I visited Robbie's Feed & Supply intending to purchase chicks, and what should have been a simple visit turned into one of the most unnecessarily hostile and poorly managed customer experiences I've had. When we arrived, we went to the register to ask where the chicks were. We were the only customers in the store at the time, while all three employees were on phone calls. A gentleman walked in after us and stood to the side. When one employee got off the phone and asked "who's next," we stepped forward--only to be told we were not next and that there was a "line." There was no visible line, no clear signage, and we had been standing directly in front of the register the entire time. This is not a large store--it's a small space where basic awareness should make the order obvious. The man who arrived after us then attempted to move ahead, and I had to clarify that we had been waiting. Instead of handling it professionally, the employee responded dismissively. When I finally asked where the chicks were, I was told "outside," with no effort to assist further. Outside, no one initially helped us. Eventually, a young employee approached and was polite, helpful, and allowed us to select a chick ourselves. As first-time customers in this type of setting, we relied on the guidance we were given. Then an older employee, identified as "Tete," approached in an aggressive and confrontational manner, raising her voice at both the employee and myself. She escalated the situation unnecessarily and even placed her hands on my shoulder, which is completely inappropriate. She also began speaking to me in broken Spanish despite me speaking English the entire time, which felt like an unfounded assumption. If there are rules about not touching the chicks, that needs to be clearly communicated and consistently enforced--not handled through public confrontation. What made this worse is that the employee assisting me--and even a supervisor--appeared confused by her reaction, stating that this was how they normally handle things. That inconsistency reflects a clear lack of training and management oversight. I also couldn't ignore the condition of many of the chicks, with a noticeable number appearing to have pasty vent issues, which raises concerns about their care. I ultimately chose not to make a purchase. I will not spend money in a place where customers are treated this way. This was not a product issue--it was a failure in professionalism, training, and management. If you're considering a feed store, I would strongly recommend looking in Broward instead. The difference in atmosphere and customer service is worth the drive. read more

We have been going there for many years and never had a bad experience..... we miss Mr Robbie he was the best!

It hurts me to say that without Robbie, this store is just not the same. So many examples. The latest being a delivery of a $27 feed bag, with several holes. Some covered up with Duct Tape and another just open, feed falling out. I would not feed my family anything I buy from a Grocery store, if I realize it has a compromised integrity. In the garbage. Why would I feed that to my animals. It's not the first time either. I have gone as far as letting them know I will not accept COMPROMISED feed bags. But they deliver them tattered and torn anyway. Without Robbie, they just DON'T CARE. At least Nutrena told me there is a relatively new TRACTOR SUPPLY in Pembroke Pines, and they deliver to Miami. Yay. It's sad when a Monopoly of sorts leads to terrible terrible customer service. Over and over again. Jamie even LAUGHS at you when you try to bring up a mishap. He laughs at his decade long customer. The staff is amazing, Mr. Robbie, may he Rest In Peace, was a true gentleman and an example of what The Redland has to offer. A man for his community. Very good selection of items for horse people, digs and farm animals at a reasonable price. Knocked down two stars for customer service and inside store cleanliness. The lady at the counter was busy doing her nails when I walked up and she gave me the look like why am I interupting her. A lot of the merchandise was covered in dust. When employees have enough time to do nails on the job, they can definitely find enough time to dust. Definitely worth visiting if you have farm animals or rabbits. read more

Wow, I've been coming here for years and can't believe I have not reviewed Robbie's. They are good, honest people who offer a huge variety of excellent brands and have great prices. I drive down several times a year to purchase bundles on their Loyall Brand Lamb and Rice dog food. I always stop for some really good tamales at the place with the painted trees right before you get there. They also have unique cowboy/girl t-shirts and accessories. Expect to find anything you need for cats, dogs, horses, chickens and more. Best of all they have plenty of staff on hand to carry the heavy items to my car. It's a fun place to check out and sure beats the chain stores. read more

After posting this review, someone from this place, and employee probably, sent me a note explaining that I should have done my research. Then what do I need you for? I guess he was explaining to me how I was wrong; I keep hearing that the customer is always right, but apparently that doesn't apply at this place. So I did do my research and I buy my feed at another place nearby with good customer service. Good thing to keep in mind if you shop here know that the customer is always wrong! I went back to purchase some feed as a last resort one day; now they have rats eating holes in the feed bags! Disgusting!!! read more
