I've been bringing my dog to this salon for about 5 years, and unfortunately the experience has gone downhill since the ownership/management changed in 2025. What used to be a reliable and professional place now feels completely careless and unprofessional. Over the past 6 months I've dealt with mixed-up appointments, an unfriendly attitude from the girl at the front desk, and multiple times getting my dog back with wet hair, knots still in his coat, and even small cuts around his ear. It's been disappointing to see the decline, but today's experience was the final straw. This morning I dropped my dog off at 8:20am for a BATH ONLY. I was told it would take about 3 hours, so I expected him to be ready around 11:20am. At 1pm I called to check in and was told they had fallen behind but he was on the table and they were "blow drying him now" and he'd be ready in about an hour (around 2pm). By 3pm I still hadn't heard anything, so I decided to just go there because there's no reason a blow dry should take two hours. When I arrived, the woman at the front desk had a bad attitude and immediately asked why I was there since no one had called me. She went to "check on him," but from where I was standing I could clearly see my dog sitting in a cage with his hair still half wet and no one working on him at all. Not only was I lied to earlier when they said they were working on him, but my dog had been sitting in a cage with wet hair for hours. Anyone who cares about dogs knows that leaving them like that can lead to ear infections and other issues. The best explanation I was given was that the person blow-drying him was "new," which does not excuse the lack of honesty, the poor communication, or the way my dog was handled. It's honestly sad because I supported this business for 5 years, but the service and professionalism have clearly deteriorated. I won't be bringing my dog back, and unfortunately, I can't recommend this place to anyone. If you value honesty, communication, and proper care for your pet, this is no longer the place it used to be. read more

ZERO STARS -- PLEASE DON'T BRING YOUR DOG HERE. I had the worst experience ever with this grooming salon, especially concerning my 6-year-old Goldendoodle. The day after her bath, she began limping and crying from her back paw. I checked her and found a cut on her skin, and within hours her paw became swollen and infected. I rushed her to the vet, and to date I've spent over $1,000 on treatment. Her nails were trimmed extremely short and dangerously narrow--so much so that the vet immediately asked, "Who did this??" He said whoever groomed her clearly did not know what they were doing. She ended up with a severe fungal infection, most likely from unsterilized tools used to trim or file her nails. Her paw became terribly swollen. She had to get an injection, antibiotics, antifungal shampoo, creams--you name it. She has been in pain for days, barely active, and it's taken a full week just to see slight improvement. Watching her suffer has been heartbreaking. What made the situation even worse is the lack of responsibility. I called the salon to explain everything, and was told the owner "wasn't available" but would call me back. That call never came. Not then, and not even after the severity of what I reported. For a business owner, that is unacceptable. And it's not just this visit. I brought both of my dogs--my Goldendoodle and my Labradoodle--and neither had their ears cleaned, their teeth brushed, or their anal glands done, even though these services were included. A month ago at a previous grooming appointment, my dogs' ears were also not cleaned and one of them didn't even have her nails buffed, which I mentioned to them at the time. To top off the chaos, when I arrived to pick up my dog, they almost handed me someone else's dog first. That alone tells you how disorganized they are. The staff told me they take in "around 50 dogs a day" (which is shocking) and tried to excuse the situation by saying the dog before mine "could have been sick." Completely unprofessional responses from start to finish. And once again--the owner NEVER called me back. For the price they charge, you expect safety, cleanliness, and trained professionals. Instead, my dog suffered a painful infection that could have been prevented with basic hygiene and proper grooming skills. If the owner truly cared, they would refund the bath and take responsibility for the vet bills caused by their negligence. Pet owners deserve better--and so do our pets. i'm not gonna lie the place was friendly. Everyone was nice but when it came down to the instructions that I gave them on how I wanted the dog, the instructions were completely ignored. I got back to the dogs like if they weren't really groomed. , we told them not to mess with the face, and when I got my dog back, their face was completely chopped when I mean, chopped it was not cut properly, and it looked like pieces were missing. I told not to touch their money pieces and now they're completely gone. I paid $187 for their money pieces to be gone and see no difference in them definitely not worth it. Definitely not going back again. They need to learn how to follow instructions especially because the dog belongs to me, not them if they were unsure they should've told me. I love the care and friendly/welcoming environment of this business. The front desk lady is always friendly and attentive, even on the phone. This grooming salon has always gone above and beyond to give me appointments to make sure she doesn't go in a cage and lets me wait in the waiting area so I can take her as soon as she is done. Only reason I did not give them a full 5 stars, is because my Pomsky most times comes back with all her undercoat still on her and even damp sometimes when she's not dropped off as early. Also if you do not ask them to trim their belly hairs they WILL NOT do it. So even if you aren't doing a hair cut, make sure to mention the belly/booty trim because it will not get done. I have been bringing my shi-Tzu here for 9 years. They are reasonably priced and I have never had an issue. I trust the stylist Amy , my dog has an eye injury so I asked Amy take care of her and explained all that she needed to have done or not done and she did exactly what I told her. The owners are always very polite, professional and great customer service. If you go be specify as to what type of shampoo to use specially if your pet has skin allergies, I always say to use hypoallergenic shampoos and not to put perfumes or bandanas on her. They have convenient hours, you can drop your pet off your pet as early as 8 am and pick up as late as 6:00 pm. FYI- They are closed on Mondays. read more

