I purchased a turtle and a Tortoise here in person, since they are close to me, in the same area. my tortoise was purchased on Nov 13, today is Nov 27, (Thanksgiving) and she don't make it, she was sold to me as a Russian Tortoise, they don't know the sex or age, but she was two or 20 years old, who knows the sex was easy to see by the vet. He was a male unknown age, Hermann's tortoise, and was inside of a cardboard box in the back of the store, a quiet and friendly tortoise, with a closed eye, but he open the eye two days after purchase, giving him daily baths as the vet recommended me. I don't want to contact them, but let me tell you, that I will went to the extent of the law to help these poor reptiles you are selling without knowing the age, sex, species, or care, because you don't care about them. upon come in to my house the tortoise was almost dehydrated, and I given her water, a daily bath as a vet recommended, she don't make it, and don't deserve to die. I named her Mishka. I contacted PETA, and waiting for a response. The other Turtle is better, is an African side neck, almost die on me twice, I purchased her on October, but she is resilient, I hope she will make it, and is barely two inches length. read more

Went in today 11-08-202 @ around 2:30 trying to buy a male leopard gecko with my girl and the guy at the front was awful with a straight bad attitude you can tel that he didn't wanna be there. I proceeded to tell him that I wanted to see all the male leopard geckos, just to see which one I liked the most, you can tell he was aggravated by my question and wasn't being helpful at all. I bought two Great Plains toads on the 3rd of Oct online! On snakes at sunset website. I read many sketchy reviews and thought why not? I placed my order and they shipped it Wednesday Oct 13th to have it arrive Thursday Oct 14th at fedex. And to my surprise when I arrived home,and opened the package there was ONLY ONE HEATING PAD FOR TWO GREAT PLAINS TOADS! ONE! ONE! For Two Great Plains toad.... Wow and In their containers that they were in were only 4 tiny breathing holes.... 4?!?!?! For a great point toad. And the box didn't contain any holes whatsoever but one heating pad, shipped from Miami to California. What a $#*!ing joke! I placed an order of three turtles from these guys- an albino red ear slider, a pink belly side neck turtle, and lastly a spotted turtle. I got charged immediately, but never sent a confirmation email. I placed the order on Thursday11/19/2020 and sent them a message Monday 11/23/2020 asking what happened to my order. Never got a reply, so today Tuesday, 11/24/2020 I texted the number they advertise animals with. They said they had sent me an email that they didn't have the spotted turtles in stock at the moment (unlike what the website stated) and would ship out next week. Firstly, I received no such email. I checked every folder including spam, and there was none. I told them I wouldn't be able to receive them next week (I'm a delivery driver and work an average of 50-60 hours a week) and that I'd need to cancel. They said sure, but it would be a $10 cancellation fee. Give you $10 because you were incompetent and couldn't update your website, or actually send me an email? According to your website anything placed before 2 will be shipped out same day, anything after the next. Not a week or two later. I shouldn't have to pay the price for YOUR mistake. read more

I was looking for a Red Belly Cooter and found their website online as non of the stores on my area had any. I live in Las Vegas so i am in Pacific Time Zone. I finally made my order on Wednesday as the first picture shows so of course its after shipping time Eastern Time Zone. Thursday comes and i never get a shipping notification so i know if it didn't ship out Thursday i would have to wait until Monday since for next day shipping they dont ship out Fri-Sun. Still i waited all day for the email notification that never came. Friday comes and i call them just to make sure everything is good. I have attached pictures from Maps showing the phone number which is the same number on my call log. I speak to Quinn who tells me he will look into it and call me back but that never happened. I call again Monday and the same thing i speak with Quinn and he tells me he will call me back which again as expected did not happen. I call again only to find out they were out of the Red Belly Cooters i bought from their website and they only had Yellow Bellies and the Red Belly they had was bigger/older. I request to cancel my over which i have yet to get any notification of so i have to keep track of that. If they are out of an animal that was ordered online i dont feel it should be the customer's responsibility to call and get on their backs to find out days later of the no stock. I think the majority of people who are complaining about the size of the snake or saying they're too young to be shipped are not fit enough to be reptile owners. I ordered an albino cornsnake online around 1:30-2:00 am on June 14, 2020 (early Sunday morning). They charge overnight shipping, which almost costs as much as the snake. After I placed my order, I realized I wouldn't be home on Monday. I sent as text, as instructed on their website, to see if they could hold off on shipping the snake until Tuesday so that it would arrive Wednesday morning. I was told that it wouldn't be a problem and to send a message on the website, which I did. On the 17th, I sent another message to see if it had shipped because I received a tracking number but it didn't have any information on it. They replied on the 18th that they had issues with FedEx and the snake had not shipped yet. I called on the 19th and left a message with no return phone call. I called again on the 22nd and was finally able to speak to someone. Our snake arrived on June 23, almost a week & a half after I ordered it. I understand delays, and I understand that allowances need to be made for live animals. What I don't understand is charging for overnight shipping and printing a shipping label a week before you ship an item. I am also disappointed in the fact that despite their website stating "We usually do not have delays but on occasion we do for a plethora of reasons since we are dealing with live animals. Such as ex: we cannot ship recently fed snakes and certain lizards because they may vomit in shipping and that is not good, so we may hold your package till the animal digests and then ship. We will notify you of something like this, or any delay to ensure you are aware, and that someone will be there to sign for package before shipping so that everyone and thing is aware and on an agreed upon schedule", they made no attempt to reach out to me to inform me why there was a delay. I had to initiate contact each time. They also state that someone must be present to sign for the package, but no signature was required when my snake was delivered. All of that being said, my snake finally arrived and is beautiful, healthy, and settling in nicely. I just think their customer service could be better. If they are going to state all of these things on their website, they should abide by them. read more
