Finally this past week we gave it a try and were most impressed! Like many small town diners/taverns in New York state, Vinn's is a local watering hole with great comfort food. I was delighted with the chicken and biscuits on mashed potatoes and gravy. My wife had a most tasty ham sandwich with fries that were delightfully crunchy on the outside but wonderfully soft on the inside....probably the best we ever ate. The staff were friendly and attentive, and even provided us with a free pass for the bridge fare on the way back to Canada. Other customers recommended the wings and onion rings, which we will definitely try on our next trip there. All in all, a great little place with wonderful comfort food. The front entrance area is for take out or eat in and where they make pizza, then in the back is a dining area with wait staff for service and behind that the kitchen. They also have a large room on the side for events/banquets. I found out after my first visit you can park behind the building in a free local municipal lot and enter through a back entrance. Ok down to the food - The wings were delicious - fresh chicken, crisped just right with a perfect house sauce. The sauce is thick, (has to be cut with butter) and was just delicious, I would literally put that s^&t on everything lol. The pizza was also excellent - round style Neapolitan with a soft yet crisp crust, delicious cheese and the sauce was slightly sweet (hello San Marzano's!) just how I like it.