So I was going to take my dog to this groomer, since it was recommended by a family member. Called & made an appointment on Tuesday for Friday with a gentleman. When I called to take him & confirm I was advised by a man (don't know if it was same one) that they must have forgotten to put me in the records & they were fully booked but they had a cancellation for Saturday & this is his words "they can do me the favor" I was taken aback at those words. If they made a mistake it's not a favor that they are doing. I said it's not a favor if they made a mistake but he then said " what do you want me to do about it' and again he used the words. Update: Rafael P, who claims to be an extremely approachable owner never even reached out to me directly after my experience at his salon. Instead, he had the groomer call me and ask me why I left a review, but at no time did they ask me how they could correct the situation. I was not going to take my dog back after what she went through. In reference to Rafael, and his approachability, this is not the first time that I had a dissatisfaction with this establishment. Previously, both my dogs anal glands became infected after having them expressed at this location, and I contacted Rafael, who did not even entertain my call. Instead, he claimed that there is no proof the dogs contracted the infection at the location. Both were fine and went in at the same time, both ended up in the vet. Coincidence? Once again, nothing was offered to correct my experience, however, I still went back. I'm never bringing my pets here, and I recommend you stay away and save yourself the money you'll later be spending at the vet. read more

It's a really good place. My dog Lily came out looking so different (in a good way!) and smelling amazing + she was happy and for me as a owner that's a must. Their prices are really fair. Bath + hair cut + nail clipping = only 40! that's amazing!! I left 5 dollars tip but i wish i would have given more! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I took my puppy here the first time and my puppy came out great. My mom took my puppy in the second time and he was paired with a woman named Felica or something similar to that. The woman didn't speak much English and instead of calling my mother or myself to ask us exactly what we wanted for clarification, she shaved my puppy down. She cut his whiskers, his neck, his butt, his testicles, everything. After speaking with the man on the phone he advised me that the owner must sign a consent form when the dogs are shaved down because the dogs experience trauma. We never asked for him to be shaved down so we never received a consent form. My poor dog is depressed, not playing, not acting the same. And on top of that she didn't advise my mother on the procedures. She didn't even return my dog herself. Someone else returned my dog to my mom after the hair cut was over. In addition, my dog was so thirsty from not having any water at all for hours he threw up after drinking water at the house from drinking it so fast. This place hasn't offered us any discounts or anything and has admitted to having multiple problems with this groomer in the past. Please help me spread the word, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!! read more

