This was a good pizza after a long time. We had the classic Margherita, the sauce was great and I loved the mozzarella. Surely recommend if you want to have some thin crispy pizza. read more

Pretty good American style pizza: Good dough, tasty and mild pizza sauce, and fresh indigrent, although it is still pretty far from Italian pizza. I am a big fan of the latter, so sorry for the one star reduction. read more

The pizza is good, price is fair for the quality and the amount you get. The staff seemed uncoordinated, I ordered breadsticks but apparently ran out and no one on staff knew. I had to wait 15 minutes for "make-shift" breadsticks which was just another pizza with cheese...? The marinara sauce they gave me was also cold and did not taste good.. read more

I am not one to be a pizza fan, however I love Snap!! The idea of having a build your own pizza with some gourmet ingredients is great! The Farmer's Market is always my go to..The quality is always good as well as the service. read more

This place is great for a State College place. It is a nice breath of fresh air compared to all the other greasy, large portion places of center county. It's healthy and there are plenty of options to choose from. Don't go if you're in a rush because there is always a very long line and each pizza takes a little bit, understandably. It's a little gimmicky with the rustic interior and "grain bowls"(they're just salad), but the friendly service out ways it. If I'm ever looking for another healthy treaty, I will be heading back to Snap! read more

This place is very good...so many options to put on a pizza. I already know that every time I go there, I'll always end up getting something different. The sweet italian sausage was probably my favorite thing I got on my pizza; loads of flavor! The decor inside the restaurant made me feel cozy and comfortable and I love that about any restaurant. The staff were super friendly, and it is just an overall great vibe! read more

Great pizza but employees always seem stressed or confused. Ingredients are good and fresh and they have sooo many options.

A couple of weeks ago we were visiting Penn State and walked past this place around lunch time. The pizza the other patrons were eating looked really good so we decided to stop in. I'm always looking for good pizza. We weren't super hungry so we just ordered two Margherita's for the four of us. What a mistake! It was SO good! I was so sad to be stuffed after eating my share. Wanted to order one of everything! Perfectly crispy but not overcooked crust. The olive oil topping at the end gave a great boost of flavor. All the ingredients seemed fresh and it all made for a beautiful looking and tasting pizza. Simple and inexpensive spot but with a nice view onto the main strip. Super glad to learn there are multiple locations. Service was great and the place was very clean with fresh decor. The price was definitely worth it for the value of what we received. I've been to other brick oven or coal fired type pizza places that are only half as good but priced much higher. If we lived in the area we would definitely be regulars! read more

Really tasty!!! We got the Margherita & Kenneth Square pizzas, as well as the bread sticks. I definitely suggest getting red sauce with the breadsticks- their red sauce is really tasty. Overall really good, and fair priced. I hope this place sticks around for sure. read more

I expected something similar to other make-your-own pizza joints but what I got was much better! I recommend the margherita pizza. Their breadsticks are also amazing! read more

Great pizzas! I used to not like this place because I wasn't ordering the right pizza for me... this was a great pizza read more

Snap Custom Pizza - Pizza Near Me - State College, Pennsylvania

Snap pizza is in my top favorite places to go. There is nothing else like this place. Being able to customize your pizza is fun and refreshing. You can't get a lot of the ingredients they have like at other pizza places. I absolutely fell in love with this place and continue to go every month. It's rare, but sometimes you get some people who work on your pizza a little sloppily because they are ALWAYS busy, but the pizza is still delicious. If you don't like the taste of what you made, that's on you. I tend to move away from the premade ones because they're pretty basic to me, but they will always use premium ingredients. read more

I think the pizza from SNAP is great, as I've visited a location in my hometown as well and loved it. When the store isn't busy, this place is great. However, I wouldn't advice coming here anytime between 6-8. It's wildly busy and the store really doesn't seem prepared to handle so many people. I waited 20 minutes in line before even getting to order the pizza, and then another 10-15 once ordering. So frustrating to watch my pizza sit and get cold while those who ordered after me were served first. In fairness to the employees who were working, they really were doing their best, but the space behind the counter isn't enough for the process to move quickly, and clearly more people needed to be working. Maybe this store just needs to work out some kinks since it's a new location, but I would expect more from a chain that already knows what it's doing. :/ read more

