It was so hard to decide on what to get so we decided to get 3 of the Al Bawadi Appetizer Sampler Platter which has Falafel, Grape Leaves, Feta Cheese, and homemade Hummus and Baba Ghanouj. Chicken Toshka: Baked pita bread stuffed with chicken shawarma, cheese and garlic spread. Fried Halloumi Cheese And for the main: large mixed kabab platter - shish kabab, kufta kabab, chicken shish tawook, lamb chops, served over our biryani and saffron rice and garnished with fresh parsley and roasted almonds. Lastly, a Grilled Shrimp Kabab Plate. I must say it was a ton of food! And I certainly tried a little of everything. Each bite was good and you couldn't go wrong. I really loved the Chicken Toshka - it was so good and I loved the crunchy baked pita the chicken and cheese was creamy! The servers were nice and very helpful. If you visit, I'm 100% sure that whatevr you order will be good. I thik the next time I visit, I'll order something small so it can be focused. But I will be sure to order the Chicken Toshka.

I've since visited the Niles location several times. The food has always been consistently excellent, but unfortunately the service has never matched the quality of the kitchen. Today's visit was by far the worst. It took over 10 minutes for our server to come to the table to take our order. Throughout the meal, I had to repeatedly flag her down whenever we needed something. To make matters worse, she seemed to disappear halfway through dinner--I'm assuming she clocked out--because we had to get another server's attention just to receive basic assistance. The food, however, was fantastic. I ordered the Al Bawadi Seafood Mixed Grill, and it absolutely delivered. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. That's what makes this so frustrating. This restaurant serves some of the best Middle Eastern food in the area, but when you're paying premium prices, you expect service that matches the quality of the food. I still recommend the food without hesitation, but the consistently poor service at the Niles location is making it harder to justify returning.

We ordered a combination platter #5 (chicken and falafel), a chicken wrap with fries and a drink, and hummus with pita. The food was amazingly fresh and delicious. The fries were so crispy and the hummus was very flavorful. I loved the Lebanese olive oil that was in the hummus... definitely one of the best olive oils I have ever tasted. I was only able to eat half of the wrap and have leftovers for lunch. The employees were kind and patient with my family when we tried to decide what to order. They answered questions without complaint. The restaurant had plenty of comfortable seating and was clean and well decorated. I will definitely be going back here with my family any time we are in the area!

Tucked away in a small shopping center, it's a cozy little spot with beautiful Moroccan lights that add to the atmosphere. The staff was patient, kind and friendly, which made the experience even better. We ordered family style so we could sample a bit of everything. Here's what we tried: * Vegetarian Combo: 5/5 stars- Ezme, hummus, falafel, and eggplant dip all on one plate. A perfect starter and a great way to taste a little bit of everything. *Mix Grill: 5/5 stars- chicken kebab, beef kebab, Adana kebab, chicken kofte, beef kofte and doner kebab. This was a hit at the table- every single piece was flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious. *Turkish Iskender: 2/5 stars- this one wasn't for me. This dish is made with a bread base topped with tomato base and shredded lamb and beef. The flavor was unique, but the texture just didn't work for me. I don't think I would order it again as it felt very soggy. *Ali Nazik: 3/5 stars- smoked grilled meat over a bed of creamy garlic, yogurt and eggplant. The meat was wonderful, but the yogurt and eggplant mix felt a little off chunky and bland like cottage cheese and needed a stronger punch of flavor. *Manti: 5/5 stars- tortellini stuffed with ground beef served in a creamy yogurt with chilly oil. unlike other places where the dumplings are huge and heavy these were small bite size and perfectly balance easily one of my favorites of the night. Overall, I definitely come back. The menu is extensive and there are still so many dishes I want to try. I can't wait for my next visit.