Took my baby here since I wanted a change from my usual place thinking they will do a better job & pay my honey more attention since its a smaller place. She came out with uneven hair and I also found little bits of what looked to me burned areas I'm assuming from the shaver getting too hot. Overall I was very disappointed because even with Petsmart groomers I have never found anything on my sweet girl. My cue that i should have left & gone somewhere else started with The lady assigned to me, when she took my baby & didn't even try to speak to her... Just took her back like a piece of luggage. I should have had more sense & taken my baby back at this time....I really failed my lil' girl but next time I'll follow my instincts & take care somewhere else. I took my dogs here and they not only didn't cut their hair how I wanted, but they also cut my dogs eye. I had to take him to the vet and he now has an eye swollen shut and huge bump just under their eye. When I called them to notify them of the problem, they were kind enough to lie to me and say that they had not used clippers and it was not their fault....his nose was shaved and it was obviously not with scissors. And, there was nothing wrong with his eye before I took him there. I find this highly unprofessional and unethical, to lie to your customers and not accept responsibility. A real shame....to put the ones you care about tin hands that have anything but a loving touch. I'm now sitting here watching my dog suffer, with a swollen eye and barely moving. read more

Once I took my dog here, he was never the same. My dog has no personality problems, no anxiety, or aggression, he is crate trained and does not mind cages...but the day my dog got back from his services, he was sad and quiet and looked miserable. I went to pick him up and he screamed!! I had no idea if it was due to the grooming or perhaps if her got hurt while running around after, so a few months later I took him back and asked the groomers to be extremely careful, and guess what? It happened AGAIN. This time I knew it was their fault so I called asking for some sort of explanation. THEY WERE OF NO HELP. Lets just say, $800 later from meds and vet care, my dog is still terrified sometimes when I pick him up. Horrible experience. These people need to be shut down. You cannot go wrong at Loving Touch. I have been bringing my baby Bella hear since she was less than 1 and now she's turning 6. From the minute you walk in the door, you are greeted by the friendliest staff I have seen at groomers. They work with you to make sure you are getting everything you want. I like a certain haircut on my dog and a certain shampoo to use and they are completely understanding. A word of advice, if you are planning on taking your dog to get a haircut on a Saturday, make sure you have an appointment. Saturdays are their most busy day ever and there can be times that they are booked for the whole day. Also, if you are going in to drop off or pick up your dog on a Saturday, please have patience. Sometimes there are more owners in the front then hands to get the dogs. Trust me! read more

Really great staff. The place is hidden in a small shopping center where Pollo Tropical is on 137 Ave. and SW 104 Street in Kendall. My wife and I are always happy with the cut our yorkie gets here. We also always choose a lady named 'Lucy' since she's experienced with Yorkies but the other staff is also great with them. The cut here is not cheap but they are the best in Miami that we have found so far. They are always busy and is best to make an appointment. read more

This place is dog heaven! My dog (being a stubborn Pomeranian) always hated getting groomed at ANY place (especially Petco). I wanted to give this place a shot, and couldn't believe the amazing service.. The way they treat him and how well his hair looks! They will NOT let you leave unhappy. I understand my dog is quite the handful at the groomers. I know she can be a pain. She hates the vet and going to the groomers, but sometimes, these are necessary things. Loving Touch was fast and they always gave my girl a nice fresh cut just the way I wanted. Now, my thing is how I felt whenever I went. Like I said, my girl is a tough one and gets very stressed out at the groomers. She doesn't like strangers handling her. I always felt like they had this negative attitude when I would come in with her. Like, "Oh no, not her again." I just didn't really feel very welcomed as I should be as a customer. I would sometimes dread having to take her in. The last couple times I tried making an appointment, they would say they were all booked. Not that it is not possible, but I can't help feeling a little bit skeptical. So, I had an idea. What was best for my girl and my wallet? I just gave up taking my girl to the groomers in general. I bought a pair of doggie clippers and give her a cut myself. She's not as stressed out and I'm not stressed about the way I feel walking in the groomers with her. And I don't have to spend $40 or $50 every time she gets a cut. In a nutshell, they do a fab job. I just think they need to be a little more welcoming if they want to keep customers.