We visited my brother who lives in the State college area. We wanted Pizza and didn't want to wait a long time because we had the kids. We thought we would try something different. Snap was a nice surprise. They have menu options for Gluten free/Dairy free and vegetarian options. My wife and I split a custom build your own pizza on a gluten free crust that was much larger than most gluten free crusts. They also have a cauliflower crust option but it had cheese in it so my wife couldn't eat it. This pizza was large enough for the both of us to feel full. If you've been to a Blaze pizza or another fast food pizza restaurant that have been popping up all over then think of that when you enter snap. It's fun to watch them custom make your pizza and then 5 minutes later it's ready. My only negative is and maybe this is me being a pizza snob but I like my pizza cooked in a brick oven instead of a conveyer belt. We will definitely try Snap again when in the area. read more

Came here for the first time. The pizza was delicious and love how fast it was. We got the fig goat cheese pizza and it was sooooo good. There were other pizzas that looked so good too. Need to try em again. My only gripe is they need more seating. There were literally zero seats open and several of us were waiting for a place to sit. A table ended up opening but there were no chairs. So we stood at a table. Chairs would have been nice :) but all in all we will be back... impressed by the pizzas! read more

Shitty business. Sorry, but when you have 0 dishwashers, expect everyone to be on the line, have 0 people wash in ng dishes through the day, then pay your employees better, or buy a dishwasher read more

RUDE!!! I ordered a pizza online and was told it would be ready by a certain time. I got there and it was never even made. They never told me it was never made and expected me to wait an extra 20 minutes for it without even telling me. Finally I asked when it would be ready and I was told then that they forgot to make it. I was disrespected by multiple employees. My pizza was finally ready and served to me on a plate when I order it to go online and my other pizza was to go. He then proceeded to improperly make my pizza and refuse to give me the correct toppings and mocked and embarrassed me in front of full restaurant. He refused to give me parmesan and was extremely disrespectful. Absolutely appalled by the service. read more

Great pizza, awesome variety with local ingredients, and best of all really friendly staff!!! The manager, Josh is super great!

The pizza is delicious, I'll give them that. We stopped by tonight and there were only 5 people in line ahead of us, which seemed great since we only had 25 minutes to get dinner between meetings. Things were looking great. Placed our order, saw it made, and then waited. And waited. It turns out an 8 pizza take out order went into the oven before ours. I had to leave the store before our pizza was even out of the oven. Extremely disappointed with their service to in-restaurant patrons. read more

This place is a disaster. It took my friend 45 minutes to get his pizza. An employee quit while we were waiting. The make you pay before you even get your pizza so we had to wait the whole 45 minutes to get the pizza. When we asked the employee where his pizza was he yelled its coming man! While still tending to customers in line who have not been waiting nearly as long. This place is a disaster. read more

so good i got a custom pizza that's was a bbq chicken mozzarella pizza so amazing exactly what i wanted

So yummy! Always nice and not rude considering how busy the restaurant always is. Bianca verde on cauliflower crust is the best!

Great food! Difficult to hear the staff when they ask questions when ordering custom so it can be slightly overwhelming. Very impressed by the efficiency and price. Drinks are all very organic/healthy so beware it is not your average Pepsi/coke products! Very delicious and modern, great for a college town and for a healthy and filling meal. read more

I came here with my friend i met on BumbleBFF and we loved it! We were able to talk and hangout in a lively environment right downtown. The pizza was the best we have had in State College. I ordered mine on cauliflower crust, which I have never had before and really like it. We were able to bond over food and friendship! read more

