SCAM ALERT. Dishonest business. I called to get a price to cut a key from code. I was told it would be fifteen dollars. I told them exactly what it was for, just a standard key nothing special. After driving across town to get said key, I was told by the owner that the price was 135.00 dollars. They have the right to charge what they want but to quote me a price over the phone and then change it when I get there is horrible business practices. DISHONEST company. I needed 3 bolt locks replaced and received a quote for $150. $75 for the travel and $25 for each lock. somehow I ended up paying $250 to replace 3 locks. Unreliable, unprofessional and unresponsive. Waited over 4 hours yesterday for help with my flat tire. Time estimate kept getting charged but only knew that because I called for updates when they didn't show up. Found a way to work. Called this morning to reschedule and phone rep got smart and said call your insurance company. A received a call from someone who was going to fix my tire and said that he was 30 minutes away. I asked for a call so that I can come outside he said okay. I got a call from my insurance company stating that they received a phone call stating they could not find my car. I called the company and asked if they had a corporate email address or mailing address. They said No and disconnected the call. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND 2/10 SERVICE... the only good thing is they arrive quick. Had a shoot bolt door system replaced since door jammed up. They did a terrible job. The door handle is loose, the screw was burnt in and door wont shut properly. My flooring was damaged, the specially crafted door which is very expensive was worked on with a grinder to open and damaged extensively, the weather seals on the 2nd door was damaged due to improper handling of equipment. The manager does not provide safety equipment to the employees so it is a liability to the customer. The manager by the name of Gil is very disrespectful, unprofessional and should be replaced. When contacted about the damage, first thing mentioned is you were advised this would happen. There is nothing that they mentioned to me that this would happen. I would have went with a master locksmith. Very bad experience. I wanted to support a local business. I temper my review here by stating that everyone makes mistakes and no one's perfect. However-they were unable to properly install a new lock set on front door. Unnecessary drilling into my oak door. Key does not easily turn. Having another locksmith out to repair. They did offer to perform additional work- but I did not want to have further unnecessary tinkering with lock sets. To all reading this review- I am hopeful that the owner takes accountability for this experience and not create excuses. Left greasy finger prints all over my doors. Also attempted to have them replace a lock set on another door- charged me $75 for a $20 lock set. Did not even come close to match existing. Looked like a left over they had in the van. They did remove and refunded- but didn't bother reinstalling original- leaving a door with no knob. (I had a new one installed by different locksmith today). Left the condition of my locks much worse than when they started. I am a reasonable person - and was very hesitant to leave a negative review- but feel like this type of service needs to be reported. I asked the armed guard at the internet gambling location nextdoor if he was always this surely and he laughed and said at least you are white. So, racist, angry crook who "somehow " disabled the lock and unlock functions of my original key. The identical key blank is available retail on line for under $50. I was locked out of my car, the tec was late. After he was done I saw damage to my car door. After following his back to the shop the owner looked at it said it was like that when the tec started and just keep telling me they didn't do it. He started shouting at me and finally just walked away in the middle of a sentence. After getting in my car he came running out with the police on the line yelling "you didn't pay, I'm calling the cops".
