of us to get the smallest one it was less than $5. Definitely suggest as there are a ton of different combinations you can make and it is a great way to cool off!

Amazingly delicious old fashion nectar cream!

The escapades of a snowball-a-holic's spouse continues. Last night, i was coerced into finding yet another new snowball stand to visit. It's a good thing that New Orleans is "chock full" of snowball stands, so this wasn't a difficult task. Having already been in Metairie, I decided to give Casey's Snowballs a chance. They have been located on West Esplanade Ave near Clearview for several years now and have a pretty good reputation. You don't need a lot of real estate to have a great snowball stand and Casey's looks like your run of the mill stand from the outside. However, don't let their everyday appearance fool you. The old fashioned nectar cream tasted like the sweetest...................I'll just stop there and say it was super sweet. LOL However, it didn't leave you thirsty like some heavy syrup snowballs do. I can not even imagine what a treat thhis would have been if we opted to add condensed milk on top. (Maybe next time, maybe tonight!) And the ice. Let me tell you, this is one of the smoother ices I've had in a long time. Not velvet smooth, but pretty darn close. Not sure when I'll be back as there are so many stands left to try. However, this place is "legit". If you like snowballs and live in Metairie, add this to your list of places to try.

My favorite Metairie spot since I was 10, good flavor selection, decent sugar free options too.

The staff were friendly, and the $9 croffle, which came out hot and fresh, was truly excellent and the highlight of the visit (a tip I got from another customer, not the staff). Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. I ordered the Shokupan (Japanese milk bread with ice cream and strawberries), which the menu clearly listed at $13. I was charged $15 on the receipt. When I brought this discrepancy to the associates, they explained that the price had been recently changed and the manager was "not good with technology," making them unable to correct the digital board. I explained that having a misleading price displayed at the point of sale is false advertisement and requested a simple $2 refund for the difference. The associates stated there was "nothing they could do" and suggested I speak to the owner. The owner came forward disgruntled. When I explained the situation, he did not apologize or attempt to de-escalate. Instead, he flatly stated there are no refunds, told me the price was $15, and tried to reprimand me for not accepting his verbal price correction after I had already been charged. He said it's not a big deal, prices change all the time, all this over two dollars, making me feel incredibly uncomfortable. The sheer lack of professionalism, transparency, and simple customer courtesy was staggering. The owner's refusal to honor the price they were actively advertising left a sour taste that no dessert could fix. To add insult to injury, the Shokupan itself was underwhelming and in my opinion, not worth the $15 I paid: just a big chunk of dry bread topped with a scoop of ice cream. While the croffle was a treat, I cannot in good conscience recommend giving business to an establishment whose owner is willing to cause a scene over a $2 error of his own making (although he eventually gave me the $2 refund) demonstrating a clear disregard for community and honest business practices.

This location is located in a lot with a few other restaurants and there is plenty of parking, however, it can be a bit cramped during peak rush hour though. The waffle cones are fantastic. When we arrived, I did not see Cold Stone and my friend said, "it's a similar concept". Ambiance: It's relatively small corner ice cream place in a busy shopping center. There is parking though. Service: Upon arriving, there was a long line so I was wondering what was taken so long when I counted at least four employees behind the counter. As I got closer to place my order, I notice that there are a group of teenage kids that know the kids behind the counter so there was a bunch of chit-chat. Didn't see manager or any type of management at all. We were a big party. A group of seven. We ordered three milkshakes with no whip cream and four small cups. When I received my order that was made in front of me, it was pretty much melted. I didn't think anything of it. My son received his cookies and cream with vanilla and Oreos milkshake. I noticed the lady put whip cream when I specifically requested "no whip cream on my shakes". I didn't want to deal with the hassle because I just wanted to get out. Too much chit-chatting behind the counter. No place to sit. We ate outside. Food: My ice cream was good but mine was melted. I liked the unlimited toppings. That's a nice touch. Health violation: My son that had the shake with whip cream fell ill just hours that night. We said he had a pain in his stomach. I told him to lay down while we get to our hotel. The next morning, he was hunched over on the bed complaining of stomach pain and didn't want to eat anything. I told him to eat breakfast at least and he just had cereal. After an hour after breakfast, he threw up. My son definitely got food poisoning and I believe it was from the whip cream. He was the only one in our party that had whip cream. My son didn't eat that day at all. Fell better the following morning. Very disappointing experience for us.

It was just one scoop of disappointment after another. First of all, the "black and gold" flavor that one of us was so excited to have again had freezer burn on it and the chicory flavor was way less pronounced; their king cake flavor was essentially just birthday cake with Mardi Gras-themed sprinkles in it. The other one of us ordered "sweater weather" and it basically tasted like you were mainlining nutmeg. Too intense! And the creole cream cheese just tasted like plain cream cheese--and not in a good way! Our daughter was happy with her cotton candy (blegh) cone. We would not exactly describe portions as generous. Also, it should be mentioned that it was around 50 degrees outside and they had the A/C on full blast in there. Yes, we understand you don't want to pump the heat up and melt the ice cream, but we were shivering. Very unpleasant! What a bummer because we had the fondest memories of Creole Creamery and now it's quite soured. Maybe we need to go back to the Garden District location on another trip, but three stars for now.

This place has both bougie coffee and they sell bougie snoballs. They have so many options for coffee and snoballs, I love it! You can add condensed milk to your coffee, there are so many flavors including nectar and Dubai lattes, and don't get me started on the affogato options.