I enjoy Snap Pizza. Food is always good. Their app is easy to navigate. They do good specials from time to time... Time is the problem. On two different occasions I've placed an order via the app, the app and an email says your order will be ready at this time. I give it the time and try to usually get there a minute or two later than the email states. On two occasions I've gotten there and my pizza hasn't even been made. The first time the place was crowded. Josh (I believe he's a manager) apologized and said if I was upset leave a Yelp review, but they got swamped and online orders took a back seat. That's fine. I didn't leave a review that day because it's understandable. Today I arrived at the time the app/email said my order would be ready (15-20 minutes) there was one person waiting. Other than that the only people there were the 3 ladies working and myself. They got his order to him and when I stated I had an online pick up, they had not even started making my order. Another customer showed up after me and same story. We had to wait for our orders to be made, but a family walked in and placed their order, and probably got their order within 5-10 minutes not 30-40 minutes like we did because we did an online order. Today all we got was an "I'm sorry", no explanation nothing. If the online order was to be convenient to people I don't understand why they get bumped when there are face to face customers. Figure it out. Losing my business won't hurt the place. Losing two people's business won't hurt the place. But I seriously doubt only two of us have had this happen, will be a matter of time before enough get fed up and go somewhere else. read more

The service was solid, friendly staff, and the presentation was amazing. I got the Mexican pizza. Mozzarella bread, and margherita and all were more than good! read more

While the pizza is great, the customer service is not. Today I ordered pizza to go. When they called my name I said to go and asked for them to put it in a box. The staff refused and pointed to the boxes on the wall. I then said something to cashier and same answer - even though I have done the same thing since the place opened and have never been told to do it yourself. They blamed it on the manager. First of all, I am a paying customer and I asked. It would have taken a few seconds for them to do this. Second, I do not work at Snap and shouldn't have to do their work. Third, because I don't work there, I am not dressed as a food service worker - I don't want to take the chance of getting the pizza on me. And, most importantly, I am a little older and not the most steady. So, Manager, you should train your staff to just do what the customers ask. I am sure that many young people will just do it themselves. But, when an older customer - who by the way has money to spend more often - asks for staff to do something that literally will only take a few seconds more, they should just do it. Instead of letting the rest of the customers hearing their not so customer friendly remarks that lasted longer than the time it would have taken for them to just provide excellent customer service! read more

Today was my first (and last) time at Snap Custom Pizza. It is not that my pizza wasn't good. It was actually quite tasty (once I actually got it). What this place is seriously lacking is order and flow. I am shocked that a restaurant with seven other locations would be so poorly organized and have such a faulty system in place. Once you find where to place the order and place your order, you are given no other instruction on what to do. Do you wait at the counter? Do you sit down? Do you pay? I was not the only one confused about what was going on. I sat down and waited for my name to be called. What I assume they mean by calling your name (I'm not sure why they even bother ask) is that they are going to scream the name of the pizza (or just ingredients on the pizza) over the blaring music and people are going to try to hear what was said and hope they are picking up the right pizza. In all of this chaos, I suppose someone took my pizza. At one point I asked if my pizza was ready and was told it was coming out. I waited for a while until people who I had seen come in way after me were getting their pizzas and I knew something was wrong. My name was never called. They did call my pizza name at one point (Sweet and Slow) and a gentleman picked it up, so I assumed another would be out. Well that was not the case. I had to wait for another one to be made. The employees were apologetic and offered me a free fountain beverage (I had already purchased one and didn't need another). Don't get me started on the beverage fountain location, which is in the corner of the store near where the line forms to order, so you have to fight your way through the crowd of people gawking at the menu in order to fill your beverage cup or get a napkin. I guess I should have known it would be slow when I ordered the Sweet and Slow. My friends finished their food before I even got mine and had to wait while mine cooled enough for me to eat it in front of them. Snap needs to seriously rethink the system of ordering and delivery of food in the restaurant so that other patrons don't have a similar experience. I cannot imagine what a mess this place would have been on a very busy night. I don't plan on going back, even though my friends and I agreed the food was good. read more
