Baba Ghanouj is one of my favorite dishes from middle eastern cuisine, EZ Shawarma does an excellent version. Blown away is an understatement! I came here to EZ Shawarma randomly on a Sunday around 12pm. There was one person ahead of me and there was staggered traction with customers throughout the whole time, never too busy and never too dead. The employees here were soooo hospitable and diligent! Super nice and friendly. You order at the front and then can dine in or take it to-go. Everything was freshly made to order and came PIPING hot. Pricing here was super reasonable for how much food you get, too. I got the shish tawouq entree and it was $14.99 for a big dish of rice, tawouq, a side salad, and pita. The side salad was so refreshing and light. The accompanying sauces were delicious, too. We got the small hummus and it was creamy and beautifully presented. My sister got the chicken shawarma entree and lentil soup; she also absolutely loved both. The place was clean, small, and had an awesome menu of various Middle Eastern eats. We were told by people that this IS the place to go for Middle Eastern food, so we had to give it a try. We were greeted as we walked in and I have to say, the folks here are the friendliest we've had. Now to the food...I had the Kufta Kebob and my wife had the Chicken Shawarma. The server brings out a Salad, a plate of Baba Ghanoug and a plate of Hummus. All three dishes were outstanding. The main courses arrives and I feel that it was the best I had ever tasted. I really wanted to like this place. The Sultan is the best place around this area and everywhere else is lackluster, I really want a new place to get my fix unfortunately as of now this is not it. It just didn't hit the spot for me... We got the mixed grill, the chicken is so dry and the flavors are so weird it almost makes the chicken taste old. I could not finish it. What's worse is we also ordered the chicken plate, had to go to waste. The steak was ok but not much in terms of seasoning. It's missing a char flavor even if the cook was done right. The lamb was seasoned the best out of the three but nothing special. It's also my least favorite meat, typically I stick with chicken or steak. The entrees come w different sauces. I do wish we had more sides of tahini especially for the 12 pieces and extra for the wraps we requested but I am thankful they at least gave us 3 sides of it. My go to place for Mediterranean food! Love the amount of food they give that way you can save some for later or tomorrow when hungry! Garlic sauce is great packs a flavor!
